My car key was stolen and I could not for the life of me find anyone local who would be able to come to the vehicle and program a new key from scratch, AKS did it all, they came all the way out to my car, which was in a completely different city, they were able to program me a new key and also erase the key that was stolen. The whole process took maybe 7 minutes. Evan ( I think that's his name) was profession, polite, informative. And I was able to drive my car away. Super thankful I was able to find this company!

I foolishly left the key to my rooftop cargo box at home 4 hours away when when dropping off my son at college. Another locksmith told me that it could only be broken into, but Caleb, of AKS, used his wizardry to open the box without damaging it. AKS was understanding, friendly, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend their services.

Phenomenal experience! I had never expected to be taken care of so quickly and efficiently! Locked myself out of my car on my lunch break and the tech that came out for me was so kind and helpful. Highly reccomend!

I had a very positive experience here. I had a lock on my car hitch, but the cover on the lock had come off and a bunch of debris had gotten caught up in the keyhole. I wasn't able to get the key into the lock and broke the key in half trying to force it in. I was on a tight schedule and drive over, expecting them to saw the lock off, so I could take the hitch off. The gentleman who served me was very polite and walked out into the cold to check my car, and said I could is inside or in the car while he looked at it. Within a few minutes, he had cleaned all the debris from inside the keyhole, greased it up, and make me a new key for my lock. It was so fast and at a reasonable price.

2 months ago, I made a panicked call to AKS to open my locked house door....they were there within 30 minutes. Better yet, I took my broken (smashed in the car door ...not by me) car fob to order a replaccement, since the dealer had assured me there was no way to make it work. Before I could order it (several hundred dollars ....and so much less than dealer price) they insisted I try a new battery (which I asxumed the dealer had tried). When was the last time you were talked out of paying more for a repair? These guys are great!

I lost my husband only car key. Evan, was very kind, patient , professional & respectful. Car had a dead battery from sitting for a few months during the winter. We tried charging battery but he stayed longer waiting for car to get charge to be able to get the job done. It was cold and a little icy and he kept up his professionalism. Definitely recommend Evan at aks security . Thanks you for helping out your local soldier.

Told them I needed new keys cut and programmed for my car. It took them several days to even order the keys. It was 10 days from when I lost the keys to when they were able to cut and program them. Then they only got one programmed and said it was my batteries fault the other one wouldn't program. As if the act of programming a key was so intensive to a battery that somehow it was ruined in-between the keys. When this was all finished, he handed me the keys and said "well the one wont turn it on but here they both are." I had to ask him how to get the other to work and he said maybe if I had a different battery I could bring it back to them and they could do it again. If I paid them again, of course. Don't waste your time with these crooks, just go to a dealership.

I locked my keys in my car and saw their website says they offer 24/7 emergency service but this turns out to be a lie. I waited until the next day and waited over 20 minutes to talk to someone.When I got on the phone with them, a woman picked up and asked what I needed then put me back on hold for another 10 minutes. Half an hour has gone by now and I finally got to talk to a "technician". I was put on hold AGAIN and had to wait another ten minutes before he came back with telling me I may have to wait a few hours as they had no technician available????Now they told me they hadn't been doing emergency service for "awhile" although again, their website says they are. The price they gave me was outrageous and they wouldn't give me a break for their false advertising and long wait times.I told them I'd call back and found another locksmith for half the price who instantly picked up their phone. Call Rothrock Locksmith if you need timely assistance.

My sister is attending the local university here, so we flew in to visit and realized the locks where she is staying needed to be fixed. We called AKS, waited 30 minutes to even talk to a representative.We are not very familiar with American locksmiths but were assured by another locksmith that this is not how they should operate. Once we called AKS Security, it took over 10 minutes to speak to a representative. Then, the representative seemed to have no idea what we were talking about or how to help us. They promised to get what they called a "more experienced technician" to call us back. They never did.While waiting, we called another locksmith who promptly understood what we needed from them and gave us a quote of 100 US Dollars. We then called AKS back and was able to talk to a "more experienced technician," who gave us a quote of 250 US Dollars. When asked about the price difference between the two companies, the AKS employee fell silent.Needless to say that the customer is not the priority here and my sister could have been in a bad situation if it were not for the other locksmith.

