These guys were top notch. I called around 10am and asked if they could run diagnostics to why my brake light comes on randomly. Plus I needed an oil change anyways. They not only diagnosed the issue but told me the cost and that they could get it done by 4/430. I quickly googled comparative pricing to see if it was a good deal and decided to let them do the work. Not only was the service great and fast, they were extremely friendly at checkout and knocked a few more bucks off. Made my day. They gained a customer for life. I have consistently gone to Frank and the team here at Eleventh Street Auto for my annual inspections and oil changes. They always charge a fair price and are incredibly transparent about what repairs have been done. Good, honest work. Sadly, they recently announced that they will be closing up shop at the end of May 2023. Wishing them nothing but the best.

Honest, fair, high quality, cool people ... I mean, I really don't know what else to say about a place that fixes your car. It's really as simple as mechanics you can talk to, who do excellent work, and who aren't overpriced.I'm an electrician and there are very few places I feel comfortable leaving my work van with all my tools and everything. This is definitely one of them.

Do not go here for inspection! This business told me i needed 1700$ -YES, $1700!! - worth of work done on my car in order to pass inspection! I got a second opinion and was told I d need some work within the next 6 months totaling just about 600$.11th street auto saw me from a mile away and ran a dishonest business to make a quick buck. Take your business elsewhere for better, honest service.

I moved to South Philly and needed a new mechanic. These guys are friendly and always get me in quick and in most circumstances have my car back to me on the same day. Their prices are fair and you have the added bonus of being able to park your car in their lot. If you need a mechanic I highly recommend Eleventh Street Auto.

I've gone to various car repair places for the past 10+ years in Philly and have never been truly satisfied with any of them. My car had a few issues recently and 11th street was close to my house and very highly rated, so I brought it in. Very polite, very helpful and had my car running great again by the end of the day. The pricing was more than fair and I really felt good after the experience. I don't wish any more car issues on myself but now that I've discovered 11th st, it wont be so nerve racking getting them dealt with. Give them a chance.

These guys are the best. I bring it in for everything. Oil change, inspection, repairs. Every time they are honest, reliable, trustworthy, thorough, quick, and friendly. Could not recommend a better place to bring your car

These guys are the best! They fixed my car really fast and did an excellent job. I was there 8 months ago and still remember how much I liked them and trusted them right away. The owner is a smart friendly guy. Highly recommend.

I have been taking my 95 Toyota Avalon to Eleventh Street Auto Repair for over 10 years. They provide reliable, expert, and trustworthy service. On one occasion when I needed the steering box (rack and pinon) replaced, they suggested that I take it to a Toyota dealer who would have more experience in this type of repair. In the dozens of other occasions, they have maintained the car so well that I have been able to take it on long distance trips even though it has 140,000 miles on it. I cannot say enough about how reliable and friendly they are. In my opinion, the best car repair shop in Philly!

I am so happy I found them!! My car s AC was not working and they fixed it the same day. Prices are fair and all my questions were answered. This is the best experience I have had so far at an auto shop.

They tried to take advantage of the fact that I was a woman by asking me to pay $650 dollars to make necessary repairs to my car in order to pass the vehicle inspection. Little did they know that I am very aware of the good condition of my car and decided to take it to another mechanic in the city. Surprise! My car passed the inspection with no problem! Crooks!

11th Street Auto is a stand-up, class act. It's a family owned and ran business and the people working here are courteous, professional, and timely. The owners/operators are salt-of-the-earth guys that are real Philly through and through.Went in for an inspection at 0730 and was hitting the road with fresh stickers at 0800. I'll definitely be back next year, and (hopefully not) in the interim should I have any issues that come up.There are not many places like this left in Philly, I would highly recommend them.

Nice and polite staff. Took car in for safety and emissions test. State Inspection $30. Sticker $9. and Emissions test $60. Windshield wiper replacement $44.00. I needed a last minute inspection and I'll never take my car anywhere else again. These guys are the best, nicest, are open at the crack of dawn and got it done for me fast.

