Harrisburg bus station is dingy, needs painting, no one or signage to let you know what bus is coming in or going out. Or to let you know that it has been canceled

Late or never shows and has the balls to not refund(your card company will do a chargeback and the best part is they get a small fine for it too). You guys are gonna get sued so bad one day.

The greyhound bus line is a total loss. Traveling from huntsville tx to state college pa was supposed to take 32 hours took 60. Over the entire trip I failed to see 1 bus on time. Causing many people to be unable to make their transfer. I had to stay overnight in Dallas waiting on a bus and driver. Twice I witnessed 2 incidents near the front door guns were pulled. The security guards were smoking weed just outside the door. Layed overnight in dayton oh we were dropped off at 1130 pm. This bustation was closed until 8 am the following day. Only after another overnight layover in Pittsburgh was I able to change to Fullerton bus line their busses were much cleaner and ran precisely on schedule assuring you are able to make transfers

I travel home to DC a few times during the school year. I am comfortable with Greyhound, the buses are fine, and the drivers are usually great. That being said, the staff at the State College station suck. They are generally listless, uncaring, and incredibly rude. I am not one to complain about anything, but these people have never not been rude to me. Someone needs to teach them about customer service.Try not to interact with them.As I said, the drivers tend to be friendly, good people.Good travels.

Hm. Where do I even begin? As I write this review, I would like it to be known that if I was able to give this -1000 stars. I would. I d like to start off and say that I m pretty sure nobody at Greyhound s knows what they re doing at all. I m pretty sure they just hire people off the streets and train them for a day. It originally takes me 2 hours to get home, it took me 8 hours. At the one stop where I was supposed to get onto the next, the bus driver just dropped me off in front of a CLOSED bus stop in Allentown in 5 degree weather. I had NO idea where I was and the next bus didn t come until 20 minutes later. That was unbelievably fun. Did I forget to mention that my bus driver fought with some random guy for 15 minutes? And also stepped out of the bus during a traffic stop to take a quick smoke break .... how professional. Well Greyhound buses. I d love to write more horrible things about your company, but I guess I ll just leave it at that! With love, a customer who will never come back <33333

The ride could have been more comfortable. The bus is usually delayed and I would appreciate it if I was informed beforehand.

WORST SERVICE EVER!!! I had a Bus Ticket that departed at 6:05pm and I did not arrive to my destination until 3:00am when I was suppose to get there at 12:20am. However, this is nothing new for the 4692 route! I tried to get a refund and I was told by two different people that I could not get one because in their system the bus shows that it's on time. I HATE riding greyhound! There the worst, I have only been on time once to my destination after that late late late! I thought I was the only one too but even the greyhound worker at the bus compound said that's the worse bus to take, their own employees know that greyhound is a trash company.

Don't ever listen to them if they ask you to deviate from your iteniterary. I was told to take the express and issued a ticket which put my arrival time 15 minutes over my next bus in Baltimore resulting in a 16 hour layover. Please turn your ears off to desk attendents.Detailed info:The time slot for the 11:30 in Harrisburg to Baltimore on weekdays gets shifted back to needing to take the 1:45 to Baltimore from Harrisburg because of an extra stop on the express that goes from State College to Harrisburg. The *advice" I got will screw Virginia travellers royally. and bamboozle you into a 16 hour over night layover as the 1:45 arrives at 4:45 over the Virginia interconnect to Charlottesville in Baltimore which has gracefully left you behind departing at 4:35. You'll miss the bus every time no exceptions. Don't do it.You'll also have to pay a $20 reissue fee to fix this uncontrollable mistake and make the next bus at 8:30 in the morning in Baltimore thanks to a information up at the desk here "the express is faster, take that instead."Complete airheads at the desk! Plan on sleeping in a terminal with your bags if you listen to them.NOT the drivers fault the people at the desk should know the routes before issuing riders new tickets with empty promises! The station is clean and tidy. You get half a star for that and the other half for the driver who was a gentlemen.I will say here very strongly the people you have inside giving out bad advice to riders, that NEEDS IMPROVEMENT.I'm just glad I brought cash for emergency reissues.Get your act together State College! Giving people bad advice is the quickest way to not. I will skip you for this experience and get straight to the broken down old inner city stop that is Harrisburg Transit through State College over not getting a 16 hour layover and that's saying something. My deepest apologies to the driver he was probably the best one the whole journey long. This review does not reflect your work performance at all you are a gentlemen. Please give the driver running State College to Harrisburg a pat on the back and a raise. His bus was clean and quiet and you respected him because you wanted to. He was a kind man. Also called out stops for people with disabilities clearly which is a much sought after consitant practice with some of these people. I saw him making sure people with disability tickets got their stops safely.Resolution:Greyhound issued me a full refund on a round trip ticket after an investigation into this one . But there really wasn't an excuse for the poorly trained desk attendants. I'm just glad I've ridden before and know what to do....

