I love listening to Bruce and the guys every week on Kevin Rutherford s Power Hour radio show. They are very knowledgeable and entertaining if you are into all things mechanical. Bruce (and his staff) knows his stuff and anyone willing to listen to him can learn much from his lifetime of experience.

Installed Pittsburgh's Harmonic Damper and Balancer and started using the Fuel Borne Catylist our C-15 ACERT almost 2 years ago. (The Catylist's improvement alone is another novel..lol).Installed a Steed Speed Manifold and Fleet Air Filters recently then had Pittsburgh Power "Tune" our ECM.This ACERT performs like a mountain lion and our efficiency level has increased significantly due to the mechanical upgrades and significant changes in my driving habits.Thank You Pittsburgh Power.

1 star because I can't put 0 star. This company came highly recommended by my mechanic, and they also have a big name in the industry. But after the experience we had with them, I nor my mechanic will be using them again. And he has had a long relationship with them. When the part (an injector) that you worked for me, messes up my #6 cylinder, in under 500 miles and the only thing you can do is send me another injector! You charge me freight, you drag your feet, and give me the run around? It took them over a month to send us another injector, and this was after my mechanic ate the cost of overnight shipping to expedite the process. The worst customer service. I will make sure to tell anybody who listens to never use this company. First photo is how a normal spray pattern should look on a cylinder head. Second one is what happens when you drill the injector wrong, and it scars the cylinder wall.

Bought a dual fuel line and had them reflow a set of injectors for my 855 cummins. Very knowledgeable and helpful selecting upgrades for my truck.

I rated 5 stars because four and a half wasn't an option. They may not be perfect and have slipped up and made a couple errors on my Cat but are the premier shop to get the most out of your engine. Great programmers, nice inventory.

I just ordered my 2nd muffler from Pittsburgh Power, I need to replace the muffler that I bought from them[Pittsburgh Power] in October 2012! That is what I call getting your money worth. Happy to see the same muffler is still available 10 years later,with only a slight increase in price. Thankyou Pittsburgh Power for offering quality products.

CAT not happy? Give it some Pittsburgh Power products and it'll purr like a kitten!!I love working with this company. They are very knowledgeable, and everyone is beyond helpful. I am never rushed when I call, nor am I treated as if my questions are irrelevant.Keep up the great work!!

These guys are fully booked .. and for a reason.In my case - I had spent (tens of) thousands going to different Freightliner dealers and none could find anything wrong. Pittsburgh Power solved the issue in � day.Friendly, they will actually speak to you, explain. Overall very positive experience.There is just one thing - the location. You can t just drop in for a quick chat as the shop is way off any highways.

I didn't want to rush making this review since a wanted to give time to see how the engine was going to perform, after three months all I can say is that the tuning done by Pittsburgh Power is one of the best investments I've ever done. Thanks to Eric and the rest of the staff who helped me throughout the process.

I want to say that Pete and Craig was able to help me out with a manifold that I bought. The first one that I bought was the wrong flang that I needed I called and talked to Pete and he got me the right one I needed. I sent the other one back and was refunded in a timely matter. I am very happy with how everything went with the guys at Pittsburgh Power can t wait to do more business with them outstanding company.

I called in to get some information about what I can do to my truck to get more torque. Eric the tune get informed me of a few options he was very informative and helpful to and also told me I could get a tune remotely at one of their locations Piedmont fleet services is where I got it done , Lynchburg VA

I was suffering power loss in our diesel pusher. I paid a repair shop to put it on their scanner and they told me it was fine. I didn t think so. I found Pittsburgh Power when researching the internet and was intrigued by their story. I called and made an appointment for a tune . First they examine your vehicle and correct any problems. Then they will put it on the computer and see what it was doing. We didn t get to that part. They discovered a damaged and leaking turbo,cracked exhaust manifold,blown manifold and turbo gaskets ,several exhaust leaks and a blown charge air cooler. Its amazing we didn t break down. It s unbelievable how well it runs now. It s far better than it was when I purchased it and I had an inspection done on it at A Caterpillar dealer. They missed a few things. The guys worked late getting it back together so we wouldn't be there over the weekend. They fabricated exhaust pipe. They fixed a brake issue. Tightened up my hitch ,fixed a broken fan shroud. Jarred did a fabulous job with his coworker and Brian kept us in the loop..It seemed like forever but some parts had to be ordered and they got right on it. They got it right. This thing has way more power than I remember. Accelerating uphill with a toad is normal. It s amazing. Eric was the service manager and he was happy to answer questions about my bill which was very fair for the work done. And they don t add much to big dollar parts because I priced the turbo they put on from Caterpillar and they only marked it marginally. AND NO I DONT WORK THERE OR OWN IT BUT I DID DRIVE OVER 1000 MILES TO get our coach fixed. I am happy to find another shop which does exceptional work

Very friendly service and they treated us right. We brought them our Volvo Truck to have them put in the OPS system which they'd never done before on our engine configuration. They figured it out though when no one else would even attempt it. Yay for us and a heartfelt thanks to them. We've been carrying the OPS system around with us for 3 years so I'm happy we're getting to use it now.

We are 2500 miles from Pittsburgh Power we run the "remote tunes" and LOVE them the performance and savings makes it a must have! So we just took delivery of a 2022 Pete which turned out to have a bad turbo speed sensor which was giving our tune problems J.R. stuck with it with a "CAN DO" attitude until problem was solved even when I was ready to give up. Thank you once again J R

These guys have all ways gone the extra mile to help me on my truck . They have knowledge and determination. The mechanics, the programmers, the service staff ,and Cathy are all great people with good attitudes and the desire to see me do better. I highly recommend this shop for all your needs.

