My husband and I came to look at Ascents as I am interested in investing in a good family car in the future. Stopping by was part of our research to make sure we make the right choice for our family when the time comes. The Ascent selection was great! This review however is about the experience we had with car salesmen Robert. I stopped by twice in one day, with and without my husband. He was super friendly and NOT pushy. He was easy to chat with and informative. I think that all sales people could learn from him. We even chatted about parenthood and what foods our baby likes. It was super personable which I appreciated so much. While we did not buy a car today, I left feeling very sure of my decision in buying another Subaru and a great impression of this dealership. Thank you Robert!

I had the best experience in the service department in Crew Subaru. Will was very enthusiastic, respectful and thorough. He answered every question and the service was on point. He listened and delivered pretty quickly. I usually wait to go to the Subaru in Virginia since they were my #1. I changed my mind and Will in Crew Subaru is my #1. I will ask for Will for the next maintenance. I am very please and happy with the customer service.

We would highly recommend Crews Subaru to anyone looking for a simple and personable experience. We have been Honda loyal for many years, and needed a change. Here s the thing, I seriously abhor going to car dealerships; I get so put off dealing with the typical, meathead vultures on a lot. Crews Subaru is different, all of the people we meet and worked with were fantastic. Robert K. was our salesman. He has been amazing and personable, ready to help and not at all pushy. He made the experience what it should be: easy, exciting, and fun! Jim Gerow was our finance manager and brought our experience to a smooth, simple, and amazing end. We d be happy to just hang out, have coffee and talk to him for hours! Crews Subaru has really renewed my faith in the whole car buying process, which is why we just returned to buy our second Subaru!

I had such a good experience with Jim at Subaru! When we first got there we were a little put off by the customer service but as soon as we sat in Jim s office doing the finance we felt like we were forgetting something since we were having such a good time. He is very personable and easy to laugh with. And his outfit was great

I am blown away by the service we received at Crews Subaru. We originally came from Lexus of Charleston after test driving a Lexus TX, but wanted to explore other options and check out the Ascent for my Mom. She was blown away with how comfortable it was, and was significantly cheaper. Chuck provided the best service we have received from a dealership since moving here in 2022. I was not walking into the dealership even thinking about buying a vehicle, but after being impressed with the Ascent I decided to test drive a Forester touring, and to say I was blown away. I got a very good trade in offer on my vehicle so I said lets make this happen. Unfortunately, I was not able to get approved that night due to not having enough credit history, but Chuck put his all in to attempt to get me approved that night which I have not seen anyone do yet. My finance guy Jim was amazing. Talk about funny. I honestly forgot I was buying a car he was making us all laugh the entire time. If I continue to buy Subaru's which is highly likely, you bet I will return to Crews Subaru.

Crews Subaru had the best deal on a vehicle within 500 miles of me. I drove from lower Alabama to South Carolina and would do it again in a heartbeat. The staff at Crews Subaru was awesome. The car was ready to pick up when I got there. They were very low-pressure and honest. Everyone was genuine and friendly. Closed the deal quickly. Also visited the parts department for another vehicle I own. The tech there was knowledgeable and fast, providing a great price on the parts I needed. Nothing but great things to say about Crews Subaru staff and the overall experience. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I don t like putting this on the Subaru division because the service I ve had from Subaru has been wonderful but the owner of all of Crews needs to see this!!!Should be Crook in Crews and doesn t even deserve a star! This collision center is the worst experience I ve ever had. Nine months later and thousands of dollars, I m still waiting for we guarantee our work. Their awful quality and professionalism is going to cause a huge loss, possibly deadly if nothing continues to be done. The only way they could get me to do any business with them after they correct my car, is to pay the rest of my loan off and give me a brand new car too. I will continue to give them poor reviews on every single department of the Crews company.

Disappointing communication, but historically a good dealer. I called into service to schedule an oil change that was booking a week and a half out, so I drove over to buy the parts to do the job myself and paid $87.46. I walked out to service afterwards to ask about their price for an oil change and was told it was within a dollar or two of what I had just paid. They then notified me they have an express oil change lane that does not require an appointment and could be done same day.Very disappointed I drove out and bought a kit to do myself for more $$ than I could have had them do it. I would have really liked to have been told all of this on the phone on my first call.I ve shopped here before and had good service, but it s tough to leave today and feel good about spending money here.

Without a doubt, the best car purchase experience I have ever had. Everyone had incredible knowledge of the product. No pressure to purchase and no pressure to finance. Top notch organization and crew. I would encourage everyone to take a look at Crews Subaru!

Really disappointing experience with Crews Subaru. We made an appointment to have roof racks put on our Subaru Forester with Crews. Prior to our appointment, we sent along all of the information necessary to order the correct racks. It wasn't until we arrived (an hour drive for us one-way) that we were told the racks they ordered wouldn't work for our vehicle and that Subaru no longer made the racks we would need. Not sure why that couldn't have been figured out prior to us arriving...We were then advised by Crews staff to purchase a particular model of roof rack off of Ebay and told that, once these were purchased, Crews would be able to install them (without a warranty which we were fine with).After purchasing and receiving the roof racks that, again, we were advised to purchase BY CREWS SUBARU, we were told by their scheduling person, Dominica, that an installation would not be possible because the racks were not made by Subaru. When I tried to explain to her that we had been told otherwise by a different member of the Crews staff, she was incredibly dismissive and rude with an overall "not my problem, try somewhere else" attitude.It should be noted that when I informed the Crews employee who originally suggested I purchase the Ebay racks what Dominca said, she urged me to ask Dominica to make an exception. I obviously didn't do that because it is not my responsibility to beg someone to do their job.The lack of communication between departments is unacceptable and �fortunately �no longer my problem. Not coming back.