Just pathetic service. My 11am bus started at 4:00pm. All the connecting buses were gone. The people working there were having a damn care attitude about the delay and it seemed they did not have any idea why the delay happened. I was supposed to be in my home around 8:00pm. Rather a situation was created where I came to know that I have to wait till 4:55am in the morning to get the next bus. If you have any other option available, don't even consider travelling by Greyhound. It just sucks.

Awfully disorganized at every station. Most recently, they overpacked a bus from State College to Harrisburg and three gentlemen had to sit on the floor. There was pouring rain while we were waiting to get on the bus (that was already 45 minutes late), so not only were all of us soaked, but these men were sitting in puddles. Pathetic, overpriced, and very unsafe.

I ran into a friend taking a bus with me to Harrisburg on a very slow weekend so we decided we d sit next to each other for the ride there. We sat in the first row behind the driver, QUIETLY having a conversation with each other, when the bus driver goes on the loud speaker to announce to the whole bus that the two ladies sitting behind me need to stop talking or we re going to have to move to the back of the bus to continue our conversation. In his words, you are literally right behind me and I m gonna need you to stop the conversation. I m apalled. People around me looked shocked. I d like to think that I have sympathy for people who are having a rough time but if this is your JOB, you ought to leave your attitude at home. Again, our conversation or our volume wasn t obnoxious and we weren t going to be talking for the whole hour and a half. Greyhound just lost a new customer.

They delayed my bus from Washington DC to Harrisburg for tow hours first and then they CANCELED it. They did not even announce it properly' I had to ask it to the reception desk. I took an uber along with some of my friends which costed me more than the bus ticket. This happened 10 days ago. I told them about this but my money is not refunded yet. And this is not the only bad experience I had with them. I can tell you a lot of other bad stories...Delays are regular at Greyhound. My bus was once delayed for 7 hours for which I could not wait and took an uber with friends. That time they refused to refund me the money because they believed that I had to wait! Also, they lie about the wi-fi on board but that is the most innocent thing they do I guess. In short, a terrible bus company.

Absolute worst experience. Bus was delayed and caused me to be late to my first transfer. I had to go on a different bus about three hours later. It gets worse. Once I arrived at my second transfer, it was too late. Every bus going on my direction was done for the day. I was stranded in Baltimore until the next day. I left at 9 AM and didn't even make it to another bus. I hate this bus system more than anything, but it's the only way I can get home. Every experience is the worst. Expect a 12 hour ride instead of a 6 hour ride. I'm glad this weekend is my last Greyhound trip.

Had to go all the way to State College to pick up friend because the buses don't travel close enough to Sunbury. Expensive one way on top of the driving we had to do. Still, it beats having to drive all the way to Ohio... Only allowed a small carry on. When bus finally arrived, the station itself was closed. Ticket purchase process could use much improvement. Need Better schedule updates online too.

honestly if I could give no stars I would. It was such a bad experience. First off, when the advertise there is wifi on the bus, they don't let you know that its the lowest quality wifi out there and it doesn't even work. Another thing, I was getting a bus from Philadelphia to State college and the only option was to switch at Wilkes barre. Well the first bus took such a long time to start up that it missed the transfer bus in Wilkes barre so I had to wait 3 hours for another bus to take me to state college. It was so annoying and I would definitely recommend a different bus company. I am never using this again.

Williamsport PA Greyhound is small & not open 24 hrs round the clock . It is nice & clean staff is friendly . Also there is a lot of outside seating . Pittsburgh is open 24/7 & for as big as it is it's kept clean . Small snack shop , has hot dogs , fries other easy finger food at reasonable prices . Not bad at all .

Worst bus service. They will cancel bus for no reason halfway through the journey. Just like that the driver will announce, we will not be riding further and you can go ahead and rebook for a ticket for next day that is after 24 hours.

Never riding Greyhound again, not even if they got me free tickets! The staff are indifferent and unbelievably rude, the whole system of boarding the passengers onto the bus is confusing, none of the ticket booth seem to work, the check in counters are understaffed and the buses aren't ever on time! Worst travel experience!

Greyhound hired Fullington in STATE COLLEGE, PA to use its bus. Service and bus are disgusting... The manager of Fullington is rude and useless. Avoid this hole of rats at any cost.

I want a bus schedule for all available trips from point A to point B morning, afternoon, and evenings. If I log on to greyhound late mornings about noon I am given only the remainder of that day schedule not a weekday schedule or weekend schedule of all available buses arrivals and departures.

Over three and a half hours late, little to no communication with customers. Driver decides to take two breaks on a supposed non-stip trip to smoke. Worst experience on any bus service ever.

Tried calling the number they have posted on the door since the building itself is shut down as of right now because of covid.... needless to say I waited over 20 minutes just for the automated system to hang up on me! Not happy considering I wasn't able to buy a bus ticket because of the hassle!
