Bob IMHO is the best street/race engine builder in the area, absolutely honest and direct, will give you a quote that is true, meticulous work that is spot on, and a true gentleman in all respects ( loves to give customers a guided tour of the shop so they understand all respects of his work ).Built me a supercharged screamer of a TR6 motor.Not many shops left like this!

I do almost all my own automotive work (brakes, suspension, exhaust, computer diagnosis, timing chains, water pumps, etc) for myself and family so I'm pretty knowledgeable. Occasionally I won't have the time to perform certain jobs so over the years I've brought many cars and trucks to Mason's. Every time I've brought vehicles here for work I have been treated well, I've felt they're honest and trustworthy, their work has always been done right, and their prices have always been fair.If you're looking for a mechanic I would definitely recommend them.

They did a brief inspection and let me know what my be wrong with my car. Unfortunately they were super busy. But I appreciated the time they took to help me address the concern i had.

The only place I trust to do high performance machine work and everyday tune-ups and service. I've known and trusted these people for more than 20 years. When you stop here you'll notice they are family run and treat you like family.

A good mechanic is worth his weight in gold! Whoever originally offered that bit of wisdom was speaking of Masons Auto in Scituate. No surprises, just quality, reliable auto service. Looking to refresh that tired motor in your muscle car, Masons does performance engine builds too.

Helped me out with a broken regulator in my window. Good service and were kind and polite. Something I find rare in times like these. I really appreciated how they took care of me. I felt respected.

Looking for the best in automotive engine work and maintenance? Bob Mason and his family business is a rare find. Known by all the locals and in racing circuits he still makes time to do inspections and the routine with the help of his son Nate and staff. Yes you can buy gas there too but the resl value is what goes on inside the shop.
