I recently visited this store for an oil change, but unfortunately, I encountered a major issue afterward. The next morning, I discovered a significant oil leak under my car, accompanied by a concerning clicking sound. I immediately reached out to the company and opened a case (#134509), but despite their assurance that they would contact me promptly, it has been three days and I have yet to receive any communication from them. I keep calling them daily for any update but there is nothing.This lack of response is not only disappointing but also incredibly inconvenient as I rely on my car to commute to school. It's disheartening that they have not taken the initiative to address the situation or even offer an apology. I dont recommend any one to go to pep boys.

Micah was pleasant when I called to make the appointment and when I arrived he remembered speaking to me on the phone. My battery was checked and replaced in a timely manner. I was very pleased with my visit.

The service at this location was excellent! We got right in, our tire was repaired and we were back to our day within an hour! Very friendly and professional staff.

The guy at the front desk was great at handling my issue.The issue was resolved in 25 minutes. But my car had to sit idle up to 1.5 hours after the scheduled appointment time. This made me late for a business meeting that cost me money.

Go to another location instead of the Allegheny location. This location is bad. Unprofessional and ghetto. Went to get tires installed and left with a flat tire. Had to take my car back 2x to get my new flat tire fixed andy alignment fixed. Not one apology or care for the inconvience. Also did not let me know if i should stay and wait or anything. Just give me the car and bye. Also a worker was talking on the phone to his friend and I could hear his whole unprofessional conversation. Save yourself the time. Go to another location.

I tried to call the location to make an appointment to get my inspection done and I was directed to the website to make an appointment so I made the appointment online.30 minutes before my drop off time for the appointment I get a phone call that this location does not have inspection stickers for an inspection to be done and that I would need to make other arrangements they have not had stickers for over 2 months.

I had to get a new tire installed. The tire arrived late, and they were super flexible with rescheduling the appointment. They were very communicative about when the car would be ready. They even helped me put my bike in the trunk of the car, even though it was after closing time! Really amazing service. And the price was super reasonable.

Raul and his team did an awesome job on an oil change and brake pad replacement on my 2011 Tacoma. Cost was reasonable with no weird charges or upsells for random things I didnt need. Raul did a great job alerting me of what needed to be done and asking for my go ahead before proceeding with the work and incurring charges. HUGE thanks to Raul and his team, will definitely be returning int he future.

1hr to change a tire is absurd when you are the only vehicle in for service! The whole crew left and went to lunch 20 mins after I got here and proceeded to eat their food before starting on my car which took well longer than it should have to take one tire off and put one on.

I scheduled an appointment online for a tire patch. I had an appointment at 9 but the repair guys came in late, no worries I was not in a hurry. They misplaced my car key when I came to pick it up, so that didn t inspire confidence in me. They had to look for a while. And left their garbage in my car (see photos). Edited to add - the charged me for a tire repair and rebalance when I only wanted a tire repair. I had my tires rebalanced last week. Do not recommend coming here.

Great customer service from the assistant representative & her team when unsure or in need of car assistance the professionalism and pricing is affordable much so that you understand cars are like humans everything cost and needs to be treated as priority

Came to put new front tires. what an easy and simple procedure,right? did make an appointment an advance.However,it took them2 hours to put new tires and employe damaged engine cover when he pulled off my car from PepBoys garage. I clearly saw it and hear scratch sound-off course no apologize or attempt to fix it.They way they threat cars is horrible.All car is nasty,oily and damage after very simple procedure-2 front tire replacement PS: ladies at front desk are nice btw

Booking, drop off, pick-up and service was flawless. The wait time was ridiculous but I wasn't inconvenienced because I anticipated that when booking my appointment so I made other arrangements. I just would've preferred not to wait 6 hours for an oil change.

Called to replace a flat tire and they were able to help me immediately. The gentleman explained the pros and cons (and possible dangers) between plugging the tire and buying a new tire. He was very knowledgeable and guided me with my decision. Very quick service and excellent customer service!

The review below was from a few months ago, but I wanted to revisit it since I returned to the shop for another car issue and was once again blown away by their exceptional service. I called in the morning to schedule work on our broken AC, as well as an oil change and some other small maintenance. I spoke primarily with the new manager, Nu�ez, who was so helpful and professional. He told me exactly what he was going to charge up front, and clearly stated how that would change depending on what was found in the inspection. In the end, the team there diagnosed the AC issue (compressor failure), sourced the part, and had the vehicle back to me by the end of the day. Nu�ez even stayed a few minutes past closing time to accommodate my pickup. I am so pleased to have this shop as my neighborhood repair place!_________I called just a few hours before closing on Saturday to ask for an appointment to replace a flat tire, and was happy to hear they could fit me in that same day. The team was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout my service, and they communicated well at every step along the way. At such a fair price, this service is top notch.

