Mark and the rest of the guys there were very helpful in turning around a regular maintenance on my Series 60 Detroit. They stock the Detroit brand fluids and OEM filters etc while hitting their schedule and price commitments. Will definitely be headed back.

I recently had my truck in the shop for issues with it running hotter than normal. I was told that to find out what was going wrong they needed to replace the EGR sensor and sensor P. only to be told that I needed a EGR cooler after spending $1171.48. To replace the EGR cooler it would cost an additional $4500.00. Being that I have had a Cooler to go out before that didn t seem like it was the problem I took my truck to another shop and the tech said it is the water pump that was bad. Now my truck is running just fine. If you have to take your truck to this shop if possible get a second opinion about the service that s needed. It could save thousands of dollars

Cody service advisor and Tech on my vehicle top notch great service had parts in stock and Southern Hospitality that doesn't go unnoticed lounge for truckers comfortable quiet clean bathroom and tv so I took advantage and caught up world news hands best mechanic service shop I've been too since I've came into trucking.

I had a engine overhaul at a dealership out west over the winter. Three months later, I couldn't climb a hill. Really? I brought it to a dealership in South Carolina and after a couple of days they told me to take it to W.W. Williams. A few hundred dollars and a week later, it's running up smoothly, quietly, the mpg is over 8. RESULTS!

They are a little pricey but you get what you pay for. After two other shops and a tire shop could not find the problem with my semi. I took it here and within an hour they located the issue. They made the repair and I have had no other issues. Could not be more pleased with the service the time it took for the repair and the staff. Keep up the great work

As a owner of a truck and trailer repair company I buy parts on a daily basis. W.W. Williams has become my go to for those hard to find parts and tools or parts that are not available in my area. Every time I call W.W. Williams the parts department is extremely professional with a good attitude and is well trained with knowledge. They go Beyond what they have to, to get me parts or tools that I need to keep my customers rolling safely. Wish I was closer so I could buy all my parts there. Thanks W.W. Williams

They have had my truck for over a month and still can't figure out what's wrong with my truck. I tried to explain what it's doing and a few things that could help them narrow down the issues and they just brushed me off. They told me and my company she was done 2 weeks ago. Then I finally tell my company, that's it no more runs till I go get my truck. ( BECAUSE WE ARE KNOW HOW LONER TRUCKS ARE...) I get there and am told, oh we are sorry, we told them that we found other issues.

They got me 100 % satisfied with what they have done on my 1998 Freightliner Century. The truck was running low on power and also cut off on me when pulling up on the hills.Brought the unit to the shop and they got me In right away.Found issues on timing.Diagnozed bull gear job needs to be done as long with new sensors and oil pump.The truck was done in a timely manner and is on the road!! We brought our truck in there after being dissatisfied from the work we received from Excel Group. They were quick to get the truck in and get it fixed. They are reasonable priced and very thorough in their diagnostic.

Friendly people with decent customer service .They might know how to work on Detroit motors and transmissions but if you are having suspension problems you re better off going somewhere else.Their technical staff played a $140 per hour guessing game. They cost me over $1500 in unnecessary part changing and labor and 5 days of down time. During that period I had to return once for same exact problem and I was charged for rework for things that I already paid for . I can play guessing game by myself and keep on changing parts until I find what s really wrong with the truck but that s why I didn t do that and went to WW Williams to make sure a well trained and qualified tech will take a look at it and diagnose the problem right away!I will give them one more chance because of their good reputation up to that point and if they fail again I will look for another truck repair shop !Sorry for the bad review but I am being honest!

As a more recent encounter with WW Williams in Greer, SC, I must say that these guys made my first experience as a truck buyer one of the greatest experiences ever. Being a technology guy, it is very often we inherit a customer centric culture. Honestly speaking, I ve seen a lack of this in many industries and many retail outlets, but these guys were a class A model for how service should be done. They called me at 9pm to make me aware of a filter that needed changing, retrieved authorization to do so, and performed the work as expected. Cody or Codie was transparent and informed me of every step. Guy was a great guy to talk to and I learned a lot by talking with this team along with either Chris or Mike that is there later in the evening. Clyde from Swift body shop worked with these guys to get my truck serviced and I also thank him for the awesome job he did as well throughout the process. These guys are pros at what they do!Service: Oil change

I'm here about every month with my dad because something is always going wrong with his truck. Other than paying $7,000 to get everything fixed and taking 2 weeks to do so, (I'm unsure if that price is high or not) everything was great. They communicated with my dad whenever he called and they answered all his questions

These guys are super busy however they get to your truck when they tell you up front they can. Excellent service writers very friendly very knowledgeable. And hey it's WW Williams... One of the best for Detroit engine repair!!

Preliminary - Service was great, parts were slightly cheaper, everyone was friendly.Fast forward to returning cores man oh man where do I begin. No communication between these guys every one is clueless but EVERYONE knows what s going on too many chiefs & not enough Indians.Let s Just say the way I was racially discriminated against won t allow me to spend another penny of my hard earned money with this company what a joke if I could give zero stars I would.I can t speak for the company as a whole because this is the only location that I ve dealt with GREER, SC & Mr Brian Monroe but as a hard working black man I ve never felt belittled to the size of an ant in my life.

Great parts and service people i am a elderly woman owner operators and they came right out in parking lot immediately and fixed highly recommend also freightliner dealer in Indianapolis stay away even if you have to be towed somewhere else

We had our truck having issues and took it to W.W. Williams for it to be fixed. They Charged us almost $4,000 to get "the problem" fixed. NOT even 2 months after getting the truck back, it was already having the same issue! Being as it was still covered under warranty, both parts and labor, we took it back there. After a few days, I called up there and the guy told me that they had to send our truck to Detroit Motors to have them look at it. They brought it back and told them to perform ATD checklist and a low temperature regen. And that it was going to cost us almost another $1,000. When asked why we were having to pay for the same problem they didn't fix in the first they gave us excuse that it wasn't covered. We went to go pick up the truck and have someone else take a look at it, and they wouldn't release the truck back to us until we paid $275 for a diagnostic test; which they also said they FOUND Nothing! Needless to say, they will never have our service!

These mechanics know their stuff. The fellow found the problem in my APU immediately. A water sensor retro fit was installed along with a new alternator. Within 2 hours.

I had appt 8am they took me at 10.40am. Then they took truch in shop check my lights and so on. But am here for an alignment. Who knows hows alignment problem has relation to my lights. Then at 11am mec. Left for lunch. Now its 12.37pm and he didnot come back. Still didnot do anything at all. Hows great this service LOL. I dont know if owner know about it. Maybe he at least read this review and will know what he paying for.

Took my truck here and paid alots to get it out and the truck wasn't fixed, got down the road and the same thing I paid to get fixed happened again!!! It's to many shops getting away with changing alots of money and not fixing the problems...

Was broke down on interstate near their location. Guy in parts was very helpful. They had what I needed and even brought it to me on the side of the highway. Can't think them enough.
