First-time visit, great experience.The sure sign of a trustworthy shop, in my book, is when you bring in your car with an issue that seems big, but they assure you it's a simple fix that won't cost much. That's what happened to me.They also got me in the same day I called. Thank you!

Update 4/25/23: 6 years after my initial review, these guys are still excellent. Just had a hidden trailer hitch (from etrailer) fitted on my Forester. Looks beautiful, and I have the removed rear bumper beam back with me if I ever need it replaced. Awesome service, great price. Thank you SO much!---Always friendly, reliable, and great value for money. They only do what is needed to be done without a high pressure sales pitch. Best car mechanics I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with so I recommend them without hesitation.

Had my car for about a month and left it parked around the corner from their shop. Never worked on the car at all. Kept saying they would but never did however they worked on other cars that were dropped off after mine. Don't waste your time with this place, your car isn't important to them.Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

Honest work for a very reasonable price. I asked the mechanic to change my brakes which were squeaking. But after assessing the brakes, the mechanic said they were high quality so even though the brakes squeaked they had a lot of mileage left in them and he decided not to change them. On that day, I only paid for a bulb change and another minor fix. He could have done the expensive brake fix that I asked for, but instead he was trustworthy and had the customer's best interest in mind.

Love these guys, will always take you, do a great job, fair prices and very kind / respectful. Not always the case when you are a woman having something done to your car. Thank you for being right down the street from us, love your shop!

This shop and the guys there are stand up guys. They know what they are talking about and our reasonable price. Thanks Dave for working on my car after hours and to the rest of the guys thank you. You have no idea what I been through with my car. I only wished I found you sooner.

David s Incognitos is the only place I ll take my car. I really trust their work, their prices are true for the service and they are all really nice guys.They are my car family. I would not hesitate recommending them to anyone.

Great shop with friendly service. I prefer this shop as the owner offers more realistic solutions to problems rather than making stuff up to eat your money. The prices are lower here for services than most shops that i am familiar with. They take good care of your car and treat you like a friend, i recommend this shop!

We had never been here before but came in after we saw the great reviews, and they exceeded my expectations and more. Didn't even charge me a dime! Super honest and trustworthy mechanic, I highly recommend!

Excellent shop. Honest and fair. Prices are low. I have been getting my cars repaired by Incognito since 2006, and I always recommend Incognito to my friends. The building may not be attractive, but they do good work here.

I love this place. Honest, friendly and competent. We started going here when we lived in Chestnut Hill, we've since moved but are more than happy to go out of our way to stick with our trusted Mechanic.

Can't say enough about Dave and his crew and the most important thing to say is that they are honest.Went to IAR based on a recommendation from my next door neighbor after I got a used Mercedes. Worried that the maintenance might break the bank I was willing to do as much as possible myself. On purchase I knew it needed a control arm and the locking lug nuts removed so I could put new tires on. Dave and his crew busted the nuts for free (a guy in Trevose was going to charge me $80) and were half the price on the control arm. He even suggest that I get parts on my own sometimes because it will save me money. Based on this, my car goes nowhere else, even for inspections. Worthy of every dollar spent.

Urged by a couple happy customers in Mt. Airy to use Incognito, I'm also pleased with their services. They are good troubleshooters, for one thing, having identified a couple issues that left another mechanic scratching his head and making bad guesses.Also, they are flexible with their schedule and I've never had to wait days to bring in a car for an (overdue) inspection or to fix a problem that needed immediate attention. "Sure, bring it this afternoon or tomorrow morning -- no problem." That's something a customer always likes to hear.

Been using them over a year now and they always give good service and tell me what is necessary. I only drive european cars so im always wary about who i give my car to and pricing, but i never have to worry with these guys.

The first time I interacted with Incognito was a Saturday morning. The hood latch on my car broke as I was about to leave on a long trip. I called Incognito before they even opened, and they told me to meet them there in 5 minutes.About 30 minutes later, he had fixed my hood latch and told me no charge. I've been going there ever since. Good, honest, repair shop.

Dave that owns the Shop hes a good mechanic, As a woman he does not do unnecessary work on cars, (like other Car Shop does), He guarantees all his wrk, They R very nice, friendly & very proffesional.....The prices are reasonable to B a Shop on American Cars, They do everything here, Engines, Transmissions & all Emssions work !!!! They do fix Foreign Cars as well !!!! They will figure wht the promblem is wth ur car, Truck, Van etc......I hve brung all my cars here 4 many yrs !!! I dnt trust nobody on my vehicle's but this shop !!!

For those of you who just cant find good quality mechanics, you have found paradise. I have 3 cars , 745i, x3 and lr3 and i must say they get cared and repaired right the 1st time. The best im Mt Airy, trust me, you'll regret going anywhere else. Quinn and Natisha Smith

Real old school garage: no techs in matching uniforms. Not always the best at remembering to call and tell you what's going on so plan on hitting them up frequently. That said, I wouldn't trust my my classic 60s vehicles (or new ones, actually) to these guys. Just remember to call them again...
