Tuffy's is great! Rob is always up front and honest. Whenever I have to take my vehicle in, he will give me a full description and quote of what needs to be done. If he runs into something unexpected while doing the service, he will call me, let me know how much it will cost, and asks me if I want to go ahead with the repair. There is never any hidden charges, or unnecessary charges. If nothing needs to be done, he tells me that. Very trustworthy, respectful, and honest!

It's rare (in my experience) to find auto shops as straightforward as they are here. Every experience I have had with them so far has been fantastic. They take the time to explain what's going on, what they're doing, and what my options are so I can make informed decisions about my vehicle. All around great people and a great shop!

Every time we take our vehicles to Tuffy, Rob goes the extra mile. His work is excellent and the prices are reasonable. My husband brought his 2008 vehicle in with over 350,000 miles and now my husband is telling me that it's running like new! Thank you, Rob!

I have been really pleased with this Tuffy Tire & Auto Service Center (i.e., Rob and crew). I took my truck to them last year to install a suspension upgrade (heavier springs and Old Man Emu shocks) and they were happy to take care of it for me. The estimate was accurate and the work was done within schedule. A year later and all is great with my suspension.I recently took my truck back to get new tires. Again, the estimate was accurate and the work was done with the quality and timeliness that I experienced last year. It's refreshing to find a service center that delivers consistent quality workmanship, making it easy to trust them with the things I cannot do myself.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment

Had a great experience at Tuffy Tire and Auto Service Center. They were able to give me in and provide service the same day. They kept me informed the whole time. It was a wonderful experience. I found my new service shop.

I hardly ever write a review or take a survey; this is my 2nd time. Rob and Amanda are truly amazing; customer service priceless; which we are missing nowadays, timely, personable, and of most importance Rob will go above and beyond to do the service requested right! and this was my first visit. A lady there needs to get fired. She was wearing a pink shirt with black hair and glasses. It was 3:45 and they close at 4:00 and we needed coolant for the car and she says they are closing early. The doors are locked, wont let us in, and wont even answer the question. She comes out and says she wont do it, just know i am the persons child and the lady gives me a bad look and i started crying. Thank you!

Amazing experience here! Super friendly! Super fast! Super reasonable!We took our car by with no idea what was going on. We were kept up to date throughout the day during diagnostics and later repairs.This team has really gone above and beyond to make sure our experience was nothing short of amazing!We never plan on car trouble, but it s great to have a place to turn when the need comes up.

Rob and team were fabulous! We have a 1990 Ford F150 that needed a few things and after calling a few places that wouldn t even work on it, he agreed to help and we had it towed to Tuffy. He was helpful, knowledgeable, fair and communicated well throughout the entire process. Would highly recommend.

Crew here is amazing, I tried working on my vehicle for the 2nd time in a row and they got me out of trouble, very knowledgeable and kind. Fast and efficient.. Definitely going there on my next encounter.

I took my car here for the first time for an oil change. The employees couldn't have been nicer. I recommend scheduling an appointment, but they were able to get my car in without one. I was impressed by what happened during my visit. When the employee brought out my cabin and engine air filters for me to see to determine if I wanted them replaced, he pointed out that whoever changed the cabin air filter last had installed it incorrectly. It was apparently installed sideways and upside down, which bent and crushed it (which was very evident even to my untrained eye). He said he could replace it if I wanted, but suggested I take it back to the installer and see if they would replace it for free. He said he would make notes on my printed record specifically for the other company. I appreciated this gesture of honesty and forthright communication. I will return here as a customer.(note : I did take my car right then back to the original place who did change the filter for free, but would not reimburse me for the labor fee of $67 despite the fact that the new manager admitted I should not have charged that because the install literally took 3 minutes)

Where to start! I'm a first time customer at Tuffy. Firstly, I had an exceptional experience throughout. I brought my Ford Expedition in for a failure in my rear air suspension, rear struts and failed air compressor. Yeah not cheap!! I called all Ford dealerships in the area to get it repaired and of course they were all booked out with the earliest opening a week out. So after calling a few local auto repair shops, Rob at Tuffy was the first to truly listened to my issues. He was able to give me a quote on repair, not an estimate like the other two but an actual figure. There were a few setbacks with getting parts, not something really in their control but nothing they weren't able to remedy. My 2 day job turned into a 4 day job after shipping delays, apparently Ford only made struts for my vehicle(no after market struts) and a reorder of a new part that broke after install. I was updated constantly and reassured that it would be taken care of. Rob and Paul stayed late Friday and Saturday to finish it up and nailed it. Also the Tuffy 24 month, 24,000 mile warranty on parts and labor is a big plus. I'm on day 2 of after my repair and my SUV rides better than before. I will definitely be going back for all my auto needs.

