Awesome! Had a little work for my 2013 CRV to pass inspection and it was done well and for a good price!There are fewer and fewer good mechanics around these days and I intend to stay a satisfied customer. Pete and Rick are the best!

If you re after efficient service with a genuinely human touch, this could well be the only place for you. Be advised the waiting area is close quarters; if you prefer a large, corporate space to work while you wait, go to a dealer instead. Note, though, that there are several diners and such nearby on Germantown Ave. Again, these are human scale, small businesses. Not a Starbucks in sight! I ve only been for an inspection so far, so check other reviews for competence, value, etc. Personally, I know I ll be going back!

Great local, family owned shop that came with high recommendations from all of my neighbors. After 3 attempts at fixing a tire issue at others shops these guys fixed it in 1 try. They were honest and fast. My new go to neighborhood place for any car issues.

Everyone I spoke to was very kind. I had to reschedule my first oil change appointment because I was snowed in, and they got me in the following week and were incredibly understanding. I will definitely be returning for my inspection in a couple months!

I cannot rave enough about my experience with Monte and sons auto repair. I was in a difficult position where my car was in Philadelphia but I was home recovering from recent surgery. Monte and sons thoroughly examined my car, gave me not only complete details, but accurate pricing. They kept me informed and updated every step of the way, and I was not charged one penny more than the quoted price which, as you all know is very rare in this day and age. I cannot praise them enough for their honesty, diligence, respect, and courtesy.. I will never go anywhere else. thank you Monte and sons for turning a difficult situation. Into a blessing.

My former mechanic retired and I had been searching for a new car repair shop. I tried severa other places, but Monte and Sons was definitely the best experience. Reasonably priced, efficient, and honest. Definitely recommend!

Excellent first experience with Monte & Sons. Car inspection was overdue. Appointment made within a week. Pete was very friendly and welcoming upon arrival. Paperwork was ready for me adding to the smooth drop off process. Received a call the same day from Rick who patiently explained what work needed to be done. Car was ready the very next day . Fair pricing, good turn around time and a friendly pleasant experience.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Vehicle Inspection, Brakes, Wiper blade installation

I would say they're the best mechanic in the city, but I actually feel confident saying they're the best in multiple cities and states I've lived in. I've never felt so well taken care of. My first experience with them was when they could've made a bunch of money off me to replace brakes and instead they told me that given the age and state of the car (very old, last breath) that I should instead invest that money in a new vehicle. The trustworthiness started there and has only grown in the six years since. I don't feel like they ever try to upsell cause of my gender, and never condescended to - before Monte's this was an almost uniquitous experience. I get clear info on what's needed and the price feels doable.My car is happy, they're affordable and I highly recommend them. If I ever move, I could see myself driving long distances just to go here. Cause it's like that.

Family owned/operated and best mechanics ... Trustworthy, pricing is good. These guys treat you like a part of their family! My cars have been taken care of by them for more than 8yrs.

I LOVE these guys! They are friendly and helpful and honest. Everyone recommended them to me when I moved to the area and started having car troubles and knowing they're so reliable has taken tons of stress off my mind.
