Pros: People are very nice from techs to admin; they saved me a ton of money on thankless water heater repair; previous shop wanted to replace it altogether but Unique C was able to repair it under warranty.Cons: My RV remained here for 5 months; they were very short staffed so my calls/emails only got returned about 40% of the time. At one point I made a 4hr round trip drive just to get status as they werent responding. They say they spent 10hrs inspecting it so they can make repairs, but when it was returned to me, AC & heat pump still wasn't working Although they were supposed to replace, fantastic fan they say they fixed wasnt working (motor issue), usb port not working, the underbelly fell out altogether while driving it & luckily I had someone tailing me to inform me it happened and all my underbelly wires and tubes were exposed...I had to pull over on the side of the road & reattach it with zipties although unique customizations said they had fixed the underbelly. When I received my RV from Unique C., the black tank was open so as soon as I parked/set up, all that nastiness came shooting out everywhere because they left it open. I knew I was moving from SC in Feb 2024 which is why I brought it in Jul 2023 so there was sufficient time to get parts/repairs complete before I departed. My warranty expired while they had the RV so when I noticed all the issues that remained after picking it up, I had to spend another $5K+ out of pocket at a diff shop to fix the issues Unique Customizations didn't fix (AC, underbelly, usb port, etc) even though this would've been covered by warranty. When I called in Dec & left a message for help right after I picked up my RV, I never got a call back. They're nice people & I think they have very competent technicians, but they are so short staffed, alot wasnt done correctly & I feel like they often bite off more than they can chew. They need at least one more person to answer the phone/emails because even the fill-in temp worker said they have so many calls that most were going unanswered because they don't have enough people & they need more technicians. I'd only recommend going here if you live close enough to the company that you can check on your RV status "in person" & bring it back if the job wasnt done correctly or at all. I didn't have that luxury as I lived far away & was in the military & also fostering kids at the time.

If there were 10 stars I'd give it because they earned it. Mechanic Scott trouble shot an electrical problem on the my bus that would have kept me off the road and a college softball team from having the fun they were looking forward to, and he did it in an hour or less. Incredible work and thought to trace down a nightmare and fix it. This business took me in under my emergency and completely saved the day and week. Veteran owned and operated and because of their skills they deserve your consideration. Give them a call, my guess is you'll be thankful you did.

These folks are great. I have used their services for both my personal trailer and they have been a miracle for our equipment trailer for Scout Troops 888/1888. I use that trailer for the farm and something is always getting broken on that. They are a scout family and patriots. Thank you for your service Josh. Bring in your broken stuff and they will get it done.

Ever wonder about places that have nothing but 5 stars. It s usually because they don t post the negatives. We had Unique Customizing come and due repair work on our 5th wheel a few years ago. They were excellent. Since then I have had conversations via text per their request and have been ghosted both times. Once Josh was OOT and someone was scheduled to come out. No call. No show. Within the last couple weeks I texted and was told they could do the work I needed and when I asked when they could come out I am being ghosted again. I would love to give them business but I guess they don t want it.

Had aquahot serviced in Texas. Did not work and they couldnt figure out why, told us we would most likely have to buy a new one, charged us a ton of money for the service. Moved to this area, found this business on Aquahot web page as an authorized service center. Josh quickly diagnosed the problem, aquahot fixed same day for a fraction of the price. Showed us the fuel filter that was obviously NOT changed at previous service. Good work, reasonable prices and time spent to explain the issue and repairs including photos.Unique customizations is where we will take our motorhome for any service from now on.

We purchased an older Rv to fix up.It broke down numerous times .Then we found out about unique customization .What a lucky break. I called up Josh and dropped it off not knowing what needed to be done.i told them to please check it out and let me know what it needed. Know they could have told me that it needed 100 things done. But they are not only honest they are extremely knowledgeable and do phenomenal work. They are all very nice.easy to work with. I would give them 10 stars. Forget the rest. They re the best

Josh and his staff are very eager and willing to help with any issue with your RV unlike many of the other service shops. Helped diagnose problems with aqua-hot system over the phone when we were unable to get the coach to his shop. Very knowledgable and willing to share information to get me going when I was in a bind! Also had an emergency electrical issue while traveling near his location and he was able to take me in to do repairs and get me back on the road! Would highly recommend them if you are in need of repairs or maintenance for your RVServices: General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Battery

Very professional and very helpful and accommodating! I had an emergency and they sent a tech to my house and got my RV fixed enough to get it to their shop. Then diagnosed the issue and had it fixed in a few days! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Please let me share my extravagant experience! Brad came out on a Friday afternoon and stayed with me almost 3 hours explaining any and every question I had! He even got on the roof and he went over one end to the other! I'm so happy I found this place and they are going be on my speed dial! Thank u Amanda and Brad for being so much help today!!!!

We had a vent cover fly off during a storm. The owner came out to the with a ladder, fixed it so we wouldn t lose it on the drive home and didn t charge us a penny! We need repairs so we will definitely be back to see him!!!

