Walmarts auto service center are always slow and horrible but its the star employees who make it great. I needed a new tire to replace the spare and had a pick up order that was taking forever to fill. I ran back and forth with auto center and the pick up service area until finally at 5:30pm on 11/29 the lone young African American male working the desk at auto services aided me by actually putting in an effort to check my tire status. He actually found my tire sitting right outside with the order status not updated. He was able to push the order through and give me my tire in time for my installation appointment at a different car shop. I waited for hours inside the store and non of the other employees tried to help me at all except for telling me the order isn t ready without even checking the back. That young man needs to be given recognition for his effort in maintaining the last bit of customer service at Walmart. He s too good for Walmart.

I went to the auto service today around 3:45, because my car needed an oil change. I spoke to the cashier in the area and I requested the oil change, and they said it would take about an hour. The oil change ended up taking more than three and a half hours.

I usually dont make bad reviews but don't go here. I walked in asking if they got time for an oil change. Mind you it did not look busy.They say yea 30mins. I said cool. He put me in the system. Waited 2 hours, they never touched my car and he said he never put me in the system.....

If you wants your rims get scratched then visit this place. I changed my tire twice before never experienced this before. Horrible service.

I called the first time and someone picked up then put me on hold right away, must have forgot about me because I waited a half hour! Then I hung up and called right back, but all I kept hearing was the machine saying"Welcome to Walmart Auto Care", then it just goes competed quite. Same thing continues to happen, can't get a hold of anyone at all!!

Purchased a battery for my vehicle they installed free it s a 3 year warranty also. The guy was nice who helped me. I went after work so 15 minutes wait due to other customers ahead of me. Another 60 minutes as a wait to get battery installed because other customers cars getting service was ahead of me. Price for my battery was fair and less expensive than nearby competitors. Walmart gave me 12 bucks back for recycling my old battery. Lady that checked me out said I can call for an appointment in future. Busy day for everyone so glad my issue was resolved.

Slow service. Employee (Caucasian female) cursed at me for no reason. Guys working on the car were smiling the whole time though... I ll update this review if I notice improvement.

The Automotive Department at this Walmart must get paid for doing Nothing at all! They don't answer their phone seems like never, but when they do they Always put me on hold and never come back and answer it.How does this Walmart get customers without ever answering their phones!?How do they set appointments?

Absolutely frustrating and disheartening experience. Went in for a simple oil change. Was told it would be about an hour and a half. After waiting 3 hours in the waiting room, I couldn t wait any more. I had to go. The same cars I. The lot that were there when I arrived were still there. There were two mechanics working on tires and when they were give more paperwork, they seemed frustrated. I don t think it s their fault, I think they re highly understaffed. You think with just a barrage of negative feedback, Walmart would employ a few more mechanics.

Needed a car battery, the price quoted over the phone was less than I paid in store. Don't know what happened with the less expensive battery????

You know I hate going to this Walmart because of these little young kids that think they are running things like they are the bosses . y'all do realize when they put up store hours for the store your violating our our privileges to shop when the store hours have a set time , that's what time it opens that's what Time it closes.. If the store says 11:00 you don't shut the doors at 10:30 and tell customers that they're not allowed in there because you're all closed that's not how that goes I probably won't be going back to this Walmart because of the attitudes and the non-professionalism that people claim they have especially when you have people claiming that their managers and you're no such thing.. very unprofessional

You will wait, no one will pickup the phone. If you show up and there are 2 people in line in front of you, it will take half an hour to talk to anyone.That being said, prices are great! Cheaper oil changes and tires than anywhere else. Just don't go if you're in a hurry, leave your car there it you can.

STAY AWAY...My tire kept going flat. I have a warranty on tires. Took my truck to auto service Fri 11/27 (Black Friday) about 2pm, it was a COMPLETE NIGHTMARE!! Super crowded! The rep asked if i had an appointment, i didn't and explained the issue. He looked as my warranty and said, you were hear in March and there was no problem with your tire. It maybe something wrong with your Rim. Ok fine, can ya'll take a look? He said, No. I need to go to a Jiffy Lube or Pep Boys. I said, don't y'all do the same thing? He said No. They check/replace rims. So, i drove back in the city and had Brothers Auto Service take a look. Turns out, i had a nail in the tire, which they plugged costing me $20. I called Walmart Auto Service to make complaint and to make an appointment so they can replace tire as a plug only lasts for so long.... i called several times a day, getting no answer or automatically disconnected after 15 minutes of waiting. I went back to store Sun 12/6 to make an appointment. I explained to the rep what happened, after ALOT of back and fourth. He advised they could look now as it was not so busy, but they can only cut out plug and reseal, fixing the prob. After about an hour i was told my car was ready. When i got back a female rep advised me to speak to the guy, i initially spoke to as one tech told her no work was done because of where the hole was located. But, another tech told her the job was complete. She had no paperwork for me, only my keys. I just left, i have NO IDEA what all they did. But at that point I was completely frustrated!!Long story short, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME, at this location and AVOID PURCHASING THERE WARRANTY, as it is not honored with a Ton of excuses!!!!

