Ordered parts over the phone very easily, they sent pictures beforehand to ensure it was what I wanted and the condition was good.Only thing I can say that is negative about the yard is that they should expand their shipping options for larger parts like car hoods, trunks, etc.I 100% plan to return again when in need of parts

I have been told they close at 3 during the week which is ridiculous and was told to pay ahead of time for a pick up on Saturday from 8-12 and I am here and it s 9:23 been here since 8 and no one is here this is poor customer service. I m not sure why some reviews are lying about them being open on time which they can t mean Saturday maybe during the week but today is insubordination!! Abomination and outrage against nature!! I m so damn irked!

Lack of communication I called Essington a day before going there to see if they had the parts I needed the person that I talked to over the phone never told me that I would have to wait until the next day to get the part so when I went up there the next day trying to get the parts for my car the guy at the desk told me that I will have to come back tomorrow that they gotta get the part off the car so I go back the next day for him to say he s taking it off the car now that it will take 45 minutes but he had a whole day before that to take it off I paid him half of the money and all

I came from lindenwold after seeing they have the hood for my car a mazda 3 via online . Good website came in got what i needed , and the mechanic even helped me put it on and dispose of my old one . Witch i thought was cool & before i left a dude came out and handed me 2 water bottles , one for my daughter & I , great experience overall. I did wait an hour for my part to be taken out but at the price i got it i was happy will be coming back

Was looking for an 08 Passat rear windshield because mines got destroyed from a bird dropping a small rock (I wish I was kidding but cameras tell me otherwise) and happened to stumble across their store on eBay. Tons of parts online which made finding what I need quick and efficient, so plus on that. Decided to give them a call since a brand new one was $250. Person on the phone was nice and courteous; requested a quote on the item listed on eBay and if there was a local price to which we struck a deal on since it was only 10 minutes away from me.Went over the same morning to pick up. Was a bit confusing on who to talk to but there's a big metal door that you enter by ringing the doorbell (also kind of hard to tell where if it's your first time). Got to the counter and was greeted by the receptionist (forgot who but there were 2 people with the same name I believe). I told them my order, paid and received the item as described!Overall a great experience and saved me a ton of money. I will definitely be coming back to them for future parts should I need them since they have a wide variety selection and easy to navigate eBay store to get what I need. I see that they buy junk cars, so that's something I might try out in the future and update the review accordingly when I do decide that.

Bought an engine for my truck. It stated that it had not been tested but that it was running when it was wrecked so it should be fine. I was skeptical. Ends up, everyone here was polite, friendly and professional and the engine ran and is still running great. I believe you can buy here with confidence.

Great email communication with Nick, prompt response to quote request and answers to my additional email questions.Paid over the phone and was told about 2 hours for the part to be pulled. One hour later I received a call that part was ready to be picked up.Location was a bit hard to find for a first time customer but all was good. The building is clean, and organized, and the service at the counter to pick up the part was great.Would definitely recommend this location and will keep it in my resources for future parts needs. Thank you Essington Auto for a great experience!

This is the BEST place to go if you need any used parts for a great price. All parts are tested before selling them. 30 day warranty as well. Nick and his staff were very helpful and welcoming. Nick even went the extra mile as to come look at under my hood and make sure I was buying the correct part. Very honest people. Very nice family oriented business. Waiting room is very clean. I have all but nice things to say about this place! Oh and me and my grandma enjoyed driving down the driveway to witness old antique fire trucks, ambulances, police cars, etc. Cool

Essington Ave Used Auto Parts picked up two cars from me. They gave me a very fair price for them. They were extremely professional from the very beginning, with prompt courteous service from everyone involved with the transaction. I have decades of experience with cars as a hobbyist and a professional working within the industry. Service like this, that is delivered on time, as promised, with courtesy is extremely rare. I highly recommend them.

They had the car part I needed for a fair price. In this case a hood. Their customer service seemed above average for scrap yards, not taking long at all to tell me whether or not they had the part I was looking for. They took my old busted hood off my hands at no charge. And one of their employees helped me attach the new one as well which was appreciated.

Called looking for a part, got quoted a price that is 125-150% over there competitors. They are overrated and over priced. This is what I get for listening to my 1sgt. Would not recommend

Super easy to work with! Used the online submission process which couldn't have been any smoother. Really fast service, fair prices paid and car was gone 24 hrs later by a nice tow driver. Highly recommend!!

Seemed like a decent place when I called yesterday for some parts spoke to a nice women over the phone fender $75 and a passenger marker light $30 !!Showed up today a bald headed gentleman at the counter quoted $175 for the fender and $35 for the marker light? I was hustled for sure and didn t appreciate that since it was allready quoted by Sam well they will crush that car anyway, it s bad business my friend u have a lot of good reviews that s why I showed up and it seemed the prices where reasonable when I spoke to Sam over the phone u didn t even have the decency to confirm this with Sam u just gave it to me up the wasool.I only bought marker lights and had to pass on that fender because you re nuts I won t pay youre price. Go ahead and don t help me out and honor a quoted price from a fellow owner / worker crush that car with the fender who cares let this review haunt you forever.