Coming from Raleigh to N. Myrtle Beach on our MH. We stopped at a rest area for my husband to use the restroom. He went to open the MH door and nothing happened. We waved a truck driver over to see if he could open the door. NO LUCK. We would not get out. I called Unique Customizations and Amanda ask is we could drive to their shop and they would get the door opened for us. Two hours laters, they dropped what they were doing to come to our rescue. Beside that, for some reason the battery in the jeep we were pulling died and Amanda charged the jeep battery and got the jeep started. As they say, when it rains it pores. Thank you Amanda and Josh for being a Unique Customizations Company that we highly recommend. Wished you were in the Raleigh/Cary area! Thank you.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Josh answered the phone promptly. He was polite and listened as I explained that I needed a repair on tow chains for an enclosed trailer. He said bring it in, we are here and we can take care of this for you. When I arrived he stopped what he was doing and greeted me. Josh was AWSOME we had been having Aqua Hot issues for over a year and we finally found a repair service that knew what they were doing. 2 different mobile repair companies prior to Josh trouble shot the issue and BOTH were incorrect and had no clue what they were doing. Josh had the knowledge and the parts on his mobile truck to replace the faulty parts. His invoice was reasonable and I was happy to pay it.Great service and very appreciated.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Josh and Brad are absolutely awesome! We were on our way to Myrtle beach and trashed a wheel bearing and a tire on our 5th wheel! I got it to them and not only did they fix all the wheel bearings and brakes and tires but they did it right then and there as soon as we got there! I am 100% percent pleased and would recommend them to anyone in that area! They are in a great location and they have a very large parking lot that is very easy to turn around in! The shop is clean the atmosphere is great! Brad explained to me step by step of what he was doing and why he was doing it and then josh walked me through options and prices to make it convenient and super affordable! Seriously this is where you need to go! Not anywhere else!Services: Tires, Electrical, Brakes

Great communication, knowledgeable, and professional. Was late for my appointment on a Sunday and Josh still got my annual aquahot service completed quickly. Needed a new tube and reservoir after Josh s inspection and he had parts in stock. Plenty of room to get in and out with my 45ft coach with wrangler in tow. Josh at Unique Customizations is the man to see for all your RV services as well as his other tech. See you next time guys, sorry again for being late.Service: Electrical

Josh and Brad were super nice. I started having Burner ignition failure in my Aquahot a few days before heading SC. I ve already replaced burner nozzle and coolant filter but the error persisted. I looked up Aquahot homepage and learned their shop is only 15 min away from my next camp ground. A day before arriving SC, I spoke with Josh who kindly agreed to take a look with the short notice. The initial diag suggested to replace the control sensor that required draining out the antifreeze. The next day while Josh was working on Aquahot, Brad took care of the oil/oil & fuel filter on the main engine of the coach and oil/oil filter of the generator. Unfortunately, Aquahot issue came back that night. Again, I spoke with Josh who kindly allowed me to borrow his used controller which I ended up buying for $200 about 1/2 of the price as new.The Aquahot issue may/may not have been solved at the moment. In any case, I felt very fortunate to find Josh s shop. Particularly impressive was Josh s responsiveness to Text. I highly recommend to contact Josh if you are having issues on your RV when coming to Myrtle Beach area of SC. Thanks.

Had my RV roof cleaned and sealed. Had a damaged ladders replaced which required new roof connections which were also sealed. Anytime you are in the Myrtle Beach area, and require RV service, this is your first call. First rate replacement of OEM convection/microwave oven in our Class "A" DP, was performed and looks marvelous. Hands down fantastic work and customer service. While out at North Myrtle Beach RV and dry dock my travel trailer was damaged by their staff. I want to thank Unique Customizations for coming out and repairing the problem. The tech , Brad, that come out was honest ,reliable, and had my trailer hitch repaired in minutes. Thank Again, Bob Keating.

Needed to get rv ac related/replaced. Saw ad online. Called and spoke with Josh, said he could check it out along with couple other issues. Dropped it off and replaced ac in about a week, along with checking air ride, and a couple other item. Pricing seemed reasonable. Have not been on a trip yet but could be, changed to Stopped by, no appt. For generator issue. Josh tried his best to get it running, cleaned carb and lines. Ac Unit 25 yo, needs parts that may not be available. Advised to contact generac. Thanks JoshHighly recommend.

Josh Smith and his Unique Customization and RV Repair team are the RVer s best friends. I had a tire delaminate and damage several systems in my coach. They made room in their schedule to accommodate us and our Virginia Tech football schedule. Once the problem was analyzed and the parts ordered they even provided a temporary repair so we could get our coach on the road to see several games. Once the parts came into their shop, we scheduled our repair in a very timely manor. On a separate note both he and his wife serve in the Reserves, and he did all this managing his 3 young girls while his wife is deployed! Their spirit and professionalism shows!

I always have my Tiffin service yearly and they are very good and great to work with on service.Does anyone know if they are still opened, I have tried calling for the last 2 weeks and left several messages.Hope they have not moved, have to take the Tiffin to Red Bay.Service: Oil change

We had an issue with our new truck and camper. We drove there to get some help and they couldn't have been more helpful and nicer. Our problem was fixed in a very short time and for a very reasonable price. If I was local I would not hesitate to make them our regular repair place. Thanks again for your assistance
