I was thrilled by the service I received at AAMCO. They not only reduced the cost of the repair by half quoted by another shop, but also provided me with an accurate diagnosis. What impressed me even more was that they were able to fix my problem on the same day. This saved me a significant amount of time, and I will definitely return to them for any future car issues.

After getting a lower Quote, and then having to spend 1k more on replacing my transmission then, I was told that my brand new radiator needed to be replaced, With their own. Afterwards My truck was over heating due to the fact that it was missing 1 1/2 gallons of antifreeze.I had to pay my mechanic to properly do a this 15 min. Procedure. It almost trashed my motor. Glad I have a great mechanic that spotted the problem before it killed my motor.I didn t care to have waited 5-6 weeks to get my truck back from AAMCO, but spending really good money, to get this kind of job done by experts really got me mad.I don t really what to do any more business with them. James was the person who helped me and was fantastic. He was pleasant, friendly and very knowledgeable. I scheduled incorrectly but James took me anyway and in a short time I'm was back on the road. First time here, I will be returning.

This place sucks they took two weeks to replace my alternator. They tried to up sell me and charge me $2000 dollars for a new set of tires and a battery. Then tried to get me to sign up for a credit card. Honestly if you can go somewhere else go there. They did a good job fixing my car when they got to it . But they'll try to rip you off as well .

I have been coming here over the last 6 years, often for alignments, inspection, and emissions.I usually try doing the easy jobs on my vehicles, but when I know I can not do the job myself, I reach out to James. They have been helping me keep my 168k miles vehicle in check. Just recently, I did some work and missed tightening up around, and they caught it, called me on it, and serviced.Thank you to James and the team at Aamco.

Very satisfied with the work that James and his crew did on our jeep! It needed a transmission and rear engine seal and they took care of it all in a timely manner and for a reasonable price! Thanks again guys! You have our business from here on out!

Went in for car inspection. Timing was very prompt. The owner James is very friendly and communicative. Shop is well maintained and waiting room, while small, is clean and kept at a comfortable temperature. (There is also a little jar of candy on the front desk if you want a snack).

I am very happy with the service and price.My first visit I was greeted and spoken to well when scheduling.I was greeted warmly when I brought in my vehicle, and they had my inspection and oil change done faster than I could get to my lunch break, and they were early!Overall good work is done here. I took my car to this place because it had a small dent, when I had to change it and they damaged my car, they made it worse than how it was, my car is 2020, they left it with an oil leak and the service is horrendous, what a disappointment, I don't recommend it, I'm going to sue

This AAMCO store is hands down 5 stars. My car failed the safety inspection due to my brakes and they helped me get financing and service to repair both front, rear, and pass inspection. These people have nothing but the best interest of everyone at heart. I have used this store numerous times and the service has ALWAYS been amazing. I will only use this store for my vehicle repairs. Had my 04 Accord lx here for a few weeks to fix the transmission and putting in a brand new clutch kit, this establishment does excellent and quality work! It almost feels like a completely different car now and I'm very blessed and thankful to all the individuals that worked on my vehicle and made it better than ever! Thank you truly! will definitely recommend this place to anyone needing there vehicle looked at.

DO NOT TRUST THIS GARAGE! I took my car in for bucking while on the highway when shifting into 4th gear. The tech drove it and couldn't recreate it so they checked my brakes. They told me I needed new pads. My car was recently inspected and the brakes were fine. They said they were below where it would even pass inspection. I didn't feel it was the brakes because the car did it while accelerating. I took it to the dealer. The brakes were fine, Aamco just wanted to make a sale so they lied.

Had my vehicle here today for 5 hours. They saying my car not done. My brother ran a mechanic shop. Midas, mineke Mavis, etc. The job that was being done was a tensioner belt and an alternator. My brother said it should only take couple hours even with hicups. Now saying they can t get it done until tomorrow when they promised me today it would be done. I want the district manager number to get in contact. Because as a manager you get out there and help get the car done because you promised the customer it would be done today. Whether it s closing time or not you stay and finish.

This place is really friendly and more than workable in fixing my vehicle. Also, they went out of their way to help me to get a rental so I could make it to my new job. I would highly recommend going to this location if you need your vehicle repaired.

This is a great place to take your vehicles in the Reading PA area! Good garages who you can trust are hard to find these days. Just used them for the first time in June of 2022. This garage was recommended to us by my brother-in-law so in the last 3 weeks we took both our vehicles in for inspection and I have to say both experiences were great! The staff all seemed friendly and professional. The price was more than fair and they delivered on their estimated time of completion. I would also recommend this garage to anyone looking for a place to get their car repaired or inspected.

