Long story short: This place is great. If you go, talk to MACK at the desk. Honest about the work that needed to be done, able to walk me through every step of the process, and set expectations of what I needed now vs later. I was dreading getting the work done but he made the process simple and painless. The whole team here is great and worth going to if you need tire service!Short story long:I ve been putting off getting brakes/tires replaced and it came back to bite me. I came here because I had a good experience with tire replacement before (and free air!).Mack walked me through what I came in for, but also did a full assessment. His first words were I m not trying to upsell you. He was friendly and explained what I needed now vs what could wait.After the assessment, he mentioned things I that I didn t tell him but I knew needed to get repaired. He was through and not pushy.He made the whole process easy. But that s the same experience I had before. I m glad I came back here to get the work done and will be back in the future.

I needed some work done on my car but i wasn't sure exactly what I needed. Ozzy and Mary Beth were both very helpful and polite. They answered my questions and my car got done quickly and is running great. I will definitely be back with any future problems.

Scheduled appointment for front brake service. Took day off from work to get it done. Got to store, walked in, and the gentleman said we can t do it, your truck is too long .I drive a stock, non-lifted, crew cab ford f350 not a limousine. This is a tire and brake shop that can t do tires and brakes due to their lift limitations. Not sure how that works. I figure since their core business is tires and brakes, they could at least use a couple jacks to do routine services.Attached a pic of my truck to show what they considered too large.Very very disappointed.

This place Cannot do rear drum brakes! This is a Tires and Brakes place thar is incapable of diagnosing, repairing, or replacing rear drum brakes. I was hearing a grinding sound coming from my brakes. This place replaced my front brakes (pads and rotors) for $520, and told me the rear ones were perfectly fine. The next day I was able to determine the grinding was actually coming from my rear brakes, which are metal-to-metal. They were either unable to see something very obvious, or just plain lied to me (telling me my rear brakes are perfectly fine) because they are incapable of working on rear brakes at all. I wasted a lot of time, and experienced a lot of confusion because they wouldn t tell me from the beginning that they do not work on rear drum brakes. Once this place finally acknowledged the rear drum brakes were shot (I asked them to open the drums so we can look at them together), they referred me to another shop that can do rear drum brakes and said this other place would take care of me . The other place quoted me $600 to do the brakes, and the take care of me just meant they would examine the brakes for free.

Mary Beth, the manager from PepBoys around the corner moved here and I'm so grateful. She's amazing. Great service, honest, quick, and reasonable. What more can you ask for!? I typically service my vehicles on my own, but for anything I can't, or won't do, I'm coming here!

Got to work this morning to find a screw in my tire. These guys have done some work for my fianc� so I made sure to stop by on my way home. Super friendly staff and exceptional service!Glad to have them in the neighborhood because you never know when something will go wrong. A quick patch to fix it and I ll be on my way!

Went here expecting the normal service but instead I was treated like family and had some of the best experience I ve ever had! Ozzy and Mary Beth provided me with great conversation and outstanding service, I will definitely be back next time

This Mavis site is awesome. Beautiful waiting area for the kids, very professional staff, service was quick and pricing was good. Had 4 new tires put on my Kia Sorento + balancing and alignment, as well as oil change. Top notch. Will not be going anywhere else for any type of car service from now on.Edited to reflect that we came back today with the mini-van before a road trip. Took care of everything, new tires (great price) oil change, alignment. Great service from Mack and the crew. We won t be going anywhere else for service

Got the absolute best service & prices here! This shop has staff with integrity, knowledge & kindness. They gave me better prices than I found ANYWHERE else! Charlie was great, he answered all my questions and when I left and another popped into my head I called and the lady at the desk had all the answers I needed, too. Super nice people.I'm so glad I found them. We'll be back!

I found Mavis Tires & Brakes to be very affordable and customer friendly. I would give this business TEN stars if possible. I highly recommend this business if you are looking for a honest company and to save money!

Mack did a great job for me when I needed another tire replaced. He and his team worked quickly and did a quality job. I drove 45 minutes to get to this shop and there are 3 other Mavis locations closer but this type of service is worth it to me. To give you an idea how Mack treats customers, someone pulled up to the free air machine and Mack went out because he suspected the air compressor was not working. He told the gentleman to just pull up to the open bay door and Mack directed his techs to help.

Always have an awesome experience at mavis. I ve been going to mavis for a few years. I recently moved, and luckily there was one right down the street. I have brought my vehicles to this location 3 separate times. They are very quick, honest, and informative. Today I brought my car in to have a tire repaired. The repair was quick, and they didn t even charge me for it. Their customer service is top notch! Will definitely keep using this location for all of my service needs!

We've 2 experiences with Mavis in Tega Cay so far, and both have been great. The most recent was fantastic, with them being able to patch and plug our immediately, and at a cost that was very affordable. I plan to take our vehicles here for all tire and brake service needs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

My brother was the first one to do business with this shop and we have been here ever since! They have good people working here and communicate what's needed and what can be done! They always make it work! James is very helpful and him and his employees know their stuff. Definitely recommend

The experience I had was amazing, the service was quick and efficient and Charlie was amazing as well. He let me know what exactly was wrong with my car whilst working on it because of a few things I didn t even know was wrong. And now my car is working as it was when I first got it. TALK TO CHARLIE YALL.

These guys have been great! My dad s truck needed work done and they were helpful, patient and informative. Mack took time to explain what was needed and what could wait. They are amazing and as a mom I feel so safe having them work on my car!

MaryBeth and Team were absolutely amazing! Honest, friendly, efficient with exceptional customer service. This shop is neat and clean. I bought 4 tires, I had an issue with a tire sensor and was met with immediate care and attention. My car was taken care of by MaryBeth and her team. I've worked retail for over 20year and You should be proud to have her as your manager!Thank you MaryBeth for taking care of not only my vehicle but me as a customer!!

Very friendly and helpful staff! My car had a rough vibrating noise and the mechanic, Dakota, identified the problem and clearly explained to me what was going on. The issue was resolved quickly. I highly recommend this location.

This place is awesome! I stopped after church when my tire was quickly losing air. They plugged a hole in my tire as a courtesy, and did not charge me. Super nice technicians, and very efficient!

First time customer and will certainly be back quickly for tires on my wife's suv as well. Marybeth & Charlie were awesome and delivered great customer service!!Just purchased this used truck with incorrect rated tires on it, they quickly found the right tire for my Titan XD, ordered in within a day and installation service/appt was quick and smooth. Plus they look out for their customers on cost vs value, which is rare this day in age!

I had an issue with my tire losing air, and Mavis Tires came to the rescue! Mack, the person who assisted me, provided exceptional service. He was knowledgeable, efficient, and went above and beyond to fix the problem. Thanks to Mack and the Mavis Tires team, I'm back on the road worry-free. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with Mavis. After I got 4 new tires, my TPMS sensor wouldn't go off. I took it back to the shop two more times to see if they could figure out what was wrong. The first time, they said they fixed it. The second time, they said my sensor was broken but they don't know which one and they don't fix that stuff there. The problem is that my sensor worked fine until they changed my tires. Whoever changed my tires broke my tire sensor. I reached out to customer service, because I wanted to give them a chance to make things right before leaving a negative review...but I never heard back. I would NOT recommend taking your car here. They will overcharge you, break your stuff and not take responsibility. Stay away

Excellent prompt service! Got a screw in my tire, they fixed it in less then 30 minutes, very reasonably priced too. Very clean and comfortable waiting room, nice personnel. Great to have them in the neighborhood.