Crews Subaru made my car buying experience seamless and enjoyable, I didn t think that was possible when purchasing a new vehicle. I am very thankful for Rhett and Joshua s help throughout the process from initial test drive to the financial part of it. Crews Subaru is the real deal and I highly recommend anyone looking for a new vehicle to give them a go.Grateful to Crews Subaru for a great buying experience.

I hate to write this review. I have owned 2 Subarus and I love the the product. As a technician by trade, I pull my own maintenance. When I went to the dealership today to purchase some transmission fluid for my vehicle, I was told they could not sell it to me over the counter, that I had to bring my car into service to get the fluid changed. I had previously purchased fluid from there before, and it was not an issue. Today, they stated that they cannot sell the HTCVTF over the counter, only the regular CVTF which is not compatible with my vehicle. I am not happy. I am a subie owner and I want the best for my car which is why I went to the dealer for parts. I would like management to contact me and explain why they do not sell Subaru parts to Subaru customers who want to properly maintain Subaru vehicles.

I really feel "at home" at Crews Subaru. From the enthusiastic greeting upon arrival, to the heartfelt "Thank You" as I drive away.The work is top notch. Never had a problem with any repairs.There is a comfortable waiting room. And, I can take my dog!

An hour and 20 minutes to buy a car has to be some kind of new record! From Traci to Rhett to Josh the team was impeccable and efficient. It's hard to find service like that these days.They also beat the credit unions finance rate. Thank you all!

The customer service was fairly good, however that is the good thing I can say about Crews. I had a warranty repair done to my Brz and the technicians incorrectly installed the new part. Then took my car on a joyride, using over a 1/4 of a tank of gas. To top it all off they ate food in my car and left crumbs and portions of food on my floor mats and seats.

I am kind of left with no choice but to leave a review at this point. So back in August which I have the email from customer advocacy, My stereo started playing on its on and skipping around. I noticed bubbles behind the screen. So first and former I do not use cleaner on my screen never have so I know it is not that. I contacted Subaru Customer support where I then was sent to contact cruise Subaru. I have contacted them via email and phone about this issue mind you my warranty ran out January 1st of this year! This claim was put in last year while the extended warranty was good! So now my question is why have yall NOT contacted me? You contacted my job but not me when my number has been left with yall 5 times now! Sad to say I had to leave this because I feel yall wanted me to pay iut of pocket for something that has been complained about by other subaru owners! Yes I have looked up youtube videos and comments about this same issue. Now i am stuck with no warranty! And I cant just show up with the vehicle due to me working hours yall are open and get off when your closed this is sad and really does change my views on owning another subaru

My Wife purchased a 2018 Subaru Forester 2.5i from this Dealership. Outstanding staff and Manager !!!! Looking forward in doing more business with this Subaru Dealership. Subaru vehicles are the best !!!! My wife now has a 2021 Subaru Forester Premium. I still have my 2010 Subaru Forester Premium X. Shout out to Alisha Gatlin the service advisor for her assistance during my wife's oil change service today !!! Crews Subaru of Charleston is the best, their staff and Managers !!!! Purchased my 2013 outback new from this franchise and have continued with their service center since then. The service experience has been absolutely wonderful the last decade! The staff is always professional, courteous and accommodating. They always greet me by my name, always explain everything to me in detail and always exceed the a high customer service mark in my book. I cant speak any more highly of dealership in the area and they have earned my trust, confidence and loyalty. Thank you Crews Subaru!

Came in for a new Subaru Crosstrek. I had already done my own personal research in what exactly I was looking for in my next vehicle and what kind of features I wanted. I was drawn to the amount of safety features that Subaru offers for a reasonable price. I test drove a Crosstrek first with Rhett first and then took about 2 weeks to decide what model and specs that I wanted. After attempting to find a vehicle in the color that I wanted originally through another dealership, I decided to go with one that Rhett had to offer for almost the same price with even more features! The team were very thorough and helpful through the whole process and took care of almost everything! Pam handled the financing which was very smooth and easy to understand. I have been a frequent flyer of this dealership for all my maintenance needs for my own forester since 2020 (Justin in that department is their star employee), but my husband just bought a used forester from them today as well. The whole team is fantastic. But I'd like to mention a few that made our experience more than stellar. Kevin, the sales manager, is truly so good at what he does, and is supremely knowledgeable. He has never once forgotten my name and how I like to be treated. Robert and Chuck dealt with us buying this most recent car, and we couldn't have been happier with their approach. A bazillion stars to the Crews Subaru team. We are loyal customers for life!

Overall very good experience! Brought my 21 WRX in with bald tires (one with a nail) and a questionable clutch and left feeling taken care of and safe in my car again. I ve been bringing my car to Justin Mazyck since I got the car 2 years ago and he has always taken care of me. Entire team at Crews is always so welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend!