Staff is friendly and polite, but I was told less than 90 minutes for oil change and 2 tires, that was over 2 hours ago and they've only changed the oil. I honestly think they serviced the people freaking out before me, which is only making me think I need to freak out.Update, we are 10 minutes away from 3 hours now

This auto care deserves 0 stars! No one is ever at the counter! When they are the associate is always on their phone or talking over customers to other employees. There is no communication whatsoever as to when they re going to be done working on your car. Unless you wait there for 10 hours, you have constantly call to get information as to when your car is supposed to be done. But when you call no one ever answers the phone in the whole store! Completely unacceptable! Dropped my car off at 7 am and it is almost 5 and I still haven t heard anything and have called all day & have received no answer to any department in the store. No I have to leave work and show up !

Don t come here for an oil change unless you want to wait 2 hours and be charged double when you go to check out just because they were out of the product. Without any call or notification that they would charge extra. Never again.

Terrible service , not honest about the price , unprofessional staff, they will rob you , I went there to replace tire, which had a bubble on the side wall , I got road hazard waranty , which means if anything happened to tire they will replace it for 10$ , and this is what they said , after they replaced thr bad one which was under warranty, they ended up charging me full price , and I told them i want my old tire , they said we would charge you 40$ for labor , absolute thieves.DON'T GO THERE.

Purchased tire from Walmart but they are unable to install it. they said the tire is too big for my land cruiser thing is they are too lazy to lift the 33 inch tires . So I went to local shop they install it right away..they install the same size tire on a different land cruiser from same Walmart lol couple months ago

Worst experience ever. Waited more than three hours to get tires put on and paid close to 300$. I will never come here again. They should hire new people because the lazy workers there are all dragging their feet like they don't want to be working there. Now, there was a customer before me waiting three hours for a oil change that should only take ten minutes at the most. At one point there was no one in the shop for more than thirty minutes, and the customer service is the worst I ever had to ever deal with. Would not recommend to even my worst enemy. I hate this place, ghetto, awful customer service, and lazy worker..

I went with my sister to buy milk for my baby and she was also going to buy a woman african american who did not want to sell me milk because my sister had already bought it. We went together but without separate accounts, she told me to go the next day

2nd time getting tires here and both times were great. First time I got there right before they closed and they still installed 4 tires quickly. Today I went first thing in the morning and was in and out with 4 tires and an oil change.

Bought 4 new tires. Had them installed. Heard a knocking sound as soon as started to drive. Didn t have it before.Took to my mechanic. He said tires I bought were no good.(good year)Came back to auto center, they said I had mechanical issues with my car:) that s why there was a knocking soundComing from the tires. Never using this place again.

I have to say the service was great and fast. Got 4 tires installed and balanced thought I was gonna be hours like other shops but to my surprise when I was done with my shopping the car was ready for me. Will be coming back here from now on. Highly recommend.

So I shouldn t even give a 1 star but there is no other option for me to start writing. My husband is being waiting for a oil change sense 3:30 this afternoon and they just got done now at 8pm That s absolutely Ridiculous he could ve gone somewhere but he figured sense he was already there he didn t mind waiting a little bit but almost 5 hrs ? BS obviously They think they are doing the customer a favor! Never never never again !

1st time it was awful, this was my 2nd time getting the full service oil change and I have to say Joseph was great. He actually did everything that you pay for and I mean vacuuming the car. He was helpful with answering questions that I had. Delightful and knowledgeable Wal-Mart auto care center needs more individuals like him.I didn't give a 5 stars because if I knew my car took more that 5 quarts (actually took 5.5) I would have like the option of putting it in myself or what they did by charging the extra$$ for .5 quarts.

terrible service, do not recommend. walk slowly, very lazy. it was necessary to change the oil, waited 4 hours, in the end they could not unscrew and did not change the oil. lost half a day
