I bought my 2018 Jeep Cherokee in April 2022 at Scranton Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram.Seems kinda late to write a review? No Since the purchase, I have brought the Black Diamond Latitude around to the next oil change. In this time, the vehicle has been flawless. No oil loss, nothing creaks, been hidden or fell off. This vehicle was a replacement for a 2007 Liberty, which rolled up 245,000miles since new. I never thought I d replace it. This Cherokee has truly found its way to my heart. Cant wait for the first snow. I had the pleasure of working out the Cherokee deal with both Josh and Dan. They are good people. I believe the dealership is good people. Absolutely loved this experience! Frank G was fantastic listening to me and working with me very personable and profess! Ty is goes for Phil as well he was very personable and professional at the same time. I would definitely send people to this location!!!! Great job all around!!!! Timely and courteous service! Great price! Would definitely come back to fix any issues with my Jeep. They are very busy, had to wait for available appointment spot couple of weeks but was worth it.

Horrible service. Ashley Reed at the service counter is extremely abrupt and rude from the get go. I know dealerships pride themselves on the pit bulls they keep on their front lines, but she is beyond surly. She also does not return customer phone calls or texts no matter how courteous your message is. If you must go here, do yourself a favor and avoid her. Also, the technicians gave me back my car with broken and missing items on the dashboard. Greasy hand prints were also on the roof liner. Unfortunately, I noticed the damages after getting back my car and driving home. I would have complained, but I know from other people's past experiences that Scranton Dodge will relentlessly deny they're at fault.As is often said, I would give zero stars if that was an option. I now go to Ray Price Chrysler in Mt. Pocono. A farther trip but a much more professional experience.Attention Scranton DCJR: do not reply with the usual disingenuous request to contact you to discuss this. There is nothing you can say in defense of your poor customer service.

Best Sales and Service team around! I only purchase my vehicles from John and his team. When I take my car in for service they go above and beyond to make sure I am absolutely satisfied. I've never had an issue being a customer since moving to the area for over 7+ years and 2 vehicles later looking for my third :). Thank you for always looking out for the customer. You guys are the best!

If I could give zero stars I would. This place has done nothing but jack is around. A couple years ago our Dodge broke down on the side of the highway and we had it towed to the dealership and they told us they may be able to look at it sometime during the week but no guarantees , and they offered no courtesy vehicle. This is a work vehicle and is needed every day! Then we needed the mirror replaced and we went 2x with appointments and both times we already dropped the truck off and left only to be called a couple hours later saying they didn t have the mirror. Finally the third attempt they finally had the mirror and then wanted to charge full price after everything they put us through. We will never purchase a Dodge again because of how terrible the customer service is. Do yourself a favor and buy your car or truck somewhere else. The service department is an absolute joke.Update...... both my husband and I have tried to contact Matt. We have left messages and have not received a phone call back. We will be purchasing a new vehicle in the near future and it is safe to say we will not use this dealership nor purchase a Dodge/Ram due to their lack of customer service.

Service department is horrible! Nobody answers the phones or calls you back. When I arrived for my appointment I was told it would take 3-5 hours. Never told in advance! 3 1/2 hours in, I m told it couldn t be completed because the part was damaged.( a new soft top from the factory). They never checked it before my appointment. Asked to have my old top replaced until the got the new one cam in & was told I d have to pay the labor for that because it was not covered under warranty. But yet they would pay for a rental car for a week??? Left a message for the manager of the service department to call me but he had the front desk girl call instead. Got nowhere with her rude attitude. Called the owner and still never heard from anyone. How they are still in business is beyond me!

We just purchased a used Jeep from Josh Symuleski this past weekend and all I can say is what a true professional! He took the time to show us how everything worked in the vehicle and answered all of our questions. Great guy to work with and a great dealership to work with as well. Thanks again!!!

Frank at Scranton Dodge is an absolute pleasure to deal with. Incredibly friendly and genuine. Past buying experiences with other local dealers were ok but the experience I had with Frank and Scranton Dodge is easily the best experience I ve had yet purchasing a vehicle. I highly recommend checking them out if you re in the market for a new or used vehicle.

