Got a nail on my tire on this last snow day. These guys were able to schedule me the same day and help me out with a fair/affordable price. I m glad they offered to patch it up without forcing me to feel guilty about not buying/exchanging a new tire. They have a small waiting area with a bathroom, in case you want to wait for your car. Would definitely recommend this place based on my pleasant experience.

Straight to the point! Literally!I took my car to Meineke about a week ago. For a second time within two weeks! Even though I mentioned an issue with my tire that was becoming blatant, I passed my yearly inspection. Perplexed, I drove off and the next day my tire light shone brightly again! I couldn t understand why they d ignore me. Today, I got a recommendation to try this shop. A screw was found immediately in my tire and it was replaced promptly. No day long wait time as I experienced at Meineke. Everyone was courteous and professional. I am very happy with my experience here! These gentlemen got straight to the point!

Very friendly and honest staff. Quick and reliable service. After spending a disappointing 1.5 hours at Pep-Boys we called ahead of time to get a price quote and an estimated wait time. The price we were told over the phone was the same price we paid at the counter. We were told there was no wait time and sure enough the car was in the shop in less than 5 minutes and we were back on the road in 25 minutes. Really appreciate Mid-City. Couldn't be happier with the service received. Thank you!

I called first and the counter guy said he could do my leaking tire replacement while I waited. The price was right and I was done in less than an hour. There's a small waiting room. He was honest-no upselling. He offered to plug the leak which would be cheaper. But these were older tires that had been patched before. They take cash and cards and didn't charge a premium to use a card. I would use them again for a car repair.Services: Wheel alignment, Auto tire replacement

We discovered Mid-City Tire & Auto a few years for our annual car inspection and they are consistently reliable and honest. Easy to schedule an appointment, knowledgable and courteous employees, and always an all around pleasant experience. Highly recommend!

10/10. Just a place I trust. Had my oil changed / tires put on / etc at this shop multiple times over the last 4 years, and always a good experience. My wife comes here as well, and they've always been just as great with her as they have been with me.Crystal-clear pricing, no sneaky fees or pushing for upgrades I don't need. Plus, when they say your car's gonna be ready by 3 pm, it's usually ready before then. Bonus: you're likely to meet a french bulldog or two when you go in.

Great service, very attentive to detail, honest pricing, and able to move fast to help me get my car out of a bad situation.We called in the morning following an incident where my car required new tires and wheels and were able to get them put on my vehicle and have the car looked at within the same day. if i could give this place 0 stars i would.rude, greedy, male misogynists. went to pep boys immediately after and had a COMPLETELY different experience where i was treated with respect and had a lovely time.

First time customer. They had their chance to impress me and failed miserably. Service was great initially. I visited the shop and had 4 new tires put on my truck. I made it less than 5 blocks from the shop before the front driver tire fell completely off the truck, leaving it incapacitated in the middle of a south Philly street. I called the shop, they sent someone right away. They put the tire back on the truck, and I got it back to the shop to check things out. After another short stay at the shop they said everything was good to go. The only compensation I was offered was a couple free oil changes, however I declined because the shop is not local to my house. I also do not trust them to perform an oil change at this point, if I have no way to verify it was actually done. I received little to no apology, and will not return. I spent over 800$ on tires. I expect them to be installed correctly. I can t recommend this business due to the critical nature of this error, and for the minimal effort to rectify their vital mistake.Service: Tires

My tire blew out on I-95 this morning, which was a really fun experience. I took my car to Mid City and they had a new tire on my car in 20 minutes. Good price & didn t try to upsell me on anything. I also have a lot of tire anxiety, and the guy answered all of my dumb questions about tires, too. I d recommend anyone to go here for quick, easy, friendly, and reasonable service.

I had a slow leak on one of my tires. Brought in my van after a call and the team found the leak, patched it and got me back to my day in less than an hour for a very reasonable price. Fantastic shop and team. Thanks!

I have utilized Mid City Tire & Auto's vehicle safety inspection services for 3 years. They do a phenomenal job. They are generally very busy, and so it is helpful to take an appointment if the car does not require immediate attention. They are proactive in reaching out and keeping us updated, should there be an unavoidable delay in getting the vehicle back to you. I had a flat and brought my car here. I've been here numerous times where they were able to just take out a nail and plug my tire for like 20 bucks or so. In this case, the tire was not repairable. They were able to get me 2 new tires ASAP for a good price and I was in and out in a total of 10 minutes. They are so quick, knowledgeable, friendly, and my go to for anything tires. My fiance has been here as well for flats and they treat her incredible as well. Thanks guys!Service: Tires

I walked in at 1:35 pm and asked for a quick tire plug. A quick 10 minute job. The guy at the front desk told me he was about to close and he couldn t help me. He sent me away without even thinking twice. Absolutely terrible.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!The worst experience I have ever had with a mechanic or with customer service in general. I brought my car in for my alignment to be adjusted, and to replace my headlights. When I received my car, none of these were completed, but I was charged $1200. I spoke with them on my way out, as I required my car for work. They agreed that I should return the following day. The next day they proceeded to charge me an additional $300!!!! Although none of the work had been completed the first day and it was a significant inconvenience to return to their shop. I would give them negative stars if I could. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Only wanted air in my tires . No one acknowledged me when I pulled up . Went inside and the front desk man said nothing to me . After 5 minutes of standing there he said someone will help me in a minute . I sat in my car for 15 min no body came!! All the workers were sitting around !!! That s ridiculous if you don t want to work get another job !

I have been taking my cars to Mid-City for almost ten years now. They are faster and more reliable than any other car repair or dealership I have dealt with. The employees are knowledgeable and friendly. Their prices are very reasonable. I have never experienced anything but consistently good quality. The absolute worst experience I have had with a mechanic!!!Charged me $1200 for adjustment of my alignment and for replacement of my headlight/ tail light. When I received my car, neither the adjustment nor the lights were repaired. I noted this to them, and they requested that I return the following day, at which time they charged an additional $300 despite having NOT completed the job the previous day and having told me they had. A complete lack of regard for another human, much less for a place that should understand customer service.Cannot rate them low enough. Steer clear!Service: Steering & suspension repair

Mid City Tire & Auto is family-owned and operated business is known for its swift, efficient, and courteous service. My first impression is they have a clean and organized shop. I went in to get my flat tire patched. After 45 mins of waiting (gets busy pretty quickly), they were able to resolve my issue. I really enjoy the professionalize and empathy. There are a few things I think the business needs improvement. 1) consider having people make appointment. 2) List your prices on your website for search engines to crawl (increases visibly on the web) and 3) have a reward/point system. Overall, I recommend their services to my friends and family.Service: Tires

Went to get an inspection, and accidentally locked my keys in my car. They were SUPER nice about it and took care of the situation and didn't make a big deal about it. I first went to Mid City for my inspection over the summer, and I'm so glad I did. Since then they've been helpful, honest, and professional in fixing the few one-off issues my car has had. Everyone there is friendly and takes the time to explain things in detail/answer my questions. Place is a scam. Charged my wife $100 for a state inspection. They clearly just wanted to take advantage of her. Inspection should cost $30 max. Do not recommend.

Nothing like the feeling of starting your morning with a flat tire before starting the work day. Fortunately, I had a tire pump to pump some air into the tire before making my trip to Mid City.
