Crowded in July, even on a week day evening, which is to be expected I guess. Changing rooms and showers close by but they close at 5pm when the lifeguards leave (but thankfully port-a-pots are still open). They stop charging around 5 or 6 so that was really nice!

This is a very well organized parking lot, with plenty of space for cars both in the summer, when it's payed for and in the winter, when it's free. The portable toilets, available year round are a great addition for people spending longer times on the beach. Access is also fairly good. A bike rack is available year round, facilitating beach access without paying a fee in the summer, or encouraging beach walks during any season.

$40 to park if you re out of state. State beach five minutes away is $14. Thanks to the attendant for telling us!

$20 bucks to park & it's well worth it!! The beach is gorgeous!

This small towners-only parking is gated and well protected. They've improved the walkways to the beach from this spot. This beach is the best on the East Coast in my opinion
