I went to this location today after experiencing a rough two hours of trying to get assistance on the side of the road. By the grace of God two wonderful peopleassisted my young sons and myself with putting my spare on. One of them drove behind me to make sure I safely arrived at Gerald s Tires. The technician Christian and the manager Chris were super excellent and very kind. I decided to buy a brand new tire and they quickly got us back up and running in less than 35 minutes! And to top it off I unexpectedly received a beautiful rose from them which brought a smile to my face after I was beginning to lose hope in some of the humanity in this world. However, I met wonderful and amazing people today that assisted us during this storm and I am ever so grateful! Thank you Gerald s Tire team!! Will definitely recommend your location!

This is how a team should work. The store is so busy and these folks work non-stop. Leadership is cool and calm ALL day and has more work than any one person should be able to handle. Chris leads a team of tremendous workers. They went above and beyond and went to another store to get the tires I needed. I very rarely write reviews. This one needed to be written. Highly recommend.

I drove in to SC from Connecticut for the weekend due to a family emergency and the day before I have to leave to drive back to CT I have an issue with one of my tires. My sister who lives here always hears about this location and says let s go here! I am extremely happy that we did. The guys here were wonderful. So quick and efficient. Super careful and did a great job repairing my tire and making sure everything was safe for my drive back! Chris, who I am assuming is the manager, was so extremely kind and provided excellent customer service. My sister said this is the only place she will be using going forward and will be referring everyone to this shop! Great Job Gerald s!

Just when you thought South Carolina roads couldn't get worse, an actual SCREW DRIVER ends up in my tire. Issac and the boys at this location patched me and had me cracking up hearing them in the back talk about how they were going to fix it. They did good and made my morning! Thanks guys!!

Chris definitely needs more help at this store. Long wait for flat repair and new tires. However, Chris did everything possible to give me good customer service. As I said he needs more help. It would have a lot more smoother for him. Appreciate them. You should try them but need patience.Went back again today to take care of tire light on dash. Chris gets 5 stars from me! He did everything to find the problem and was successful.Can't thank him enough for his patience and professionalism to make everything right.

I got a screw in my tire leaving work on Rivers Ave. I barely made it to Gerald s at 5:20, totally expecting to have to leave my car over night because they were packed and it was close to closing. These men were so kind to me and went above and beyond to help me out. They weren t rude or crabby with me for coming in so close to closing time, and even stayed after their shift to fix my tire. I was so grateful and I can t say enough good things about these kind, hardworking men who went above and beyond to help me get home safe. It s been a week and the tire has held up great so far.Thank you a million guys, honestly, I appreciate your level of service, dedication, and professionalism.

These guys were the best. From the beginning to end they are very polite patient and kind. They all provide customer service at its best. The staff all seemed to be having a great time and lots of laughs and fun throughout the time I was there! The tires I bought were used but a great price and value. I will return there again when the need arises!Thank you all for a great retail experience!

Just got my tire repaired from a nail getting lodged in it. Mr. Gene got me in and fixed my tire quickly and efficiently at no charge. I would highly recommend their services.

This is my second or third time having a nail removed from one of my tires and the tire patched. They never charge me when they patch my tires and are always helpful and friendly! Sometimes they even leave a rose on your car seat when they repair the tire at no charge! Gerald's replaced tires on my previous car as well and it was a good experience. I will definitely go back and highly recommend them!

It would be nice if the patrons to this location felt as valued as those at other locations. The waiting room is awful and Heaven forbid if you need the restroom. The customers who appreciate the location should have substantially improved waiting areas.

19 mins before they close, they refuse to do a plug. 5 min w/o. I ve had to pay for 3 tires that I paid for road hazard and because they couldn t find the paper work, due to not having a single computer system, I was stuck with 3 used tires! More worried about leaving at 4 then taking 5 minutes to take care of a customer. Not the typical Gerald s Tire at all!! I was a service manager for a Pep boys supper center in Va beach. Full service repair. My installers had more customer service naturally then the individuals managing this location. I would take that shop as a project for 1 year and increase repeat service at minimum of 85%!! Simple structure and willingness to go that extra mile is what I have always experienced with Gerald s. Friendly hard workers. This shop needs to be cleaned out, fire them all. New proper ,hardworking , customer service oriented management is the only way to take this store that s riding on the solid reputation of Gerald Tire to pay the light bill and turn it into the business model for Gerald s tire!! Great location horrible staff!! Lazy plain lazy.

