These guys did an excellent job changing my breaks and rotors. I also got a new set of tires which were reasonably priced. Sam and Doug were very kind and diligent. Will be returning!

AWESOME!!! 300 dollars cheaper than Tire Town for the same tires (4), installed! Ample parking, nice waiting area with things to do while you wait. Great people and the new tires on my car are sweeeeet. Good alignment services as well. These guys also beat out Sam's Club, they are the best in town!

These guys did an excellent job changing out our tires on our work vehicle. Diligent workers and helpful front desk. Sam and Doug were a pleasure to work with. Will be coming back to these guys again!

If I could give less than one star I would. We had our daughter's car in the shop to replace a bad wheel. They replaced the wrong wheel!!!!!!! My husband asked to see the wheel they took off and noticed they replaced the wrong wheel. If my husband had not asked to see it they would have sent us away with the BAD WHEEL STILL ON THE CAR, which would have created a serious hazard for our daughter. When my husband confronted the manager, Mr. Gummo, he failed to understand how serious this could have been, and actually was smiling during the confrontation. We feel he did not comprehend the seriousness of their mistake. It is shocking that the mechanic didn't recognize that he was replacing a perfectly good wheel, the first time around! Prior to this, the staff was using foul language and acting very unprofessional. These actions caused my husband to feel he needed to see the replaced wheel to make sure it was done correctly. Once he saw the wheel they removed, he knew immediately that they replaced the wrong wheel and the bad wheel was still on the car! We will never trust this substandard business to touch any of our vehicles again.

I ve never left reviews of anywhere before but felt like I needed to for this so no one else felt as unwelcome as I did a few weeks ago. Called the store to get a quote on tires the person who answered I think his name was Sam or Simon answered sounding rude, bored and just annoyed that I had called.Got a price which wasn t bad for the tires I wanted. Went in a few days later to get them mounted and balanced the mechanics keep just standing around the counter like they had nothing to do with a waiting room full of customers. Some guy in the back was upset and yelling at a guy at the counter. Another guy was just sitting at the counter on his phone ignoring everything around him. Kept hearing staff at the counter make rude sexual comments about people or inappropriate remarks and gestures to each other.Decided to walk to the glass window and watched as the rest of the mechanics in the shop were taking there time to do my tires they were to busy smoking and laughing instead of working. Finally got my car done and was told my tire light would go away after driving and if it didn t to bring it back and they would try to take care of it. The one mechanic made a comment that the person who normally does this wasn t available. (How does only 1 person know how to do this job?) left to drive home and a few days later realized my inspection was out no one told me this when they did my tires.. so I took it to a garage near my house and found out my brakes and rotors were not going to pass.. I had a tie rod loose and 2 lug nuts were not tightened again no one told me this either when my tires were being replaced.. I wasn t aware this place did inspections or any other kind of service but I guess that s on me for not asking.. but still would have been a great thing to know about the issues with my car mentioned above I probably would have gotten it done with my tires.If this is how business is done I m not sure I will be returning very unprofessional, un-knowledgeable and have any lack of care for what goes on around them.

Super friendly and knowledgeable. Front and rear brakes and rotors on a 2011 Forte. Quite was right on and the job was done very quickly I will definitely recommend them to other people. Thanks Steve Shannon Auto

The best tire service in town! Clean, respectful, professional! I ve visited all tire services here and Steve Shannon is the best! I had an appointment on Friday for 7:30am, I arrived 15 minutes early but all the workers were already in place. Max did a very accurate wheel alignment, he was patient (I am a very picky customer) and explained me everything. The worker at the balancing competently distributed the new wheels on the car taking into account the number of weights. Knupa, manager at the counter was helpful, polite and friendly. They have a spacious waiting room, coffee, TV, wide choice of tires - good place for tire service!

The best place in town for tire-related services. I've had my car serviced there twice, including tire replacements and inspections. They've always been very efficient and clear in diagnosing issues and providing solutions for my car.

I came in for an inspection and was greeted with urgency and professionalism. The staff and the mechanic was superb. The Manager Sam was simply Wonderful answering all my questions. I highly recommend. Will be returning for new tires on my truck. Thank you for your service

I stopped by for an inspection and was meet with professionalism and the best courtesy ever. Sam was incredible and was able to help me with my vehicle. He went above and beyond and should be recognized for his hard work and dedication to good customer interactions.