Estimate work, repair order (quote), execute, substitute parts of incorrect specification, raise the bill over $15,000 without a phone call and take months to do an out of frame, the mechanic threw parts of my truck around the shop and this is one of the 3 positive things i have to say, he told me about it in front of others, yes his telling me is positive. Second positive is the physical facility makes any man who enjoys mechanical work want one for themselves, and lastly, they bought lunch for drivers on property at lunch time, i have heard lunches may have ended. Beyond that, i have nothing good to say, been fighting them for evidence for the lawsuit over 4 years now. They delay, avoid, evade and accuse....

Everyone there has always been very helpful and knowledgeable.I use there products, without any problems.Just upgraded my truck and will soon be getting Dorothy.Great people, great service, what more can someone ask for?

YoderTeam think Bruce should stay focused on running his business and less focused on trying to get famous by being on the Radio all the time with Kevin.I had my truck in his shop 3 times this year for the same issue and they still haven't fixed it.Pittsburgh power is great on simple issue , however there Electrical Engineer are anything but top notch. At this point I think the TA shop is Equal with Pittsburgh Power Electrical staff.I am very disappointed by Bruce.

It takes longer to pay your bill then it does to get the work done because you will be standing at the counter being ignored the whole timeI am leased on to the carrier across the street from them they also felt the need to tell them everything I m doing with my truck and everything that they could find wrong with it they claim that my inspection was out of date but it wasn t because I had a federal inspection sticker on there they were looking at the Pennsylvania inspection sticker which is not needed.I will absolutely never ever be in the shop again

I Purchased multiple things from this company never had any problems very helpful and supportive Team.About two months ago I had one of the authorized dealer for the Pittsburgh power did work on my ECM Charge me $1450 I filled Zero Difference they keep blaming me for something Wrong with the truck I brought the truck to Catapillar checked everything including intercooler injectors time codes and turbos. Called back and told them there Nothing wrong with the truck They don t wanna do nothing about it they don t want to give me the money back. I would be very careful with their ECM tuning because not cheap and didn t do Anything to my truck.I left a message about a month ago still waiting for the phone call back from those guys.

Amazing Experience2012 Freightliner Cascadia Cummings ISX 15 450hpI called Monday morning with a loss of power issue.Fortunately I was 2 days ahead or schedule on my cross country run.They told me to come on in, day one they fixed my power loss issue (back pressure sensor) Day two they cleaned my exhaust system sensors took it all apart and put it back together. After they finished that they Put my Truck on the Dyno and it produces about 400Hp and 1400ftlb torq. I had previously added a fleet air filter and saw an immediate drop of about 1mpg in my fuel economy. Costing me over $100 a week in fuel plus the cost of the filter so I asked them to test the Vacuum pressure on the fleet air filter verses my old paper filter. They did this and confirmed that the new filter had a lower vacuum meaning it had a little better air flow, considering this I chose to keep the Fleet air filter. Then they reprogrammed my computer, which increased my Horse power to 527hp and my torq to almost 2000ftlb of torq. Sorry I don't have the exact numbers right now I miss place the papers.Now for fuel economyprior to fleet air and tune up3-21 7.15mpg3-26 7.32mpg3-28 6.78mpginstall fleet air filter3-31 5.97mpg4-3 5.96mpg4-4 5.48mpg4-7 5.61mpg4-8 6.35mpg4-9 5.42mpgloss of power check engine light (bad backpressure sensor)4-12 4.64mpgPittsburgh Power tune up4-14 7.88mpg I knew it was going to be good when I saw that I had gone 1000 miles and still had over 1/4 tank left.It pulls hills much better far less down shifting to pull hills far better fuel economy, and I was playing with the power so I'm certain i can get even better fuel economy with this new set up!!!I highly recommend this shop and had an amazing experience. No one is perfect I read the other reviews first and decided that if everyone that had a bad experience wrote a bad review and considered that some are just complainers and others have legit complaints, But those that are super happy which I am fairly certain are most say thank you and go on their way with out writing a review. Frankly you can not get the amazing reputation they have with out doing most everything extremely well, which for me they clearly did!!!SincerelyThank youJames BrownLandStar Driver

Was finally able to get a rebuild on my fuel pump ended up being more extensive than I had originally thought but as of yet I have no complaints in any way fast even with the drive time to and from maybe interested in a full tune for hp and fuel efficiency in the future just with the had a shop closer to home lol

Great people. Been here 4 times with 2 different trucks. Great work. Getting motor fixed after others messed it up.We have the Dorothy installed in our truck. This is what they found when they cleaned it.

These guys do it right! I can't afford to have down time and these guys found the problem with my engine and had her fixed and back on the road practically overnight and at a honest affordable price.Pittsburgh Power WILL BE my go to shop from now on!

Made online purchase for boost and EGT gauges. The website product description does not state that EGT gage comes incomplete without thermocouple or lead wire which both need to be purchase separately. After contacting gauge manufacturer I found out that they also make completed kit with everything ready to install but not offered for sale by Pittsburgh Power for the same price as Pittsburgh Power gauge only option. After ordering lead wire and temp probe the total price came up to exactly the double of what other distributors charge for the complete, ready to install kit.Very disappointed since Pittsburgh Power is suppose to be a reputable company but is not thorough in describing the product and overcharging for all the parts not provided but necessary for complete installation.

Best shop I've been to. If your are a O/O and have a older truck and tired of the dealers not wanting to work on it, or not knowing how to work on it. This is the place to go. This has become my main shop to get work done in the future.
