I had my water pump replaced today. Ernie took his time to show me where the antifreeze was leaking on it and explained how the leak was an indicator that the water pump and belt would eventually need replacing. When he took his time to do this, I felt confident in knowing that I had brought my car to the right place for service and the time to replace the pump was not long at all. Megan was very courteous towards me and even informed me of a recall on my vehicle which the dealership had not informed me of when I had a replacement part done last week. I am very pleased with their service today and will be going back for additional services as needed in the future! I highly recommend this auto service!

Had my car towed here to get looked at they let it sit a day and refused to work on it because the tow driver said he towed my car several times what that has to do with what I m hiring them to do anything else other than electric is not their business that s not what I asked you to look at and the girl at the front desk lied and said they looked at my car my car never left the same spot horrible people

I ve used these folks many times over the years across multiple vehicles. Their estimates are always fair. Their service is always friendly and they get the job done. Truly, the only times I have not used them in the last few years is when a particular repair was covered under the manufacture s warranty. Otherwise, they are my go to, and have been my go to for many years. Oil changes, tires, major issues with the engine, exhaust, AC, etc- they handle it.What I especially like is their willingness to break a repair down and explain what is truly needed today vs what can wait. They are great at helping prioritize, assess risk of not repairing, and making a smart decision with your money. I highly recommend them.

These guys are simply the best, everytime I have a problem with my rebuilt Z28 Camaro I take it straight to this shop and every time I get it back it runs better than the last time. They don t hire anyone who isn t fully ASE certified and it s unbelievably different, and more professional, than a typical place like Goodyear or Firestone. I will always take any vehicle I own here for any future problems and I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who wants their car fixed right the first time, in a timely manner, and backed up with a warranty. If anyone from Broad River Auto is reading this I sincerely thank you because I get to drive my fun car everyday and wouldn t be able to without y all!!

The absolute best experience you will receive at an auto repair shop! Amazing customer service and great prices. They've fixed my car multiple times in a less than a day and explained what was going on and what they repaired! Will only be going to this shop from now on. Thank you

My daughter tried for weeks to get into the local Hyundai dealer. They never even answered the phone for either her or my husband. When she called Broad River they were very responsive and got her in right away. We were afraid it was going to cost thousands because she had a lot going on with her car. They were very reasonable and only fixed what needed fixing. She got her car back that day. She said they were very nice also. I would highly recommend Broad River to anyone!

Broad River Auto Repair is the most trustable auto repair in Columbia I have dealt with. Fair prices, super experienced mechanics, and a friendly staff. I trust these guys more than any other shop I have brought my car too.

This is by far one of the best repair shop. Their customer service is a 10. We took our Kia Forte 2013 to them thinking I had an issue and they said, You don't. So honest and not looking to jerk someone around. They could of said yes this is wrong and that is wrong to make some money BUT THEY DIDN'T. You can feel the family love time you walk in the building. If your in the Columbia Richland area please check them out you won't be disappointed...

I am so thankful for the awesome customer service, professionalism, and empathy Megan showed from start to finish with my service. I was so frustrated I had been recommended to 3 other repair shops and no one could help. I called and got her knowledgeable and friendly voice on the phone. She offered me a ride home and back to the shop once repairs were done. I was equally impressed with Darryl when he called to let me know what the issue with my car was, explained where I could understand and did so in a timely manner. I am impressed with Broad River Auto Repair and will most definitely patron them again.*2-28-2022 I spoke to Ernie on Friday about my car not cranking properly and my sensors were not working. He told me to bring it in on Monday morning. I dropped my car off @ 7:45a and it was fixed by 11:30a, my battery was replaced and sensors working again. I would absolutely recommend this place as they are professional, efficient, and give great customer service. We all need to call out and celebrate the great auto shops that keep us all rolling along. Broad River is top shelf in my book. We were in the middle of a road trip and started having issues with the power steering on our 2005 Subaru. Broad River worked us into the schedule and got us back up and running same day. I had prepared myself for sticker shock but was happily surprised when I saw the bill. Rather than replace the pump the mechanic simply cleaned it all up, changed the fluid, confirmed there were no leaks and we were back in business. Honest repair shops are THE BEST! I highly recommend this family-owned business to anyone. I live in Maryland, but I was in Columbia, SC to pick up my daughter from college, when my Suburban blew the water pump. Paul, Ernie and Megan did everything they could to replace the water pump at a fair price. This business is a gem! I used to be a mechanic 25 years ago, and I am very critical of anyone who works on my cars. These folks were incredible to work with and they are fair. They could have easily take advantage of me, being from out of town, but they did not. Highly recommended!! I recently used Broad River for repairs on my car and I can t recommend them highly enough! I am a college student and a few days before I was set to leave for winter break my car wouldn t start. I decided on Broad River auto repair and the whole process was easy and fast. The needed repairs were explained in detail over the phone and they assured me I had nothing to worry about as far as getting the car back before I left for break. They saved our vacation! Driving down to Savannah, GA we heard a horrible noise and had to pull off the highway. Lucky we were very close to Broad River Auto Repair, I called and they said they could take a look. So happy with Paul, our technician, he found the issue, showed us and gave us options. In just a couple of hours we were back on the road. It's horrible when your vehicle develops issues on vacation because you don't know the area, we were so lucky to find them! Very thankful to them. Very Professional, affordable, and efficient! Earnie knows his stuff and does great work on my vehicle. I've had him clean up bad work behind my old mechanic wasn't overcharged and got the job done right! charged me 200$ for a job another shop quoted me $400 on...My go to shop! Highly recommended

Excellent service.I have now been to them three times. Brake job, windshield wiper transmission replaced, and AC fixed. They are always professional, fast, and do excellent work. They are honest, and their prices are fair. I highly recommend!

Extremely Nice Staff. Had my truck towed there after it broke down on us on our family roadtrip.We we're 200 miles away from home. They turned a fustrating situation into a convenient one. Between Broad River and AAA I couldn't have stayed sane without them! They kept me informed and allowed me to hold my truck there until I was able to arrange for pick-up. Thanks again!

I went here to get my headlight replaced, and they went above and beyond for me. They noticed some corrosion on my battery and a line that was nearly disconnected. He made sure to show me what he was talking about and cleaned off the corrosion for me. He also noticed a break light out and replaced that after I had already paid. I would definitely recommend this place and will be back!

The staff at BRA are wonderful to work with. Quality work is all you get from them. I have know them for 20 years and I never had to go back for work they done on my fleet vehicles or personal truck. If you take your vehicle somewhere else then you are not getting the best service there is to get on vehicle repairs or service.

I have my major maintenance work completed here. I do the minor work myself. The owner does honest quality work, at honest prices. I have never called for a quote like the other reviews, so I can not speak for that aspect of this business. I went there from a referral from a friend. In person the owner is quote personable, professional and polite. I would imagine all mechanics get lots of calls a day asking for quotes that lead no where. The waiting room is basic and clean, with free coffee. Also when ever I have dropped off a car they have usually had a full bay (good sign to me).

This team did an excellent job. Not only was the the service great but the quality of the work was amazing. My alternator went out. Not only did they repair my car but they paid enough attention to set the time on my clock in the car. Highly recommend this team

We broke down yesterday after buisiness hours trying to evacuate Myrtle Beach with our six kids. I'm so thankful if it had to happen it happened near Broad River Auto! Ernie went the extra mile to get our truck fixed and get us back on the road by the time we had to check out of our hotel. Yesterday, Don did an awesome job giving us a tow and stopping by the hotel to let us unpack stuff for the night. I cannot recommend them enough! Thank you!
