Nick s service is out of this world and exceeds the general expectations for mechanics everywhere. A while back I got into a situation where a tire shop over torque lock lug nuts on 4 rims. A different shop attempted to torch off, unfasten causing the lug nut to snap off. Nick explained to me how this could have happened and simply fixed it with a specialty socket set no unnecessary further damage needed & headaches. Honestly, it is because of this insight, fast thinking, and beyond his year s knowledge that I highly recommend Nick and American Speed Shop!

Nick"s phone # is the same , but location is now Washington Industrial Park in Coventry. Initially I was skeptical about all the positive reviews. However, after working on my car, I realized not only does Nick know his stuff , but is also a genuine good guy.

100% Would go to Nick for any exhaust issues that I have in the future. I will be a return customer for sure. He got me in same day and repaired a rattle that the BMW dealer was unable to figure out. Their option was to charge me for an entire new muffler. He fixed the rattle in about 20 minutes out the door. I am completely floored right now. Awesome experience. Service: Exhaust

Nick wants to make sure the job get done right and is very responsive l. He runs the whole shop alone and i must say he does go above and beyond to make sure you understand what your paying for. Great prices and great service. Thanks Nick!

Nick does nothing less than phenomenal! He s been a great help with the build on my Mustang. Reliable, honest, no BS mechanic. He fits me in at the latest convenience and he even replaced my hood free of charge when my visit was backed up! Always appreciate the time, effort, and professionalism. Incredibly professional and kind,I told them my vision for what I wanted and they made it a reality. Was looking for a good exhaust shop to finish up my exhaust and alot of places were hesitant or refused to do it. it required some modification to a portion of the exhaust. He took one look and told me he could do it, and it came out beautiful. sounds great and the welds are solid. I would be happy to come back again and refer out Nick s services! There are many shops out there that have upcharged me a lot. Nick is an honest mechanic and is good at what he does. Nick was honest and direct as a previous mechanic didn't diagnose my suspension issues correctly. Nick went through my car thoroughly and did a proper diagnostic and fixed all front end parts that needed to be fixed. He was professional and timely with the needed repairs. Nick took me in for an exhaust repair, no notice, no appointment, just called he said to come by. Nick s a hella down to earth kind dude and I will be returning for future auto repairs. It was fun hanging around and shooting the breeze with another fellow gear head. Clean, safe, and welcoming environment,10/10 would recommend and already referred friends and family.

Great place, did an awesome job on my car. The dude is a great man very friendly and just overall awesome. Went in fully prepare to pay a ridiculous amount just for the service I wanted on my car but from one quick look at my car he was able to tell me the problem (which ended up being more minor than I thought) and fixed it almost immediately. Seriously, very nice guy, great mechanic who won t try and charge you way more than the actual worth. Totally recommend him over any other place.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Nick is the very best mechanic I have ever used and I have been through many. He is 110% completely honest and professional, his work and attention to detail it s nothing short of amazing. I have a very highly tuned 2000 mustang GT, 4.6 with a Vortech supercharger and other goodies under the hood, nobody could ever get it to run right except for Nick. Not only did he do a great job with my clutch issues, he took care of my entire front end, rear axle, brake issues, new Flowmaster exhaust and a super clean install of my 5 monster Jegs tachometer! When I picked up the car it was completely cleaned and detailed, I was literally blown away ..great service and professionalism. I hate to let the cat out of the bag but I will not be going anywhere else with any of my vehicles. Hands-down, the best in the business and I can t recommend anyone better than Nick Services: Exhaust, Steering & suspension repair, Engine repair

I came in without an appointment for a broken exhaust and he took me in right away and repaired the issue in about 10 minutes and sent me on my way free of charge. Great guy who does great work, very professional. I will be going to him for all my auto work from now on and I highly recommend him. I can t begin to express my gratitude to the owner ! Last year he built my mustang me motor and did the exhaust. It s a head turner around every corner. Great place for honest work. Had my 94' F150 serviced here and Nick worked to replace the exhaust which needed custom installation, welded a couple plates to reinforce the frame, replaced windshield and fixed the "classic F150 rusts spots" in time for a passing inspection.

The most honest mechanic I have met. Got straight to the problem did not try to upsell or make up any other problems, showed me where the issue was, gave me a realistic timeframe of when I should get it fixed by. As a woman I appreciate that and this is very important to me. I have been mislead so much and always need to go with a guy so that Im not lied to or taken advantage of. But I feel confident going on my own here to get my car checked out because I know that Nick will be realistic and honest. Awesome guy, and I definitely found my new mechanic. :)

My son goes to school in Providence at JWU and is from a superb of Washington D.C. as his primary residence while not in school.My son informed me of an incident he had due to his inability to drive proper around snow banks and what have you and did damage to his exhaust. I fully expected the worst and just told my son to find a shop and we ll just expect to get the screws put to us and be told that we need a new exhaust system because he s just an out of town college student and prepared as such.To my absolute surprise he was told no big deal and he could probably fix it in 10 minutes and to bring it back a couple days later (Saturday) and he d take care of it.Not only did he take care of it, but didn t even charge for the brief repair asking only for a positive review of his shop!!Well, I m here to tell you that if this man can treat an out-of-Town college kid with such honesty and integrity, Providence is blessed to have an auto shop amongst them and should feel very comfortable that you will get profoundly honest and integrity filled service to those local to his shop.Cudos to America s Speed shop and others will do right by them!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Amazing business and owner!! When my radiator cracked Nick came out to where my car was parked and ran around and grabbed all the parts and was able to fix it for me right there. I ll always suggest America s Speed Shop!!!

Very terrible place do not recommend anyone to go here I was looking for my exhaust to get fixed the price seemed fair but he could not fix my exhaust made it worse and cost me even more money to fix his screw ups gave me my truck back and my exhaust back In pieces plus he charged me a 100 dollars for putting in bolts the wrong way do not go here he has no clue how to fix anything will be looking forward to seeing you in court thank you
