Had a bad water leak in Silverado windshield. However, Safelite required that they install their new windshield rather than a reseal. With their quick service, it was worth it. Heavy rain last night, and floor mats were dry in the morning. Very friendly folks.

Irritatingly, I had numerous poor experiences with this Safelite location for the same job that wasted a lot of my time.I brought my car to a different Safelite location to replace my windshield after getting a large rock chip in it, but upon dropping my car off on the morning of my appointment (that I had set days in advance), I was told via phone call that they didn't have a windshield for my car, and it would take 3 days to arrive. First frustration.As I was on vacation, I had to move my appointment 10 days later to the Anderson location, and asked the lady at the call center if they could order a windshield in advance so we wouldn't have this problem again. She replied, "Oh, don't worry, we always order in advance." Right. I bring my car to Safelite on the morning of my appointment, and lo and behold they tell me that while I have an appointment for a windsheild replacement, they don't have a windshield for me and will need to order one. Second frustration.Fortunately, the guys that would have done the replacement offered to do a little repair for free, which was done really well and quite quickly. I asked if they could call me when they get a windshield to set another appointment, since they couldn't estimate when they would get a replacement, even on the scale of weeks or months. (Notably very inconsistent with the first location.) They told me they would. A few Sundays later, I got an automated text reminding me of an appointment for the following day, telling me to drop my car off before 9 AM. As it was Sunday, Safelite was closed, so I couldn't get in contact with anyone for clarification. So, just in case, I drop my car off the following morning before work, and try to call them during my morning break to see what's going on. I had to make three different phone calls, as they don't list the direct phone number to a specific Safelite location anywhere online, only to a call center or an automated response call system, so they needed to redirect me multiple times. Third frustration.Finally, I got in contact with the Anderson store, and I asked if I was getting a new windshield. I was told that it was an automated text that gets automatically sent every time my car goes through the step of a windshield ordering process. Who knows why it took them a week or more to start the ordering process. "So do you guys need my car for anything today?" "No." Fourth frustration.I pick my car up again and weeks later they call me and tell me that they finally have a windshield. I make an appointment, drop it off before work again, and grab it at the end of the day. They got it done with a genuine windshield, but the whole thing is crooked, some sealant is showing on parts of it, and it looks pretty terrible if you look closely. Fifth frustration, and the cherry on top.I was long out of patience and had no desire to interact with them further since the replacement works and doesn't leak at least. I never intend to return to this location, and I won't let any of my friends take their cars there either. I'm not sure if this is an issue specific to the Anderson location, but while the people I interacted with were nice, the organizational issues that completely plagued this experience were appalling. This was easily the worst experience I've ever had with a business as a customer.

I went to this location on 2/28/24...It was the first time that I had been there and I must say, the experience was great.The only issue that I have is that the small crack on my windshield is still visible even after repair. I was told that it is still visible... I believe that they fixed the problem, but I think I will be going back to this location in the near future to get a new windshield installed because being able to see that crack everyday, even after being repaired is going to drive me insane.

It was easy to file a claim directly on their website and make an appointment. They were friendly in the office, and my car was within a few hours. They did a great job.

Not too many businesses get five stars, but those that do, deserve it. The communication system between you and the company is efficient. Between text updates and emails, you always know what s going on.The warranty is far above standard. A window install from 2019 was incorrect and they covered the whole window and install. That s great customer service.The personnel stick to business. No chit chat or extraneous information. Just stick to business with a smile.The lobby in Anderson is comfortable and the bathroom is clean.I recommend Safelite for your window needs.

Went in for a replacement, upon leaving I noticed that the change jar( had about 40 bucks in change & bills) I had in my car IS NO LONGER INSIDE MY CAR. Not going back to make a big issue out of it being missing because I had received what I came for.Less than 2 months later having the same issue with the windshield i set up an appointment at a different location. Thinking my problems are over. Little did I know less than a week later I'd be having another issue with SAFELITE WINDSHIELD.At this point my time and money is being wasted so of course I'm not satisfied one bit

The technician was amazing! He did a wonderful job and was very courteous and professional. My issue was with the payment and in my attempts to pay it. The link the company sent to me to make payment for my deductible didn't work so I tried to log in online and that didn't lead me to a payment link either so I called this location to attempt to get the link resent to me and the woman there told me she couldn't resend it but that I could pay her with a credit card over the phone right now. I told her I'm not comfortable giving out credit card information over the phone. She asked if I could bring it to them now. I said no, I can't today but that I would one day next week. She then said to me "What day are you coming so you don't get sent to collections?" Excuse me??? It's literally been one day and I am the one making the attempts to make sure this gets paid but I'm threatened with collections? I said something along these lines to her and she said "I didn't threaten you with collections. I'm just saying that it can happen unless you give me a day you're coming in to pay." Still a threat.... but apparently not in her head. So be careful you aren't more than a day late paying them your deductible or you'll be sent to collections! BUYER BEWARE! And it's sad because this one person at one location is making a whole company look bad and I'm sure they don't deserve it. The owner of this location needs to re-examine their employee choices.... it's hurting their business. The payment has since been paid because the extremely helpful technician came back to get it from me since I'm not able to go today. The only reason he didn't get it when he was here yesterday is because I didn't realize he had left and he probably didn't even know if I was home. Not his fault.

I would not recommend this location. There is a lack of communication and organization and when asked to confirm and clarify information, the manager and staff blames the consumer to the extent that they will make fun of you.

The crew there did a great job on the back window of my truck. I've used Safelite for many years and no one else does a better job. The price was right as well. I drove over from GA. and this team was worth the trip. I belive it was Stephen who put my new window in on May 23rd at 1 pm. Thanks folks. My only concern was not being able to call the location directly to verify when my new window would be in. Automated customer service isn't complete customer support. Thanks folks.

