Bought from them back in October. Paid $4200 for a dodge that isn't even worth $2000. Had to replace the radiator, hoses, flush entire evap system, thermostat, o2 sensors, catalytic convertor and the mass air flow sensor. After being told they make sure the engine and transmission are solid. No they aren't. I don't recommendand won't buy from them again. Very disappointing you can't find honest people to do business with for vehicles.*Edit : no it wasn't driving correct when I bought it. I had to put new tires, breaks and rotors too, as soon as it was off the lot. The engine light was on, and I was told it was just a emission light.( gas cap) My fault entirely for choosing to purchase. Lesson learned the hard way.

I read the reviews and I understand the various opinions. I also know how to buy cars as I have bought A LOT of used and new cars over the years. I went to purchase a car for my daughter and the owners were the best salesmen ever! They were upfront and honest about the cars minor issues and I appreciated that. Understanding that I was buying a used car, cash upfront, as is, I knew what the deal was from the beginning. I will definitely go back! Not all used cars are going to be perfect, but the car I picked was perfect for my daughter.

My experience with the staff at A-1 was great, buying my own car for the first time went smooth and easy. I got lucky to be the first for a high desired car and they honored my appointment, and even helped me get the car off the lot as soon as possible as I m an out of town customer! All in all, wonderful place to do business.

So I was looking for a dealer to make a used car purchase for a vehicle that would work for commuting to work at 30 miles each way. I am always sceptacle when looking for a used car as you have to use common sense because you never know what you might be buying. It is not the responsibility of the dealer to put money into the car when they get it or make repairs as they buy these cars from other dealers as trade-ins. I met Angie and her husband at A-1 and couldn t have asked for two better people to deal with. They are two honest and down to earth people and didn t push me to one vehicle or another. I had to use my own instinct and common sense when checking these vehicles out. Also all these comments on here make me laugh hysterically. First off each vehicle is different from the next meaning different mileage, required maintenance, cosmetic shape etc. The vehicle I purchased was a 2006 Scion TC definetly not a hooptie as some on here called it. The vehicle was a diamond in the rough. Drives like it is brand new. Drove it to work and back Thursday and Friday. Saturday took it to my mechanic to have it checked out and bring it up to date on any required maintenance. Yes you do need to put money into a vehicle for maintenance or it will stop running on you like another comment I saw on here. Vehicle is mechanically sound. I got it an oil change, put new wipers on it, and got a fuel system and induction service done that ran about $350. Again yes part of required maintenance for the vehicle. I assumed this cost as an investment to my investment of the vehicle. The vehicle currently drives like new condition for under $3000 I paid.Angie and her husband are not like other dealers around town that probably would have tried to charge me double for the price of this car. I paid cash and don t have a car payment. I also laugh because my neghbor just purchased a new truck for $55,000 and his monthly payment is more than my mortgage payment. I will smile everyday I drive by him in my hooptie as he goes nuts when he gets a speck of dirt on his truck. Also if you base your decision on an investment for yourself on someone else s political or religious belief system then I feel even more sorry for you. The best part about this country is freedom and that includes freedom of where and what vehicle to buy. If you want you have the freedom to go to a dealer that supports the current administration running this country and If you are really lucky you might find a crack pipe or bag of cocaine in the vehicle at no extra cost. Oh wait the cocaine was at the white house (sorry). Feel free to not shop here as I will be sending them future business to make up for your loss.

We bought a Pontiac torrent and one week after we bought it it began overheating badly and took it to our friends who have a mechanic shop and it's a blown head and we need a whole new engine. They also told us that they could see where someone tried to bandage the issue with a bunch of stop leak and that the saler definitely new what the issue was and made an effort to hide it. We have a newborn son that we were stuck in the hot sun with for over an hour when the car they sold us left us stranded. It is what it is and we got it as is but wrong is wrong and we all answer for the things we do eventually..

My experience was one for the books. All of the staff are so caring. They are willing to help as much as possible. Hands down, I would encourage anyone looking for a great deal on a used car to go see these great people. Thank you A-1Auto Sales.

I had a really tight budget looking for a safe car for me and my daughter and Dominik and Angela were very helpful through my experience. I went to look at a car I saw online; they were very honest and upfront about the issues it had and we re happy to work with me to get them resolved. If you have cash, are on a budget, and want an honest and easy experience I highly recommend going to see them!

I took a ride on Sunday to look at what available on the lot. I ll leave it at that. The majority of the vehicles looked like something from the pick and pull junk yard. Their pictures on line were taken very strategically. They are literally $400 auction cars. Waste of time driving out there. If you like flat tires, dents, rust, torn up seats, even duct tape then this is your place. Some of those cars look like they haven t moved in months!

Prices shown on website are different from what your told in person,a couple of the vehicles I looked at appeared to have been pulled out of pick and pull junkyard after parts were sold off them, don't expect to haggle ANY on price, what's on the windshield is what you'll pay for one of these overpriced hoopties

The reason people hate used car dealers. I'll start this by saying I definitely share the blame here. I ignored my better judgement and trusted them when my gut said to run.Bought a mini van from them. Brian, the salesman kept saying over and over "That it just needs new tires, and that's all I know is wrong with it." Which instantly raised a red flag. But we liked the van and it was reasonably well priced. My mistake. Bought it as is. Nothing unusual. He repeatedly told me when I signed the papers and drove off the lot, I took it as is. Another flag. My fault again. Driving home with the car has slips in the transmission. My heart sank. Did not happen during the test drive. On the route he directed me on. Then I stopped to get groceries. Car would not start at first. Had to goose it to start it. Always have to now. Did not know it did that as he started it while I was inside. Two weeks later the thermostat went. Got them on the phone once after purchase as they said they knew a mechanic that could do repairs cheaply if something should arise. Called for his name. Said they would call me back with an appointment for me. Never did. Every time after they ignored my calls and did not return messages. But answered the phone when called from another number. First ring. Offered to buy it back at less than half they sold it to me for.Everyone jokes about and hates used car salesman because of people like this. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Be warned. Learn from my mistake. Do not trust them.

I bought a 2004 Dodge Durango from them in late June . IT was making a noise . They said it was the exhaust. 5 in a half weeks later it stales with my 2 year old grand daughter in it crossing 501. Check engine light came on . Took it to auto zone to have light checked computer said lifter springs gone out. Which is making my spark plugs miss dire. Called owner he told me i was wrong and to let his mechanic look at it which is obe of the people who told me it was the exhaust. I told him it wont stay running and he needs to fix it. He told me that they would fix it at a reduced price. I said no thank you. See you in court . They knew what was wrong with my suv when i bought it. I'll be seeing them in court.DO NOT BUY FROM THEM . THEY ARE CROOKS .

I saw a vehicle that I was going to check out and buy my son with cash. When I walked up to the door and saw those signs, it changed my mind. I guess people don't think that their personal opinions can hurt their business.