Terrible service. Once more things never change from years ago. Tried to get an ATV key. The Honda dealer said go to aks to get a copy they so not do them nor tried to order me one. Well, excuses excuses excuses. We can't, well maybe we can, the guy who normally does this is out today. Then I agreed I would wait till he seen what he had and possibly cut for me. The guy gets a phone call and 10 minutes later he is still on the phone completely ignoring me. Grabbed my key and left. Screw the individual but bend over backwards for big companies or big names. Sad customer service has to be so bad.

I stopped by AKS because my car key had stopped working and looked like it needed a new battery. AKS was able to help me right away. They were also very honest - they realized that it was a battery placement issue rather than a dead battery, and fixed it with no charge. I couldn't be happier!

4 hours from home and locked out of our camper, makes for the start to ruin a vacation. After calling AAA for service and being told 4 hours later, they don t service this area. Called around for a local locksmith. An hour looking for someone with 24hr service, no luck. Thankfully I came across AKS.What a fantastic experience- super nice guy, fair price, drove over an hour to us, quick to our location, and even faster lock out service. Couldn t have asked for things to have ended better. They saved our vacation.

My daughters van got locked accidentally with my grand baby inside. The car was running with air conditioning in it so she was not hot. I drove up the road to jay who works with AKS security and asked him if he could come help. He immediately came and had my grand daughter out within mins . Jay is a god send.. thank you for coming over on your day off. I would recommend this company over any other . God bless you all.

Jay and the team at AKS Security are AMAZING! They really made the process of putting a security system in seamless and easy for us. They have gone above and beyond to make us feel at ease, using walkie talkies, phones, email, etc. to talk with us while we are all keeping a social distance. The system put in works like a charm. They covered two homes, including my mom's and she is sleeping better now. They are the best! Thank you so much!

Sad that I called for 2 deadlocks to be installed. Only inside was Schlage. Outside cheap knock off. 2 tech's said they do this all the time. Cheap parts substitution.Called and had Frederick's from Altoona.Whole mechanism was Schlage. Inside and out. No short cuts. Don't use AKS. They cut corners and materials.

Would not cut my key. An OEM jeep key. Only keys from their suppliers. I had no issue paying whatever they wanted to cut it. Just want an OEM key not Chinese junk. Was not asking for any programming or anything special, just cut the key. Ace hardware did it. I guess when you are the only game in town some businesses don t care.

Brought in key lock cylinders for my truck, Auman's rekeyed both of them to match my ignition key for the best price I could imagine. Very friendly, helpful and understanding staff. Definitely referring them to anyone I run into with a locksmith job, keep up the good work!

Highly recommended for the service. I called around 5pm and thought they wouldn't have time to come in soon. But the girl called me about 20 minutes later and told me she already on the way. The lock was hard to break and she tried every possible ways. Really consider your cost and time for the problem. I highly recommended the service and girl served to me is Kyra.

We had great service from Tyra today. She was friendly, courteous and on time. She was able to rekey two locks professionally and efficiently. The one was an older difficult assembly. She was able to improve the operation in addition to rekeying it to match the other door. Thank you for a job well done at a reasonable cost!

Not necessarily something anybody wants to do, but they were courteous and prompt. Fairly reasonable price to come out immediately on a Sunday night. Expected the cost to be JUST under that of a window but it was far less. Needed a copy of the receipt two weeks later and sent it immediately, while holding the line to confirm receipt. Couldn t really ask for more. Hope not to need again but will absolutely call them if necessary.Service: Car lockouts

Very efficient and friendly service. I got a set of keys made, and it took less than five minutes from the time I walked in to the time I walked out. I haven't had keys made before, so I don't know the going rate, but for two keys to be copied, the total was $5.30, which I thought was very reasonable.