Most disappointed in the service. Happy so far with the tires but not the service. Ask them to put seat covers on the seat but didn't do that until after the car was pulled in. Also the bill was 38 dollars and some cents higher than quoted. Sam did nothing but do a lot of back talking. He offered a discount on an oil change but that's not what I was there for. I have a trusted mechanic for those types of things. I've used another tire service place for 30 years or so and because of health issues and lack of income now, I thought I will try someone a bit closer and cheaper if the quote would have been honored. Just disappointed. 40 bucks is 40 bucks, especially now.

I had a great encounter with this business, and it won't be my last time at this location. From my arrival, I was greeted with smiles rite before they were closing. I came in for major ture help and info, and they jumped on it. They got my the best tire priced you could get for the area, and I even did my Inspection when I came back for .my second time there. I'm taking my other vehicle there for tires in a month! These guys are GRADE A, responsible, understanding and most of all....experienced. Thank you Cody, Allen and Sam.

Took flat tire into shop. Fixed the tire no problem. When I left the dealership the tire light was still on. I asked about this and was told the light will stay on for 30 miles then go away. It didn't. Took it to my local dealership since I don't live close to the shop. Tire pressure sensor was busted and needed replaced. So they knowing broke a tire pressure sensor and sent it down the road. Refused to pay cost to fix after talking to manager about what happened. Joke of a place.

I brought my car to Steve Shannon Tire &Auto Center without an appointment. They greeted me promptly. They listened to my description of my car problems. We thought that our problem might be a weak battery. They checked my battery and found that the battery was fine. They recommended they we take the car the dealer. They didn t charge me for their time. I appreciate the prompt, knowledgeable and honest service provided. I will return to this store when I have future needs.

Limped in without an appointment but with completely flat, unfixable tire. They had me back on the road in no time. Price and service both excellent. And very friendly. As an older woman I'm sometimes uncomfortable in situations like this. No issues here. I'll use them in the future and will recommend to friends.

My experience with this company was nothing but problems. Had them order me in tires, days went by and then found out they sold them to someone else so had to wait a few more days. This was after being sold a junk set of tires(which were resold by the company!) I've also had a battery issue with my vehicle for months so I took it in, had to fight to get a battery in a timely manner, and it ended up being a junk battery brand new. They refused to warranty it for over a week so my alternator went out. Replaced the alternator to find yet again another dead battery. Was denied a new battery, was told that it should recharge from 300cca. Still jumping my car everyday going on 3 months now and they haven't done anything to help me out with a problem they caused.

I have been to this location twice. Ithe first time i purchased tires and a inspection this time. Both times very professional personal. There are some other auto shops In town that should send there people to them for training. You have a very Operation there.

Great bunch of people. Walked in off the street with a concern. They immediately brought my vehicle in and diagnosed the problem. Unfortunately my experience wasn't as good as other reviews. Came in to get TPMS relearned, computer device was locked in tool box. Second attempt, was told my sensor was bad, bought their sensor. Watched mechanics tighten lug nuts with electric drill, no torque wrench. Was told that sensor light would go out after driving it didn't. Went to other shop,was told their sensor was bad. Replaced TPMS sensor at other shop, got refunded. Won't be back .

I can't say enough good things about the guys at the State College location. I was in town on a business conference and hit a curb with my car. They called everyone that they possibly could to get me a new rim that day so that I could get home. Even though they weren't able to get one on such short notice, the effort was much appreciated. They did get it and fixed my car the next business day. Thank you so much!Services: Tires, Wheel alignment

This business is brand new to the State College-Area. They are located in the old Sears Service Station at the Nittany Mall. Also right across from the Aldi store. The service technicians were very helpful and understanding. I had just gotten off of work, but they were kind enough to still make time to complete the services I needed done on my vehicle. I highly recommend Shannon Tires for all your vehicle s needs!!P.s. They are also Veteran/Military-Friendly. Services: Auto emissions testing, Vehicle safety inspection, Oil change