On 5/5/23 I told the Manager James I was recording all Conversations with that Shop BEFOREHAND. Let me tell you WHY!!! Lou Service Director of Nissan Limerick told me they were LYING to me. They do not sublet or contract their Work. By law it HAS to be done on Site. Why do I have a recording of Josh at AAMCO Lancaster Ave telling Me Nissan had their Contractor come and put Software into my Cars Computer at AAMCO!! And he couldn't drive my Nissan to the Dealer because all their Bays were FULL so they couldn't do it there! Really? Nissan Service Director said there was NEVER any Appointment. And all the Bays were EMPTY all Morning!!! And you don't DRIVE a Car for Software updates anyway. Because it would of had to be TOWED OVER!! And he was going to chew out James's(Franchise Owner) A**!!! Ummm....yeah you got caught LYING!!! Josh told me to drop the Car off the Night before so HE could drive it to the Dealer! Let me tell you what really happened. JAMES THE OWNER had AAMCOS Contractor's put Software into my Car. Because as Nissan told me you can't drive it BEFORE putting the Software in. I never gave legal consent/permission for AAMCO to touch my Vehicle. Or do it at THEIR SHOP!! Why is that? Because they also lied and said it needed 2 Transmissions within ONE YEAR of buying a NEW VEHICLE!!! Yep . It never needed one. Apparently after talking to Nissan Dealer Professionals it only needed a SOFTWARE UPDATE on the Computer. James is a Slimeball that will do ANYTHING to make Money!!! Even off of Me. A Stage III Colon Cancer Patient with a Severely Autistic Child!!! What a disgusting disgraceful Human. And I'm BLACK. Mostly ALL the WHITE Google reviews are positive. And many Black/Latino Reviews are bad experiences. Trust me. They KNOW who to Play!!!. I wouldn't let them touch my Dog yet enough my Vehicle. Minorities STAY AWAY from here. Or you WILL BE SORRY!!! My Career is in Special Education and a Salon Owned Cosmetology since 1988. I know THOUSANDS of People!!! And I will make sure they ALL hear that recording of AAMCO lying to me. They picked the wrong Person to Ripp Off!!!

I've received good service at this location. I believe they are honest and very knowledgeable. They did my inspection and a few months ago they diagnosed and fixed an engine leak.

I am getting their services since 2016 for my car s state and emissions inspection, they never tried to trap on those inspections to sale their parts and labor.Well cheapest inspection place to go and for repairs as well.I like the staff and their services.

Tires didn't come in until late the day my car was to be done. The team was able to get the job done in less than an hour the next morning to guarantee I made it to work on time. So I ll start by saying this place is professional and the front desk guy wasn t so bad. However, they are true scam artist. When I spoke with the front desk guy I explained to him my problem with my car and if they can run me a diagnostic. I explained how my last mechanic Had taken advantage of me and I need somewhere new. He told he that they would take care of me. I drop it off and 6 hours later my car wasn t ready. Then I called him and he said in order to truly diagnose the problem they had to pick apart my transmission because my transmission was slipping and I most likely need a new one... I asked for my options. He told me that it would be up to $4,000 to rebuild it and if I were interested that I could apply to finance my repairs! Devastated by the news I told him I would call back. I looked into other alternatives from other Chevy owners and most recommended to switch out. I called him back with that option and he said the cost of that would $1,800 I asked why he didn t recommend that from the beginning, I didn t even mention that they kept my car over night til the next afternoon and never even called me to come get it! So after I pick up my car never once did he tell me I needed any kinds of fluid but he ran a diagnostic and a check over my car. When I went to another mechanic it was a simple fix. Literally $160! A loose line. Now tell me how in the world do you not see a simple fix and yet your charging an arm and a leg. You re charging 100 dollars an hour but couldn t diagnose a small problem and turned it in to a 4000 dollar job. Shame on the company preying on people during a pandemic. Save yourself time and money because after all this they still charged me 105 and couldn t tell me I need transmission oil!

I took my 2002 Toyota to this place of business without knowing what kind of experience I was going to have. I needed my car inspected and waited til the last week of the month with only days to spare to call. I was grateful for being squeezed in for an appointment and also for the cheerful and kind telephone experience. From the beginning a challenge started because of the check engine light. It had been on for an entire year ever since I bought the car from a used car lot in Birdsboro. I brought it back 3 times, each time the light would be off with a different explanation (if any) and come back on within a week or two.To make a long story shorter, James and Jochua and crew did their best to explain things to me, never charging me for first two visits, and when ultimately discovering the issue, inspected my vehicle and for an amazingly low price I received both stickers and drove away a very happy customer!I will continue to use Aamco as my new car mechanics and yearly inspection site. They were honest, friendly, professional and patient. I highly recommend them to anyone new to the area or looking for a refreshing experience when dealing with any car repairs. James and Izzy are fantastic and have helped me with many different issues, with several of our vehicles, through the years. They are upfront, and always try to figure out the best, and most economical approach to fixing our cars. They have literally kept a few of our cars running much longer than I thought possible, which saved us a lot of money and time over the years. We tend to drive cars to very high mileages, and it is critical to have people you can trust working on them, especially when normal wear and tear starts taking its toll on many different parts of cars over many years and miles. Izzy and the team are always ready, willing and able to help us, even on short notice. They've gotten us out of a few jams with their quick, efficient service when we didn't have a spare car as backup, most recently when starting a new job the next day. You can't find this special combination of professional, polite, honest, affordable and accurate just anywhere. It's obvious that they really do care about your car and your needs.

Very Happy with the work that James and the crew did with my Jeep. From the drop off to the pick up James kept me up to date on everything it needed and what to expect from the warranty company involved. Ultimately the repairs were completed in the time frame told upfront and within the budget allocated.After I took it back for the re-check they did my State Inspection and Oil Change which was inline with those around here and it needed minimal repairs to make it safe for me and my family.