I m it used to all the cigarette smoke where customers sit to wait for repairs second hand smoke is the worse smoke manager decided to close the garage door leading to the waiting area after it s all smoked out had to walk outside to catch my breath I won t be returning to this location didn t appreciate the hospitality at all I will be visiting either dorchester road locations those crews know how to treat and respect customers of all the years I ve been coming to this one I can definitely say that I won t be returning

If I could give negative stars I would. I brought my tire to get a puncture fixed and my rim got entirely scratched up. There is a huge scratch on the outside and by the lugnuts it is covered in scratches. Very unhappy with this and will never be coming back.

It was one of the best experiences I have had after paying for new tires at the Hyundai Dealership on Rivers a couple of months ago and being told I will need a new tire without even looking at the tire that was flat! While Gerald s didn t even charge me for taking off the tire and explaining why it couldn t be plugged. Dealing with a flat for over week and having to fill up with air daily till pay day definitely made me know where I would want to bring my business to and it s Gerald s Tires. The dealership was more expensive, they are cold, and to the point while Gerald s Tire went the extra mile with their customer service. To top it off having Gerald s Tires balance and put a new tire for me after not taking more customers on a Saturday while it s raining and they are trying to finish up to go home, they squeezed me in and left roses in my car! Not to mention they saved me money!!!

Gerald's is the only place i even think about going if i have any issues with my tires or if i need a new set. The employees are very nice and go out of their way to help. They also know everything about tires and brakes. Once you get there they are always hustling and moving fast to get you back on the road. I can't see any other tire place doing more than they do. If you haven't tried them you have to go and i promise you wont regret it.

I will never go anywhere else! If you re from Charleston, you already know how amazing they are at Gerald s. If you re not from around here and you re wondering about this place, they are absolutely wonderful! The service is always so good, everyone there is incredibly friendly and the prices are great. It really is rare to find such a great place nowadays. Highly recommend!

This will forever be the place to go! I got 4 new tires last week and this week i had a blow out. I was so upset and went up there after getting my spare on and Ashley assisted me. He was such a phenomenal person to work with. i left my car and walked back to my job which is about 0.2 miles away and about 10 minutes later he brought me my car. i cannot praise this location enough for the amazing people who have helped me out. the customer experience is truly amazing

My daughter and I stopped by to get a plug and tire pressure check. Matt, the technician tended to us. He was very professional, friendly, patient with customers and extremely knowledgeable about tires. Matt also gave us awesome tips on how to inspect and preserve our tires; this information is good for all travelers who hit the road local or long distance(particularly a Clemson student that drives back and forth for mom's cooking). Kudos!!

Today was the worst experience ever at Geralds I have been coming here for years but never had to wait 3 hours for a tire repair. About 4 of us experience this. One guy was doing all the yard work while the 4 other guys kept messing around in the back n disappearing. This crew Today Don't Ever need to work theSame Location again..

I went there to get a tire patched, I had a plug put into it as a partial fix until I could get to a tire shop for repair/replace. I waited an hour and a half for my tire to be taken off and put back on with nothing done and no explanation. They didn't even tell me they didn't fix the tire. I went to to Discount Tire the next morning. I spoke to a gentleman named Brandon C. He explained to me my solution and had me on my way in 15 minutes. I've had friends that were Geralds' employees and have gone to Geralds' tire for pretty much everything and anytime I needed something to do with tires. This is not my 1st poor experience with Geralds on Rivers' Ave, however it is the last.

This place is the best!!! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I'm not from here but caught a flat tire on the way down here for vacation! They even gave me a rose! They made my day! I will always come back! Great place! Better than the big chain car repair places! Fast too! I love GERALDS TIRES AND BRAKES..

It was slow because they are understaffed but they did a good job and tried really hard to get things moving quickly. They guys were basically running trying to get things done. Very friendly staff as well.

Tires were mounted fairly quickly without problems. All 4 wheels were heavily scratched in the process. The wheels were in great condition before hand. Very disappointed
