Needed a new tire. They got me a tire and installed it for a reasonable price. I knew they didn t stock tires and would need to order it, so it would likely be the next day (not same day). They confirmed when I dropped it off in the morning that it would likely be the next day until it was ready, which was fine with me. All worked out according to plan, and I had my car back the next day with the new tire.My only small complaint was slow communication. When I dropped off my car, we weren t 100 percent sure that they could get the tire next day, and I asked them to call and confirm that they could once they called their supplier and placed the order. (If it was going to be two days, I wanted to try to go someplace where I could get it next day.) They didn t call me, so I called them later than afternoon. When I did, I learned that everything was in order; tire was ordered, would arrive and be installed next day. So no issues, but it would have been nice if they had called earlier to confirm everything was in order so I didn t need to worry. Again, minor complaint, still 4 stars!

Finally found a trustworthy auto mechanic !! They ve kept my car rolling for years and they re always at least 1/2 of what others charge sometimes even less than that. First found them after to a different mechanic down the street who charged me $1500 for a repair that broke again in 1 week. Came here they fixed it for $200 and it s never broke again now 2 years later they re my one and only stop for any car maintenance!

My husband and I were having break issues while we were about to leave town for a big work trip. Not only did the team at Midvale understand our panic, but they looked at our car within minutes, explained what was happening, and discussed all our options. They were honest and made us feel comfortable, speaking to us like neighbors or family and not customers. We ll be back every time we need car help and are so thankful this place exists.

Horrible I took my car to this place and kept having to take my car back to this place due to issues that they couldn't get right. I took my car to this place to see why my check engine light was in why my gas cap light was on and why my vehicle kept shaking after i would drive it pass 65mph. They gave me a tune up did a intake manifold on my vehicle etc and still couldn't fix it.Fast forward to now and im still having problems with my car. The parts that they put on my weren't no good because because currently have my car a another job for the same issues that I had. All I wanna say is this place took alot of my money to not fix any of my issues that was wrong with my car. I wouldn't never go back to this place. Each time they claim they fix the problem I found my self back there the next couple days for something else that they did. Never again...Never ever ever again. And that was my experience at this place.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I came to Midvale Auto after being ripped off by multiple local auto shops. I have never had a bad experience here.The relief I have knowing if something happens to my car, its not going to be a big deal is really comforting. Always a fair price and polite transactions. They take care of me, And I 100 percent recommend them to anyone tired of dishonest service elsewhere.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Oil change

Midvale Avenue is an excellent auto shop that does amazing work for great prices. I've been several times now for state inspections and regular maintenance and everytime the staff are exceptionally nice and helpful. This shop was suggested to me by a friend. Brought car in for low tire, they plugged and balanced tires within 2 hours. A week or so later a different tire became flat. Brought it back and they fixed it immediately free of charge. Staff is attentive and understanding. Their honesty is very much appreciated.Service: TiresService: Tires

A trustworthy auto shop that I trust to do a good job with my car. It's reasonably priced, though not the cheapest there is, but you get what you pay for. I've learned that from hard experience... So that's what keeps me coming here- I know they'll get the job done properly the first time. On top of that, they're very upfront, honest, and pleasant to work with. Even though I no longer live close, this is always the place I take my car.

I found this gem on Midvale Avenue as the result of a neighbor's recommendation when I needed a significant engine repair to my SUV. It's great to see the trades are alive and well in this shop. The staff (especially the office manager) were great and ensured I was fully informed about the status of my repair.I have since returned multiple times and had the same experience so it was strange to see the negative reviews from folks with the same last name. The shop even reached out to them with no response. So when I look at the reviews as a whole I eliminate those 3 bad ones as they are too similar and from persons of the same last name for me to give any credibility to.Thanks Midvale Avenue Automotive

Honest!!!!!I went to the place down the street from these guys for an inspection plus I was concerned that my brake light popped up but quickly went away. I was told my rotors needed to be changed, and therefore brake pads. A total of $338. Being a woman, I know to get other opinions.Midvale quoted me at a cheaper price and the woman on the phone gave me a detailed explanation of what might be happening, so I decided to bring it here.Come to find out, I didn't even need new rotors!! They saved me $338 cause I almost fell into the other places trap! So thankful and I will definitely keep coming here. All I needed was a little brake fluid

I was replacing my lower control arm on my vehicle today and I couldn't remove one of the ball joint races because of my lack of tools. I called Midvale auto and explained what I needed and that it was urgent. Even though they had completed work for the day they allowed me to bring the part in. When I arrived I explained how badly I needed this work done and 3 mechanics immediately came to help me with my situation. For whatever reason this race was extremely difficult to remove and they tried everything in the book to get it off. Thankfully in the final resort it popped off and I was able to complete my maintenance. Thank you so much for helping me today as I would have been stranded without your help. Quick, easy, and affordable! I dropped my car off in the morning, and in the early afternoon they called me, explained what was going on, and explained the cost. I will definitely be back again if I have car problems in the future.

I took my car here 2-3 weeks ago because my engine was misfiring. I told them that and said I believed it might have been an issue with the spark plugs. I don t think they really went beyond checking my oil (my oil was admittedly overdue to be changed) and said that that was likely the source of my car jumping and told me that my engine actually wasn t misfiring. Called back 2 minutes after leaving to say that the car was still jumping and was told to just let the oil work it'sWay through.Here I am a couple weeks later and my check engine light comes on flashing. I take it to my nearest pep boy s and within 5 minutes they told me I had a cylinder misfiring. I feel like Midvale Ave Auto didn t take my concern seriously and arrogantly dismissed my suspicions about my car trouble. I try to support small business over corporations but this was super disheartening and I now need a place with corporate to hold them accountable.

Spent about 1.2k here had an old Ford that needed a bunch of work to pass inspection New tie rod ends new tires and brake pads the whole shebang got them to provide me with a quote checked at a couple other places and not only did they have a little bit lower price and everything else but they threw in some extra work for me everything was done to specification and the cars running fine minus the fact is 20 years old you can't fix that. I brought two cars to them and work on both while it took longer than other places was done right and for the right prices That's the only thing against them if they tell you it's going to take a day figure it's a day and a half they say it'll be done in 2 hours figure on 3 to 4 but if they say 30 minutes they mean 30 minutes it's just like once they go past an hour they tend to lowball it.

Go there for an inspection and expect $400 dollars coming out of your pocket because the owner would make all the ok things in your car look like they are just about to fall apart because he does not care how hard a person works for his money. He is a complete rip off.

If I could give these guys a 0 star that would be what they deserve these guys literally ripped me off told me my tires were worn out where as I replaced all my four tires just three months ago also my brake pads were perfectly fine but made me replace the brake pads too because I was blackmailed by these guys as when I told them I don t want to do the replacements as all these things were fine they said they will fail the inspection and you still have to pay I do not recommend this place as for sure all the good review have definitely been written by these guys themselves.

Very knowledgeable automotive repair shop reasonable prices, in and out same day ,no check engine light on anymore for the first time, I know for sure my vehicle will pass inspection, i will not let anyone else touch my vehicle accept Midvale Avenue Automotive.

I just do not know why does this guy have good reviews, he is a complete rip off, I bet he wrote all these good review himself, went for inspection, he told me my good tires are not ok just because he wanted to sell me the tires he has, then when I refused he told you cannot take your car from until you pay the full amount, I had no option but to buy the tires he had, after a few minutes he told me your headlights are loose I have to change it, it's going to be another $50 just for light bulbs, never recommending this place to anyone, went in for car inspection, came out paying $350.