It was a painless transaction. I filled out the online form for a price quote for my junk SUV.Nick got back to me quickly and gave a fair price. I emailed back and called the office. By 1pm the vehicle was picked up and I had my money. Would definitely use Essington again.

I recently salvaged my car here and it was such an easy process!! I was contacted via email after I filled out the online form on their website. They picked up my car from the mechanic and sent me a check in the mail within a couple days. Nick was also super helpful in taking some pictures of the car for me. I highly recommend. Very professional and so nice too.

Essington made selling my disabled Accord easy. They made a fair offer, showed up right on time and paid as agreed on the spot. In under five minutes, the transaction was completed and the vehicle was on it's way. Essington made the best of a bad situation. I would definitely call them first next time.

Meet the owner and his son. Very kind peoples that went beyond normal customer service to help. And the place is very professional, well kept and the help was very friendly too. I plan to use them first whenever I have a use parts need. I travel from Delaware to do business there and it worth it. Very very satisfied with the engine I purchased there. And the price was very reasonable

This place has a lot of older cars available. The customer service is very helpful. I do wish they would let you work with their parts pullers, as they are not a u-pull yard. Sometimes when pulling older fragile stuff, the customer may know a certain car better, especially old ones that the employees don't work on often, and could be helpful in removing things easier and lessen the chance of breakage of parts. Even charging a little more for the employee's time would be fine.

There is a young guy there who is always nice and respectful to me. He allowed me to do an exchange on an item once with a $25 extra labor charge of course but I was fine with it. I liked that they had the stuff I needed for my car. The only thing I hate is that if the item is not big ticket enough on price then I feel like I get the cold shoulder because they only have so much labor that they would prefer to use it for something else. Which I can understand. However, when I offer to do it myself because I have done it before many times and can remove it quickly they state they do not allow customers to pull the part themselves. I mean I have spent money there before l, so I am a repeat customer, but I just wish someone else had the car/parts I am looking for as well. I almost want to buy the whole car from them when they say stuff like that just to not have to deal with that stuff anymore. Hmmm? I wonder how much that would be worth?

This is a great place with great service! The people here are super friendly and helpful. They have a large inventory and are always willing to help you find exactly what you need. The business itself is clean and you feel comfortable going in there...most other yards in that area are gross and really rude and can be intimidating to deal with, especially as a young woman. None of that nonsense here. Great service, would definitely return for car parts!

We had a great experience with this salvage yard! The owner Nick Brosko was quick to give us a fair quote on our car and field our questions. Pick up of our car was on time and the tow truck driver was very friendly and helpful, and paid us in cash. Would definitely use this business again!

I would like to share an amazing customer service experience I had today with this organization. I called looking for some Acura wheels and the owners daughter (Sam) was courteous, knowledgeable and willing to do what was necessary to get the sale (that being sending pictures of the wheels). Being in business myself for years you don't always find someone who shares the same values and integrity in business that you do, and I've found that today in Essington Auto, specifically Sam. She is not only a credit to her organization but should stand as an example to others striving to achieve a higher level of customer service experience in business. THANKS SAM!!!Shawn

Sam made setting up pick up for our car easy. She was able to answer all of our question and definitely confident and well versed in her profession. We were just glad to have them tow our car for free but then they insisted on giving us some money for what we saw as a "lemon". Mr. Brosko had no problem towing our car away. We live on a street with street parking, but he had no problem maneuvering his flat bed tow truck. Highly recommend and definitely will use Essington Avenue again.

I highly recommend this business. I needed my daughter's car picked up from the dealer and dealt with because it was no longer usable. What complicated this is that I am in pittsburgh and the car was in Philly! Nick handled everything for us thru emails and over the phone . The transaction was seamless and smooth. He took a lot of stress off of us. He was professional, courteous and and competely trustworthy .

Scrapped my old car with these guys and it was a great experience. Got rid of something I didn't use anymore and got a fair price for it with a free tow. Tow truck driver was very professional and the whole experience was painless and fast.

This the worst business I been too. I came here to buy a used alternator when I got here the caucasian young lady up at the front desk didn't even acknowledge me I had to continually say hello to get her attention. Then the alternator that I brought looked worst then the one I was replacing. I tried to take it back on Monday when they are open cause they are closed on the weekend but when I got here on Monday at 9:30 thinking they would be open cause they say they open at 8:30 but I get here and the gate is still locked and I'm calling the business over and over and over and somebody in the business is forwarding the call.im highly upset.never shopping here again. I would take y'all money else where.
