Chris is the man you want to do your transmission work!! Took my time finding who I wanted to rebuild my 4L60E and everyone kept telling me to take it to him and I see why!! He actually took the time to figure out what caused my transmission to go out, let me know the problem and fixed it. Didn t just build my transmission good enough to get it going but built it with upgrades and to last. Couldn t recommend theses guys enough!! Thanks again man!!

Really great guy. I broke down on power tour and he sold me the parts I needed to get back going for a great price. He even called back the next day to make sure we got it back on the road.

Took my 78 Camaro to Chris and his team. I was having shifter problems. They looked it over. They advised the shifter was just getting old. When we picked the car up they went over the shift operations. No cost for diagnostic. A very friendly and professional shop. If I need transmission work in the future Chris will get my business. If I could give him a 0 I would, my husband paid Chris over 2k for him to rebuild our transmission on our truck and after he received the money he told us he will start working on it. After weeks at his shop we called him to check the status of the repair he went on vacation instead. Beware !@@@@!!!! Go elsewhere!!!

Went to their shop to get my transmission checked . Chris was very professional and is keeping me in the loop throughout the whole process. I will give update when completed .UPDATE : Rebuilt Transmission . Excellent ,quality work and top notch communication . Great pricing .

It is 07/2020 (Car Shield denied my claim) this made my life and theirs difficult. Type: Trailblazer 2002 LTZ 4WD. Transmission type: 4l60E. Vortec 4.2 I6. Update: Car still running really good as of 2023. No more updates after this one very good shop to go to. Ask them to use high stall 2200-2800 torque converter With all extreme high performance parts. That will allow your transmission to last forever. In the year 2002 Chevy had no clue how to make basic transmissions only performance. STAY AWAY FROM CAR SHIELD they are a scam...

Don't waste your time with anyone else in Florence. Chris is the nicest guy and better priced than any of the other transmission places. His garage is further out than other places but worth the trek out there. I will be back for any future transmission work and more. Thanks so much Chris and Co ! A +++