This company does not honor their warranty or any of there work. Had a vehicle in for diagnostic and they said it needed calipers and they would order them. 15 miles later front wheel falls off the vehicle and they tried saying that they did not have the wheels off. To diagnose what was going on a test drive and pulling the wheels would be required. Well after getting the damage fixed from the wheel falling of that they refused to take accountability for, come to find out calipers are fine and the wheel bearings in the rear where going as well as the rear differential bushings. Car is now having transmission issues and there is no way to be able to get it fixed because the dealership is not taking appointments, and or they want to charge diagnostic fees for work that is covered under a warranty they sell. Absolutely the worst experiences ever. Wouldn t suggest getting work done or purchase a vehicle here

10:00 Appointment. Asked for a loaner and apparently they don't do that anymore because of the "pandemic". OK! No big deal I'll wait....... 3 hours later tech hasn't even looked at my jeep. What's the point of having an appointment? When I asked how much longer before someone would even look at my jeep I was told "The tech had left for lunch and I may be brought in when he came back." I didn't get a lunch! And I'd been waiting 3 hours. Well he can enjoy his lunch. I'll get my jeep serviced some where else. And soon as my lease is up I will be going elsewhere. Here's a suggestion... Don't schedule appointments so close together if you don't have the techs to do the work. If I can give 0 stars I would!!! This is why people hate customer service!!!

The salesman that worked with me was Dave Deacon, he was awesome. Felt like our conversations were genuine and he was very professional when we were discussing pricing for my vehicle. I bought a used 2015 Toyota Corolla and it has exceeded my expectations. I am very happy with my purchase, I thought it was a fair price and they went above and beyond with their customer service after they knew they had secured a deal.

I had an incredibly positive experience at this dealership. I worked with Bill who I feel went above and beyond to help me with a very unfortunate situation. He was patient, kind, very accommodating over the course of two days. I felt very comfortable with him as he made multiple calls and finagled the best possible deals for me within my budget. I couldn't be more satisfied with his expertise and service.

Purchased a pre-owned Honda Fit a couple weeks ago and am incredibly happy with the experience. My lease was coming to an end with another dealer, and I wanted to purchase a used car this time around. I wasn't looking forward to the car buying process, but this place made it easy and I never felt pushed. My husband and I were greeted when we walked in and test driving shortly after. Shoutout to our sales rep, Fred Langenhop! He was friendly and patient, letting us explore the vehicles at our own pace. We were also able to get the monthly payment close to what I had been paying on the lease. I recommend here if you're looking to buy a car in Scranton.

6/2/2022 UPDATE REDUCED FROM 5 STARS TO 2 AS IT HAS BEEN 14 MONTHS AFTER PURCHASE OF JEEP.Still waiting 14 months for spare tire that was included in the sales contract when vehicle was purchased. Sadly it has come to this. Owner is aware, so this update should not be a surprise Not cool.I recently inquired about a 2019 CPO Jeep Renegade they had listed on the dealership web page. The next morning Christopher (Chris) Montagna called me. We set up a time to meet and for me to take a test drive. After doing so I returned to the dealership a few days later with my family and we came to an agreement on price.The car was spotless, clean and outside the dealership on delivery day. I applaud Chris for his professionalism, honesty and going a few extra steps to make the purchase attractive.I was not introduced to any managers at the dealership but that was ok as I was in good hands with Chris from start to finish.In a time when customer service at many other dealerships have taken a back seat...Chris has exceeded my expectations (and I am not an easy customer to please).Highly recommend Chris @ Scranton Jeep

If you thought about taking your vehicle here for any issues and expect a solution I d HIGHLY RECONSIDER. Made me fix and pay for a part (almost 2 if another dealer didn t catch it) out of pocket I didn t even need replaced and wanted to charge me $1k for another part I didn t need but was told I did and failed to catch a PCV valve that could ve destroyed my car. Never gave me a straight answer about prices or what is and isn t covered under my warranty. When the piece came In they didn t inform me and took it upon themselves to replace it. Everyone here was unprofessional and seemed like they threw out diagnoses without actually knowing what was wrong to just get some money. I will NEVER bring my jeep here again. Service dept is AWFUL, unable to contact anyone. Also not to mention they had no loaner vehicles for me and was fine with me being without a car for over a month while it sat on the lot.

Our last two vehicle purchases were made at Scranton Dodge. I highly recommend seeing sales professional, Chris Montagna. He is not a pushy salesman but instead listened to what we were looking for in a purchase, helped us through the process, and follows up with any questions we have and how we like the vehicles. Nick Berthiaume, finance manager, was also very helpful with our questions about the warranty and got us an excellent interest rate. Go see Chris. We all know purchasing a vehicle can be stressful, Chris made it very stress free. Thank you, Scranton Dodge, Chris and Nick!

Edit from my last post:Went back with my wife and negotiated a great deal for a lease on a Grand Cherokee L Limited. They redeemed themselves with the great service from Fred Langenhop. He treated my wife and I with respect and was not pushy at all. The service was efficient and quite exceptional. This experience erased any negative encounter I have had here and warranted a new review. Thank you to all and specifically to Fred Langenhop for such a wonderful transaction.

