Apparently, I looked sketchy today when returning a part for my son's truck that wasn't needed. The lady tested the part, which I understand, and then made me go back to my car to get my ID prior to issuing a credit card refund that was already in their system and automatically applied.???

Awful customer service. They made a huge deal about price matching items that were at advanced auto parts claimed if the store that has it in stock is not same town then they could not price match, where as the store that that had it in stock was less than 15 minutes away. Avoid this store if possible!

Don was so helpful. He was polite, and professional. He used the Fix Finder to help us diagnose the problem with my vehicle. Don helped us with the parts needed for repair. Great service and experience, thank you.

My husband just called there. A lady answered the phone. My husband who is always very polite said, Hello how are you doing today? She replied VERY rude, Kind of BUSY can I help you??? He said Never mind then and hung up. They better get better customer service to answer calls.

I was helped by a New associate. I can't remember his name, but he was super helpful and was trying his best to put his training to good use. Reminded me to sign up using my contact info so i could get money off on my next order. I miss the days of super friendly and helpful associates. He hit the mark on all points. Y'all got a good man in inman,sc.

We had to exit off the interstate because our Expedition was losing battery power. After a good Samaritan brought an extension cord and battery charger to get us enough charge to make it the rest of the way to AutoZone. Then the best AutoZone worker I have ever encountered helped us to get the proper tools and the alternator to fix our SUV. He even gave us some cold bottled water to drink after we were done. Such an amazing worker and human being.

So I usually never ding a bad review on a business but WOW. Here in inman the auto zone sits mabe 150 feet from a car wash I was at. And i was denied help with my dead battery. Not that this means much but definitely lost my business. Advance Auto in inman will get my business going forward.

Among the 3 chain parts stores in Inman this is the best. Great parts and accessories and knowledgeable staff. Better selection of parts generally and shelves are straight and stuff is where it is supposed to be.

Polite ,extremely helpful, all around good service, Helped me by carrying battery from car to store checking it and replacing it while still under warranty, and carried back to my car. They have at other times looked at other small things on my car and got me the stuff to fix it and told me how. This is my go to store for my automotive due to superior A + service.

Fairly well run operation.A position where AutoZone could invest$$ in that would put the company clearly at the top of the auto parts retailer/outlets industry is a " dedicated greeter/information person. For getting customer in & out feeling that their basic needs were address ed immediately.Sometimes customer may just need to get an isle or area of the store to be directed to with no immediate delay in the shopping experience. Many times there is a delay getting an employee to adress the customer ? This would be very helpful and worth the investment.

Don was very helpful and professional! He was smart and took the time to check to see if my battery was under warranty which it was and was very good at doing my battery install! Go see this place and ask for Don! He was awesome!

Walked in and asked how the young lady behind the desk was doing and she just kind of stared at me and had her phone in her hand. Then I politely asked where the refrigerant was for my truck and she kind of rudely pointed where it was. Very unprofessional I suppose she was having a bad day. We all have those days, but you shouldn t let it show to the customers. I will go to O Reilly s next time

Went in to get a camshaft position sensor and the guy that worked there tried to sell me the wrong part and when I told him that was not it he argued with me. He has no basic knowledge of cars and should not be working there. I had to go to another auto parts store where they were so helpful.

I was just been down the road at another auto parts store, and told that my car's battery needed "professional installation". I left and decided to stop here for a second opinion. Well, I found out that the other store was absolutely wrong (I confirmed online as well). The staff at the other store simply didn't want to take the time to change it. I understand it's a bit of a hassle, but still. I almost went to the dealership and had to fork out a ton of money. The staff at AutoZone jumped right on it and had it changed out in 10 minutes, without a problem. Great, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff! Thanks!

Not well staffed so waited for a while for an employee to ring up. 1 was helping a customer on the phone & was being extremely patient & helpful from what I could hear... The other was helping an older couple replace wiper blades in the parking lot. In my opinion, they arent slow due to poor or lazy employees; they are slow because they actually care... I can wait...

Went to get battery tested/replaced. Sent young man to do the job, didn't look a day over 16, obviously had little to no experience. After 10 minutes, still hadn't been able to connect tester. Told mgr looked like he could use some help. Immediately started to tell me about sir post batteries. Wasted 20 minutes; no battery. Went down the street to O'Reilly's. Had NEW battery and gone less than 10 minutes. Screw this place with this manager.

With Bad weather forecasted in our area, we were in need of s starter for a large stand by generator. After calling all Auto parts stores within a 50 mile radius , we took a chance at our Local Auto Zone in Inman SC, took the starter inside , set it on the counter and told Blaine Fulton what I needed , and he immediately suggested that a starter for a Dodge diesel truck would work for my needs , he got one from the back and it worked perfectly ! Thank you for the effort instead of just saying we don t have generator parts like the other places did .Thanks again Blaine . Give this guy a raise Auto Zone!

I was in your store this afternoon talking to one of the younger guys on a transmission part who was very rude would not listen to what I was trying to explain to him because obviously he knows everything instead he said could not get the part and if he would have listened to what I was trying to explain to him we wouldn't be at this situation right now but yet I went to your other AutoZone store and got the part I needed I just moved to Inman I love the little area but I will never walk into that AutoZone store again that is one of the rudest people I have met in a long time so thanks to him you lost a customer somebody needs to teach him what customer service is and learn to be polite

I've always had good service when visiting this location. Friendly, professional employees. Clean and well stocked store. It's organized like every other Auto Zone so if you're familiar with one, you're familiar with them all. Easy to find as well.

Blaine and Mackenzie on the 2nd shift Crew as well as 2 others I know I'm leaving out.. Thanks for all your help today on November 9th 2021. Thank you for making sure our car was good to go for the mountains and the oil collection. Thank you for your help with the OBD code scan. We live in Greenville but my daughter goes to Chapman High School in Inman. She is a new, young driver and got caught in a rainstorm with a malfunctioning windshield wiper. She called me in a panic and I called the AutoZone location closest to her. The gentleman I spoke with, Phillip, took my call, pulled the correct wipers for her year/make/model vehicle and allowed me to pay over the phone. His stellar customer service didn t end there ... he also put the new wiper blades on her car so that she could safely travel home. (Keep in mind that he was doing this in the rain!!) Thank you, AutoZone, for hiring staff like Phillip that keep drivers (safely) on the road and for their impeccable level of customer service!!

Best auto zone I've been to. Took a starter in to be replaced under warranty for my old project truck. Got that, then asked about a new fuel pump which surprisingly they had in stock. Wanted to check it to see if it had a filter already inside it but the canister was too tight. The guy pulls a new filter wrench from the shelf, takes it out of the package and hands it to me just to open it. A few other parts I needed the guy knew exactly what I was talking about and got them from the shelf plus some free fuel hose from scrap. Didn't have their rewards card so I signed up and they used a 10% off coupon they had laying around. Overall good experience, and I'd drive past another autozone just to go to this one. Thanks guys

The people that work there would prefer to stand around and talk to one another than to help you find what you need for your vehicle. I normally prefer auto zone but since I've moved to this area I have found myself going to advance and other auto parts store BEFORE auto zone, because of the non-working peeps here...