AVOID. Just had my tires balanced there and after leaving it sounded like my left front tire was flat and going to fall off. I'm currently on a road trip so I stopped at a Mavis Tire in the next town over to have them look at it and they informed me that Pep Boys didn't put the wheel back on fully. They said when they put it up on the lift they could move it with their hand and it was about to fall off. I hate to think what could have happened should we have kept driving on it.Just got it back and NONE of the tires were on all the way, so it was even worse than expected

I hate posting negative reviews about local companies, especially ones that try their best but my recent experience with at the East Falls location of Pep Boys was terrible. The receptionist/advisors were friendly and polite (as they always are) but.....I did not receive any notification that my vehicle was ready for pick till I called the store at the end of the day. Furthermore, I brought it in originally, besides needing an oil change, because it was telling me that one or more of the tire pressure monitoring sensors was bad and needed to be replaced. I booked the appointment online selecting that option and advised the staff of the problem. When I picked my vehicle up they said that the sensors were fine and that something was just off with my tire pressure. Well.....the tire pressure light was on and after visiting a local gas station to check the tire pressures, one of the tires was obviously having an issue as the gauge at the pump was whacky and the tire light was still on - so there is still something going on. On top of that, the person that checked me in in the morning said that he could contact me to let me know what was going on and they never did, even after they diagnosed nothing wrong with the tmps sensors. So.....what do I do next? Take it to a reliable mechanic to have them diagnose and hopefully fix the issue since Pep Boys seems to not understand that they didn't address nor solve the issue.

Took my car in for new tires waited 5 hours for them to tell me that they damaged my vehicle on top of never completing the work. Had to take my car to a real dealership to find out that pepboy worker damaged my tires, wheels rims,and bent my struts on my car. However, customer service took almost a week before someone reached out to me due to me calling them to get some information. Now I have to come out my pockets for damaged to my car that pepboy did and they giving me the run around about who going pay for these damaged. I definitely learned my lesson i would never allow pepboy to work on my car. Not even my bike .

Today, I had the opportunity to visit the Allegheny store for the first time since I ve lived in the area for the last 30 years. Wow! I dated myself . Marshona, ASM was so pleasant and honest in assisting me with my questions and concerns. Alex, GST who looked at my car was very pleasant and knowledgeable about answering the questions we asked in reference to my car issues. I know that I will visit this location again just because I love great customer service. Most of all being a female looking to have car issues addressed just knowing that they put me first in my car needs was big to me! Thank you Marshona and Alexander!

Terrible shop. Rude unprofessional staff, poor service and they created a huge finacial crisis for me when they took my money and then accused me of not paying. Since they took my money I had to file disputes with both my banks and waited 2 weeks to get my money back. I am still climbing out of the debt they caused me.

Great experience and excellent customer service. Despite appearing overloaded with customers/tasks (to the extent where an irate customer was managed appropriately on the phone) both parties at the desk continued to stay positive and assist others as needed. Definitely will return for continued service/maintenance.

i wouldn t know how good the service is here. i had an appointment for an inspection on a monday (that their website let me make and confirmed multiple times). i took off of work for it. they called me 30 minutes before the inspection to say they can t ever do them on mondays. i don t know why the website lets people make appointments the shop is unable to keep. i m really frustrated because i chose pep boys over other places and now i don t have an appointment anywhere. they made no attempt to correct their customer service mistakes, and did not seem to care.pep boys is cheap and you get what you pay for.

What a great experience! The customer service was excellent, the communication top notch. We worked with the manager as she was managing the front desk at the time. We had a nail in our passenger tire and instead of doing the job, she was upfront and honest. Originally she said it wouldn't be an issue to fix so we went on a walk around the neighborhood. We get a call about 25 minutes later. The nail had gone in at an angle and would be too close to the tire wall. She recommended that we try to see if we can use the tire warranty. Wasn't pushy, she explained the situation perfectly and all around excellent. Highly recommend. We'll be coming back for general maintenance. The location is a bit tricky to get a spot but thankfully we found a close spot on Napa. Highly recommend

I came in the late afternoon for an inspection and Greg and his team were even able to fit me in to an already busy schedule. Not only that but they were able to get me out in under 2 hours. It was Greg and one crew member I believe and they both provided exceptional service!! I would recommend Greg and his team for any service needs. Thank you again for a great experience!!