The service has gone totally downhill in the past 3 years. I've purchased 6 vehicles from this location and will never buy from them again. I had a service issue with my starter that is under warranty and they've had my vehicle for a week without even checking it and refuse to give me a loaner vehicle. When I said I'd take it back until they could get it in, they stated that my service wait time would start over and it wouldn't start until I brought it back.

I bought a Jeep Trailhawk yesterday from Scranton Dodge and had a great experience. I worked with the salesman named Fred and he was very pleasant to work with. He wasn t pushy at all and met all my demands needed to get the deal done. I was in and out start to finish in a few hours and the finance specialist was prompt with getting all the paperwork done. Nothing but good things to say about my experience with this dealer.

We have used Scranton DCJR for service on both of our vehicles for years now. We are usually satisfied with the work done on our vehicles but, at times, the service experience left a lot to be desired. The wait times for drop off/pick up are long and difficulty making appointments (it's not unusual to reach voicemail during business hours) can be frustrating. We have always been treated with respect, but at our last visit our service adviser Clint Bendar went above and beyond to make us feel valued. He got us in and out as quickly as possible at drop off and pick up, as well as thoroughly answering our questions and making sure we got timely updates during the entire repair process. His dedication and friendly demeanor made for a great experience.

They have 1 service writer. Jessica. She will never answer the phone, or return ypur calls, if you do get in contact with her, she os extremely rude and unprofessional. 4 times I had my jeep there for the same issue. The last time they had it for 2 months. No loaner, no contact, no update. Sometimes she texts some nonsense about not the problem. I've spent thousands at this place and even brought in customers. Only to be embarrassed. As long as Jessica is there, We will never return

If I didn t have to leave a star I wouldn t have. The employees in the service department are very rude especially Jessica. I had to take my vehicle to be repaired. I informed them I would need a loaner vehicle as my vehicle was being repaired. I dropped my car off the 12th of October the gentleman in the service department told me I would have my vehicle back in 2-3 weeks. I called several times to try to get an update on my vehicle nobody would answer or call back when they did answer I got an attitude from Jessica she yelled at me and then hung up on me. I finally went to Dodge where I spoke to Ryan he was very professional and informative as to what was going on with my vehicle. I finally got my vehicle back on November 19th. So much for 2-3 weeks it was more like a month and a week.

My wife purchased her Jeep Grand Cherokee at Scranton Dodge in 2018 and has been taking it there for servicing since. The Jeep passed inspection two months ago and the mechanic said everything was fine. She just took the vehicle in for an oil change and they told her it would soon need $3000 in repairs. I looked it over and took it for a road test and everything seemed fine. She took it to Kelleher tire in Scranton to have it inspected and they said everything was good and it didn't need anything. I don't know if it's illegal to do what they are doing but it should be.The last time I took the Jeep to Scranton Dodge myself for a minor repair they made me wait 4 hrs., even though I had made an appointment for the service. We will never take a vehicle back to them or purchase another vehicle from them.

Went online first..did get a response from Phil Santiago. Met with him, told him what I wanted. I still had a balance on vehicle I wanted to trade. He said he will do his best to help me out and he came thru as he promised. I got a great deal and great rate. Smoothest car buying experience ever. I bought a 2020 Jeep Compass and I love it. Thank you Phil Santiago...you should be employee of the year.

Bought a 2013 Dodge Dart here in 2015. Have been very happy with the car for over 100000 miles. Needed documentation to gift the vehicle to my son a few days ago. Ben helped me out in less than 30 minutes. That is service above and beyond. Thank you.

I bought a new Jeep Cherokee from Phil Santiago and I highly recommend anyone who's in the market for a new vehicle to contact him. He went above and beyond and got me the vehicle I wanted. This was the easiest car purchase that I've ever dealt with. He took care of everything and evened followed up with me after the sale to make sure I was happy with my new ride and to see if I had any questions. Great dealership and Phil is awesome!!

This is the first review that I have ever written. I feel compelled to share my experience with this dealership. For a few days after completing a sale, I had concerns that I had previously brought to their attention and wanted to discuss further. I did not hear back from the manager until he knew that I was trying to contact the owner. I tried contacting the owner (Matt Pompey) via email and voicemail and have received no response. I am sure that had my calls been about a prospective sale that I would have received a very timely response. I found this dealership to be incompassionate, to lack integrity, and to be only concerned about a sale. I know that I am only one person, but if this review helps just a few people to make an informed decision it was worth it.

Multiple times I've had issues with them and it's always the service department. Like today another time where they decided to over tourqe the oil pan plug , along with being nice enough to strip it for me . Been told my breaks and rotors were under state minimum and won't pass yet they were great and above state minimum only one pad was getting lower and they said i needed all of them replaced . Would never ever recommend them for service
