We are new to Fort Mill. Sun City Auto quoted about $50 for a brake check on a 2020 Acura. They said brakes were fine (6 mm of pad left, get new pads at 3 mm). Then they spent about an hour troubleshooting two noises and did NOT charge us. First, they traced a noise under the hood to a fan when the A/C shuts off. The noise was barely noticeable but we wanted to make sure nothing was wrong. Everything under the hood was good. Second, there was a noise from the frame/suspension when going over bumps, but only once in a while. They put the car on the rack and said everything underneath was good. They couldn't recreate the noise so when we went to pickup the car, the mechanic rode around with us while we drove to recreate the noise, but couldn't. They said whatever it is was not an issue because everything in the inspection checked out. They were honest, friendly and good at their work. We found our new mechanic.

I had googled ratings for a reputable, reliable and trustworthy automotive repair. Sun City is truly a five star place. Ronnie and the team were knowledgeable, helpful and understanding.They took great care of my 2004 Toyota Highlander knowing I want to get another 100k miles. My timing belt was replaced along with a new power steering hose which they found was leaking. They needed to keep my vehicle for four days and graciously provided me with a loaner vehicle at day three. I feel Sun City is a place of integrity. I would highly recommend.

New to the area and always wary of trying a new mechanic; these guys were excellent. Responsive and honest throughout the process, very reasonable pricing, and prompt service. Had a bad tie rod evidently repaired shoddily a few months back, but Sun City was able to diagnose and repair the issue (and realign the wheels) in a matter of hours and we were back on the road the same day.

Called to schedule some well overdue maintenance, and was not disappointed! I was scheduled to drop off my car within the week. Same day of drop-off they called with my estimate, which ended up being two cents off from my final charge. They had the list of things that could be done, but did not push either way on what I chose to have done. Very professional, as well as very reasonably priced. I am relatively new to the area and had been struggling to find a mechanic shop that I trust to do good work and not overcharge. My search is over!

Sun City Automotive is the best repair service in York County and I m sure I could go further out! I had what I thought was a major issue with my 2012 Ford Edge! They diagnosed the problem, had to order the parts and had my vehicle back on the road in less than two days!Great service, reasonable charge and great people from the office through the shop! I would highly recommend them for your automotive repair! I may add Ronnie is your guy

Got a diagnostic test from this shop. Did not end up getting repair done there (needed new transmission, ended up trading in my car instead) but was very pleased with the friendliness, professionalism & transparency with this shop. I spoke to Ronnie and he was very helpful and kind. If I ever need some mechanical help in the future, I ll definitely reach out to them.

Had my seasonal A/C system to make sure it sok. Always better to check when it 75 degrees then110 degrees on the 4th of July holiday.Ronnie is always very happy to meet my scheduling needs and does. Chris the tech did a thorough complete check of hardware and refrigerant in less then 30 min and I was out the door. Thanks for the superior service SCA!!!!!! Tom

If i could rate Sun City Automotive 100 starts I would. This i is a business that has integrity and authenticity. What they say they will do is what they get done. My car was not operating. It had horrible lurches in the engine and was essentially undriveable. The mechanics at Sun City could not find the problem and called in mechanics FROM OTHER GARAGES to help evaluate the problem, along with calling on the manufacturer. This car is a 28 -year-old classic so getting parts was difficult, analyzing it on a computer was difficult, it was a mess that just made no sense. Sun City had it in their garage for 6 MONTHS! They never gave up!Finally they discovered the key to the problem and I now have it back in its own garage again, just waiting to drop the top on the first sunny day and take it for a spin!I will never use anyone else to work on our cats. SUN CITY IS THE VERY BEST.

Fantastic experience! Came highly recommended from other people in town. We have an old 1986 pick up truck that we bought and they replaced and repaired all of the air-conditioning system as well as other minor leaks and issues that the truck had. Would highly recommend for future service. Great job!! I had my jeep towed to Sun City, where they found that ants had invaded my car. It had been sitting a while, so no huge surprise. Since I was unable to get anyone to go down and spray it (I'm in a wheelchair), I called Sandy and begged her to send someone out and fill it with Raid, and I would pay the labor for it. For the next 2 1/2 months, I called repeatedly, leaving voice mails and messages, but never receiving a call back. Finally, I was able to talk to a young man who contacted Sandy and called me back. I could tell he was uncomfortable, but he said that the management at SC refused to work on my car, so I needed to have it towed somewhere else. BTW - they were terrific when Brian was there, but when he left, it all when down the toilet. My star is for his assistance and communication. NEVER take your car there.

I keep on having a low tire pressure light come on, took it in on the morning and they found a nail in the left rear. They plugged it for me which was great since I was leaving in 2 days to go up North for the holidays!!As always a great experience at Sun City!!

Be sure to check what you ve paid for! 65 year old lady had 4,000$ worth of work performed. Another shop told her some of the parts weren t even replaced! Even showed me the original part number on the vehicle! -1 Star if was an option!

I've taken my wife's FJ Cruiser and my 2008 Ridgeline to these guys and will continue to use them going forward for any repair/maintenance needs. Very thorough and the work is excellent. Highly recommended!

This is the best garage I have ever dealt with. Their prices are very reasonable and their work is second to none. Their staff is very knowledgeable and honest. You won't find that at a car dealership. I have been a customer for years and wouldn't think about taking my care anywhere else. I took my daughter s 2015 Jeep Compass to get the A/C checked out because it was blowing only hot air. They fit me in to their busy schedule and diagnosed the problem. The A/C needed basically an entire replacement from the compressor to the condenser etc! They were more than fair and honest on the cost including labor/parts etc! I dropped it off the following Monday at 8:30am and they had it up and running like new that same day! Very thankful to find a good honest and reputable repair shop in Fort Mill!! They are the best!! Being a new resident of Fort Mill I searched for recommended auto repair shops in the area. I used auto repair shop reviews and word of mouth from others and Sun City Automotive appeared to be the most recommended for honesty and reliability with qualified auto technicians. My first contact was with Bryan who was most polite and understood my concern about finding the right auto repair shop to take care of my three vehicles for the long term. I had oil & filter changed, new battery, new tires and alignment done.Unfortunately there was an issue with the new tires put on my car. Sun City Automotive recognized this issue and immediately took action and took care of it to my complete satisfaction.I would highly recommend Sun City Automotive for your auto maintenance needs, think I have found the right company to take care of mine.Gene ONealServices: Tires, Wheel alignment, Battery, Oil change

I stopped by the shop on a referral - I talked to Sandy who was very helpful and courteous and assured us that we could get our car in for a full brake job within a couple of days as we were leaving for a trip to Maine. We brought the car in wed. morning and it was ready by noon. Job well done at a reasonable price. We will be using Sun City in the future . I would recommend this business . Thank youService: Brakes

Had my 1969 Camaro serviced by SunCity Auto. Thanks to Chris and John for the great work and customer service. There are not many places to service a 69 Camaro and SunCity is on the top of the list for many reason. They really know how to service cars. I ve been receiving automotive repairs and service at Sun City Automotive since moving to Fort Mill. Service manager John and owner Chuck have been great. Their pricing has always been fair, and their work preformed has always been top notch. I have been here with the check engine light on and they diagnosed it and it was a turbo charge repair. They ordered parts and fixed it in 3 days.After repair Car run s amazingly well, better than before the repair.Thank you Chuck and his team.200% reliable