The windshield makes a loud noise. Whooshing. But I haven't contacted them to fix it, I'm sure they would be happy to help. Very nice people here. My experience was quick and great. I scheduled online and was able to get my appointment the next day. I paid out of pocket. It's affordable without insurance so that was nice. Shop was clean and professional looking.

Job was well done in a much shorter amount of time they said it would be. They patiently worked with the insurance company. My only mild concern is the molding on the top part still isn't gone down. I don't like spaces. In my eyes, I see it clearly.UPDATE The molding is in place

The staff at the Anderson location were very professional. I made my appointment a couple days in advance, and I was able to get in and out within an hour for my cracked windshield. The manager at this location went above and beyond with his service! I had forgotten to ask them to save my parking pass stickers from my old windshield. Michael not only recovered them for me, but met up with me and delivered them so I wouldn t have to come all the way back out! If you need any windows replaced I highly recommend the Anderson location

I only called and spoke to a man about my passenger shattered side window. He was very nice. I couldn't understand, being one of the top businesses, I couldn't get my window fixed within a couple days. I was told a week was the soonest. So I went with a business that did it three days later. I guess being a top tier company I was expecting they could get to it faster, my mistake.

I was really scared to take my truck to safelite because I didn't know how much or if I was going to get played but, I was able to make an appointment on line and used a promo code to get 80 dollars off my total.They were very nice to me and it didn't take as long as the sight said. And I now have a brand new window that looks great. I very much would recommend safelite of Anderson,sc.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. they are very hard to get ahold of if you're trying to call them as this number goes to a random call center in any location. I got the run around to even speak to the manager at this location. I had my windshield repaired at this location and the very next day it failed and they expected me to pay out of pocket to replace the windshield. Absolutely horrible and i will never return to this location ever. Will be going any where else but here.

The technician was extremely rude to my husband when he brought his truck in for a warranty replacement. He became very hostile and went as far as putting his finger in my husband's face. We had to go to a district manager to have it made right.

Had a appointment for them to repair a leak that was covered by the warranty. I had everything ready, already got off work waiting on the technician. Done a lot of adjustment so I had to be there for the guy or the technician. Then got a call for a reschedule. I explained to the operator that called me that this was a leak this was not a replacement. So far it has rained one time two times and leak has went into the events and I still have to wait until July. Not very happy as of right now we will just have to wait and see how much damage has been done I will follow up after

I made my appointment over a week ago, and here we are on the day of my confirmed appointment. I'm sure the appointment was today, seeing as I have been getting multiple texts and emails to make sure I didn't forget. My email even this morning supplied me with the name of the guy coming to my home to replace my cracked windshield...but instead of him showing up, I get a phone call saying he had actually called out and would not be able to come. Instead of sending someone else, she asked if I could bring it to the actual store. A little disappointed, but I agreed. Then she said she would call me right back to confirm it was okay. She called back to tell me my replacement glass was not even there, nor in the next city, which to her was 'odd'...but to me it was inconvenient, unorganized, and unprofessional. With all the notifications sent out, you would think they know if there is a problem like not having the glass needed to replace my windshield. Even if the guy had come into work, there was no work to do! So now, I'm waiting on a call 'later this week, hopefully' to get the glass in and replace the one with the almost two week old crack. The lady even told me it was a common type...so fingers crossed they don't eff it up again. Annoying and unorganized. Period.

I needed my windsheild replaced after a rock hit it while driving down the road. I claimed it through my insurance and they came out to my job to fix what I though would only be a repair. My technician Mike explained to me that I would need my entire windshield replaced. He called and made an appointment for me for the following day. They came out and grabbed my keys from me and my windshield was replaced within the hour. Very professional and polite.

So I had my windshield replaced here. When I left a bug splattered on my windshield I used my windshield wiper fluid. It wouldn't work. Immediately called safe lite she wanted me to bring it back I couldn't as I was heading to an appt. She tells me it could just be that they didn't hook up the hose. She would have a technician call me. Never called. No big deal. I tried to hook it up myself couldn't find the hose. My husband got home tried to do it. He took a lot apart. We "thought" they had cut our hose. And we noticed 2 tabs were missing. So the next day after work and picking up the kids. I called safe lite. She got me to come in she was really nice btw. I get there. Explain everything they take it back. I said please let me see the windshield wiper fluid works before I leave. A gentleman comes and gets me and shows me it is hooked up. And they put the missing tabs back. He is the store manager. I can't remember his name if anyone knows it say it. I said great. I get in the car use the fluid and didn't work noticed it was leaking on the ground. So I go back inside..the same gentleman comes out to check it out. This nice fellow sent his technician he was training to get some tools. He sits on the ground taking the time with a laptop around his neck. He was getting ready to go home. He literally sat there and fixed my stuff. He did have some problems and had to do it 3 times lol ended up mixing hoses. But for him to actually care and make it right. I applaud them for this! Thank you to everyone at safe lite in Anderson off liberty Hwy!They also have different kinds of coffee. Little snacks sunny d and water available to everyone.

I have tried for DAYS to get in touch with an ACTUAL HUMAN at the Anderson location, hell ANY location, and the automated phone number listed will not allow it. I have used the app through my former insurance company many times in the past but apps and the internet is NOT the method of contact I need right now. I can't even speak to a human without driving across town and going into the office which is ridiculous. WHY are businesses becoming so cheap they refuse to have an option to speak to an actual person instead of a computer that couldn't possibly answer my question? I'd rather drive over an hour and a half to a different company's shop in Spartanburg to get my windshield replaced just because that's the only place that still has humans answering their phones!!! I know my little bit of money probably doesn't matter to you people but it does to me.
