I had an excellent experience at Lava! The work done on my car was first rate, and Tom was friendly, kind, helpful and professional. I would absolutely return here if I need any work done in the future.

Had a great experience here. Tom was the point person for my car and he was great. Kind, professional, knowledgeable. Consistently, they went above and beyond. For instance, my headlight needed to be replaced, and when they replaced it, they polished the other headlight which was not damaged so that it would match the new headlight. I had some minor damage to my front bumper. Lava was able to get me in months earlier than other body shops in the area. On top of that they did an amazing job and my vehicle looks new again. They did a great job and highly recommend their work!

My car was finished a day faster than expected and everyone was so kind! They really took the time to explain their process and how they make sure they use quality parts, and the whole process was very quick and easy. Lava is the most professional, honest, and dependable body shop in the area. They do quality work and have superior customer service. Needed to have our Jeep repaired and they did a fantastic job! Body work was great and the interior was spotless when returned. Above and beyond excellent customer service as well! Highly Recommended.

Had to replace the splash guard on my vehicle they got the part in the next day . I took and dropped it off the night before the service was done and they called the next morning to let me know it was ready. They were very friendly and did an excellent job. I would recommend them and trust with my cars anytime.

Had a outstanding experience with everyone I came in contact with. Quoted price without insurance without needed to ask. Simple bumper work was done in about a day and my mats were cleaned. It was in the winter when there were salt on them. I wasn t expecting that but appreciated it.

I love LAVA! Being a loyal customer here. Good job guys. The price is fair and the job is done flawlessly. My car has the pearl paint and it's the hardest to be done. They also washed my car after the job and my car looked brand new. Highly recommend this place.

My son got in to an accident and received an OUTRAGEOUS quote from another shop! We went to see what Lava could do....Great job, gave us what we asked for and more at a TENTH of the price (not a typo, literally at 10%). Great work, Great service and GREAT INTEGRITY!

Had two seperate accidents that both required body work over the past couple of months. Took my car both times to Lava and both experiences were professional and seamless. My cars passenger side headlight, front side engine hood and passenger side fender was damaged. I am a PSU graduate student and I had only basic insurance coverage. So I had concern about money. They set up a quote for me and worked accordingly. I was surprised by seeing the car. They made my car almost new. Hard to understand that it was damaged in the front. They collected old parts, finished work and handed over the car 1 day before the deadline. I would say they are super professional.

They did an awesome job on my 2017 Jeep Cherokee when I hit a deer, or rather the deer hit me! It looks flawless. I was able to drop my car off after hours which worked great for my busy schedule. I dropped it off on a Sunday and picked it up on a Friday (it was done on Thursday but I wasn't able to get in to get it). Pickup was fast and easy and the staff was very helpful. I would highly recommend this company.

My son had an accident with his car in State College. I live in New Jersey. I read the reviews on Lava Auto Body and had my son bring his car in for an estimate. They were able to fix the car in less than a week for a fantastic price. The quality was amazing. They were professional and courteous. I would recommend them to anyone that needs body work done. I only wish I lived closer!

Highly recommend this auto shop out of any of the previous I've been to. Had a raccoon take out nearly my whole front end. Roughly 5 grand in damage, and in a decent amount of time had the car up and running back to normal or even above normal then it was before. If your insurance agency gives you the options for this shop like mine did, i suggest you take it. Granted its a little out of the way from major places still a great place to go to.

I had Some damage on the front of my car that caused the door to get caught. He willingly helped me adjust panel so the door wouldn t constantly rub against the panel. Understood my problem and money situation and was super kind about the whole process. I really appreciate you guys for what you did, thank you so much! Highly Recommend!!!Service: Body & Trim

Lava Auto was EXTREMELY helpful in dealing with insurance companies and the driver who hit me. Very stand up guys and I would recommend them to anyone who needed serious body work done. They fixed up the rear end of my Sentra and it looks great! Again, would recommend!

I took my car to three different places for estimates after being rear-ended at a traffic light, and Lava was the only one that validated my concerns about the damage to my car and was honest about how poorly aftermarket and reconditioned bumpers fit on the newer Honda Civics. The other shops kept pushing aftermarket and reconditioned parts because that's all the insurance companies will pay for, but Johnny at Lava ordered me a brand new bumper and even called Honda to see if they would be willing to match the price of the reconditioned bumper. When they knocked off some money but weren't able to match the price exactly, Johnny told me not to worry about the difference. My car was fixed in a day and a half, and now you can't tell it was ever hit because they did such a great job matching the color. I highly recommend Lava due to their courtesy and professionalism. I doubt I would have received this level of service anywhere else in State College. I hope I don't have anymore accidents, but if I do, I won't hesitate to bring my car back to Lava.

I had a deer run into the side of my truck and rip off my fender flare on the driver side front. I ordered the new fender flare, took it too these guys and in a few days she was back too normal...lol! Great guys, color matched perfect. I always say, the best shops are the smaller guys! Thanks guys, you rock!!!

I recently (and stupidly) crashed my car in a parking garage while on business in State College. After calling Lava, Johnny was able to refer me to an excellent towing company. I was completely overwhelmed from the day, and the entire Lava staff was welcoming and sensitive to my needs. Upon leaving State College and returning to my hometown, I found out from my insurance company that my car would be totaled. Johnny was kind enough to package the remaining belongings from my car and express ship them to my house so I could avoid driving 3 hours back to State College. I honestly wish Lava was closer to my hometown so I could bring my new car there any time I have an issue. They are qualified with years of experience, and I would recommend anyone (local or otherwise) bring their car here when they are seeking professional expertise. Couldn't have asked for better service.