Rob is awesome!! He will take care of your car like it s his own. He will not ever take advantage of you or over charge you. I will never go anywhere else! I took my car in to check brakes and other issues. He was very honest about what i needed and what i did not need. He came in below the outrageous quote of the previous car care center. He performed the worked in a timely manner. He called and updated me regularly. He is my new mechanic! Oil change, tire rotation,fluid replenish.... While I was waiting, I thought of this slogan...TUFFY....Trust Us For Fifteen Years...and going! That is the time we've been in Indian Land. I've read a lot of reviews on different social media posts and nine out of ten complain about the experiences they've had at different businesses in the area. I've always received excellent service and fair pricing from Rob Hunt and his staff of experienced mechanics. The best and so convenient... Located right on 521 close to rte 160. The technicians and crew at Tuffy Ft. Mill are hands down, absolutely the best in the automotive service & repair business. I've been taking my cars to them since 2007. They are honest and fair and extremely knowledgeable and experienced. I drive a 2005 Chevy Tahoe Z71 and they take great care of my truck. Paul Rozema (sp) knows these vehicles very well which gives me a good piece of mind driving a late model truck. Rob is outstanding and manages the shop very well. I was traveling with my sister and her three kids because of a family emergency when we got a flat tire. The people at Tuffy helped us as best they could. The tire couldn t be patched, but they got the spare on and call a shop down the street that could get us a new tire quickly. They really made what could have been an awful situation not so bad.

Came in for an oil change and got charged $94.82.. Um hello I usually change my own oil but didn't have the time today and it costs me $30 for full synthetic with oil filter.. Then I asked if they added air into my tires and he said yes and that my tire light will go off in 10 miles.. BS stopped by gas station to check my tires only one was correct pressure all the rest where + - 10psi under.. Would not recommend this place to anyone

High price.. low on staff.. not up to Mark on service. Not worth. Spent $125 for just an oil change and they didn t do anything additional other then a $30 oil change..Not going to come back ever.

I was so excited to find a place to service my Porsche Cayenne for very reasonable costs. I asked for quotes on line and they called me the next day to confirm the model I had to give me the most accurate quote. They did a great job and I will be back.

I took my vehicle in for a rear strut replacement estimate. Although I did not have the suggested repairs done, I have to say the service advisor Rob was exceptionally nice and helpful. I'd definitely use this repair shop in the future.

I enjoyed my first visit to Tuffy for an oil change. The desk clerk was pleasant and I even met the manger/owner! Very clean and efficient. They offer different options of service and not just the 19.95 quick special. My car needed a belt replaced and I had break line leak. The staff was very friendly and took care of my car. I just recently moved down from Chicago. Finding a good mechanic is harder then finding a good wife. Lucky for me this is a good mechanic.

Good people, fast service and normally you can find coupons online // update not sure if it s new management or something but they ve jacked up prices (tried to charge me $50 per filter when they re $12 online, $200 for a new belt when they re $15 online and I can do myself, etc.) will not be coming back.

Have been into Tuffy's multiple times over the years for various reasons and its always been a great experience. The staff is very kind, responsive, and transparent. I live just across the border in NC and had to get an inspection so I took my car to another service center which informed me I had a leak in my coolant system (quoted me $200 for a repair). Called Tuffys immediately and they told me to bring my car in later that afternoon. Tuffys hooked my car up to conduct a pressure test to find out where the coolant was leaking from. Later that afternoon they called me telling me that it had been hooked up to pressure for a few hours and no leak was found, and that they topped off my coolant reservoir (all totally free of charge). These guys are so trustworthy, and would rather do things the right way than make a few extra bucks. Cant recommend this place enough.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I've been here a few times and everyone has always been extremely nice and very professional. I went today to see about getting a headlight bulb replaced and was told the labor would be 1 hour and cost would be $149. That may be reasonable for someone else's vehicle, I know some can be a bit more complicated than others. I thought to myself, let me check out AAA to see what they say. Well it took less than 5 minutes for my bulb to be replaced in the parking lot of AAA by one of the technicians. This leads me to believe if Tuffy will overprice the time it takes to replace, a headlight,, what else might they be dishonest regarding. Will likely never get my service again.

I went into Tuffy today to get my AC serviced. I got an "evacuate and recharge" and when I left the air was colder than it's been in two years. I should have done it sooner. The owner and service manager were johnny on the spot from start to finish. As a woman I am always a little anxious when I have to have my car worked on and they treated me with the utmost respect and completely put me at ease. Service was outstanding. I highly recommend Tuffy and will go here for as long as I live in the area.
