Took in for inspection. Said I needed back breaks and drums, told them to replace to the breaks, (drums still have plenty of life) got car back later that night and breaks didn t work at all. Car was not test driven after work and breaks were not properly adjusted after installation. Did not bring back for fear of being charged more. Brakes worked when I dropped the vehicle off. Would not recommend.Great now I m a liar. A 2008 Honda fit, with 320k miles and a squeaky belt. The brakes worked when I dropped it off and they didn t work when I got it back.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Mechanics not very friendly. Requested a quote for tires and never got a call back. I know you're not a tire shop. But when I asked. Your employees said the would get a quote and offered to call. So I'll add doesn't stand by their word and rude to my review as well.

Straight robbery. Named one price on the phone and added new price when I arrived. So it came up to $47 to change 1 tire. I had my own tire. I waited for 20 minutes at the shop, looking how workers chill, laugh and do nothing and just left. Thanks for waisting my time. I will avoid you next time. You guys have fun scamming people

If I could give them 0 stars I would do that. In my opinion, this is a complete scam and rip off shop that with the poker face takes advantage of people. When i asked for an oil change and a quick brake pads check (which i mentioned to be either no charge or disregard) - not only Joe the business owner charged me $25, but nobody mentioned to me how much longer are the pads going to last for. Just said brakes are fine. This is not like the brake checks are done.Avoid this place like a plaque.Also, if you think the staff performs below the standards, feel free to address the issue to the Better Business Bureau.Oh, and one more thing, here's a receipt that business owner often asks for when a bad review shows up

The auto technicians at J&C Automotive center are tops in their field. They re courteous, professional and efficient. I ve taken my vehicles there for over 20 years and never been disappointed. I m a shopper and their prices are lower than most other repair facilities and certainly below dealer prices. Excellent work and professional service. Always a great experience! I had my car's heating system fixed most recently but have previously had oil changes and other maintenance work done at J&C. Had my wife's car inspected here. They told me the brake light bulb was out and charged me $150 usd to replace it. It is a $4 dollar bulb. And replacement labor was 4 minutes tops. Several days after the inspection I checked all the fluids like power steering and brake fluid and both were critically low. They overlooked it. The car had 3 shocks leaking oil. The inspector did not bring it to my attention neither. I got my stickers on a car that was not safe to drive and was charged $150 for a 5 minute job.Having spent a decade in automotive business I can tell this is a toxic practice. I would not recommend anyone working with this shop.P.S. I am writing this review now because I found the bulb they said was faulty and tested it. It lit up.

Went in for a routine inspection the vehicle was not returned in the condition that it was brought in. The removed wiring covers poked holes in brand new wiring to test for no reason and did not cover it. The removed a tube from my air system and did not replace it. Which probably caused my check engine light to stay on longer than necessary save time and money go somewhere professional. They also requested an obscene amount of money to repair it and likely told me parts that did not require replacement in the first place. It sounded like for the check engine light diagnostic they were going to replace expensive parts that did not require replacement such as my ecm(engine control module) (computer) save your self run and stay away! This is the correct business I am reviewing I just took a while to post it. It is at academy and byberry rd.

Unfortunate experience with local Dealer Service Department...3 different visits with a vehicle under warranty. Happy to have found this place, they identified the issue in 10 minutes and managed a reimbursement with the 3rd party warranty company. I ll be bringing all my vehicles back to be serviced.

High quality work, I had a wiring problem nobody wanted to touch, JC took care of the problem. They kept excellent comminicated about the issues and set clear expectations the entire time so there was no surprises. This was my first time at the shop and I know I can rely on them to do excellent work.

It's absolutely outrageous for these guys to charge me $118.62 just for oil change and emission sticker for my 1999 Toyota Camry. They charged this amount to punish me for not accepting the inspection which they put at over $1000. Please stop ripping off your customers.

Avoid that place at all cost. They are scammers. I went there for my chevy cruze to replace my rear break pads and rotors and they charged me $219 for replacing only the pads for the front instead after waiting for 2 hours. I noticed that and went back to have them fix it.They told me that it was my mistake, not theirs. Everything was confirmed for rear break pads and rotors before i went there. Joe seemed to be the boss told me that he'll have it fixed for just a little bit more and I agreed only to find out that he wanted me to pay $100 more. I refused since the agreed price for the job was $219 to begin with. So he only changed the break pads and that was all and that took two more hours.Not only they charged me for front rotors and pads that i didn't need which they didn'teven replace because they told me that they put my old front pads back and kept the new rotors that they put. That was a lie since the one i had was brand new. I had it done recently, the money i paid was only for the rear pads. I got ripped off at that place. I will never go back there again. I wish that i could rated them 0 start because that was what they deserved. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE. YOU'LL BE DISAPPOINTED. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.

Had car inspected AND repaired in 6 HOURS. Quick call back with work needed. Final bill was right at the estimate. Everyone knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Will use J&C for all my car needs in the future.

If you go here do your homework, as they try to find unnecessary repairs, had my grand marquis that was repaired for something simple they overcharged me for items said I needed but were not needed , by default Iwent to another shop and found out....the second time I went there I had a older Lincoln , I taken my car to them same deal, not a foul anymore