They were the most helpful folks. One of the mechanics saw us at a gas station and realized we were having trouble. Graciously he helped us try to figure out the problem and even went as far as to contact his boss to see if they could open the shop for us to get it fixed. All of this was done on his day off... Then when the woman that was going to tow the car came by, she went through a checklist of ideas to try before towing it. One of them worked, we got the car on, saving us so much time and money. I highly recommend anyone with car problems to go to this shop. They're focus truly is the customer, not just money. Thank you 11th Street Auto!

Had a very good experience here getting my inspection and new brake pads. They are extremely polite, family owned and most importantly for a mechanic shop: they are honest. Highly recommend

Literally a gem! Everyone at Eleventh Street is so friendly and helpful on top of being efficient! Unlike so many businesses they understand the value of consistent good customer service and honestly I wouldn t have expected it at a repair shop. They are simply the best I ve ever experienced.

Took my car here for an inspection and because my wiper fluid wasn't spraying out anymore. They reconnected the hose on the wiper fluid for FREE, and my 10 year old car passed the inspection the first time. They didn't even try to push new windshield wipers or a battery or an oil change on me - unlike every single other inspection place I've been to in Philadelphia. Car was ready on time and they were very friendly, plus the location + price can't be beat.

I was visiting Philly with my family, and our old minivan's brakes started smoking: people were honking at us, and saying that we might be on fire. I doused them with cold water from our cooler (possibly warping the rotors) and, after checking my family into a hotel, took it to Frank and Tony on nearby 11th Street. Tony found me a parking spot overnight, even though they had almost no room, and the next day, after calling with a few questions, Frank called again to say our brakes were fixed. I was just happy that everything would be ok and figured it would cost several hundred dollars. But this gets even better. Frank had checked the brakes, adjusted them, and made sure they were safe to drive the 700 miles back home: NO CHARGE. He took time to explain the cause of the smoke and recommended we see the dealer who installed them to double-check when we get home. Talk about a class act: honest, courteous, helpful. HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION!

I've never had a good experience at a car repair shop until this one. It's always my worst day I'm going there, and I usually leave feeling not greatThis place was easy and very fast. 11th Street Auto is one of the few HONEST mechanics in Philadelphia! They knocked out my inspection and brake pads in less than a day (<<I was expecting 3-4 days) and the prices are as fair as it gets without going to Jersey. Bar none there s nowhere else to take your damaged vehicle here in Philly and be very satisfied with their work! Thanks!

I brought my car here because of how many great reviews they had but i wind up wasting my time and money catching uber there and back for them to tell me to take my car to the dealership. I did and when i called back to get an estimate for the repair, willing to give them another shot, i found the older man to be rude. Plus they never called me back like they said they would.

I had my car inspected here and they fixed my squeaking brakes - a problem the guys at Pep Boys on Columbus said was not a problem and "some brakes just squeak."It wasn't overly expensive but not really cheap either. I would take my car back here in a pinch. The only area of confusion was when I dropped my car off after business hours for the inspection. there wasn't really a clear "drop off" area for my keys and information.

I am from out of town and these guys don't know me at all but Frank really took care of me after I hit a pothole and blew out 2 tires. Got me back on the road really quick. Good guys, I would definitely recommend them.

I brought my car for a service and to check my engine because it was sounding strange. I took a day off from work for this because I do lyft/Uber. It took them all day and when I came to pick up my car they said everything is alright and there is no charge, so I thought that s strange and I asked how could there be no charge for a service and the guy said oh we didn t do a service so I said why not and apparently he didn t write it down so they didn t do it. The service was the only reason I brought my car here and had to take a day off to do it and now I have to take another day off to get this done!! This is extremely annoying and unbelievably. Also if they only did a check up why did that take all day. I brought the car to their shop at 8:00-8:30 am and they called me to pick it up at 3:30pm!! I am never coming back here again!

These guys are excellent. Unfailingly honest and quote you reasonable prices. You won't feel stupid for not knowing everything about cars and they won't press you to make unnecessary repairs. Even though it's a trek for me to south philly, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

The first time I have been compelled to leave a review for any establishment. Insanely good price, incredibly nice guys, quick turnaround. No wonder they ve been in business since 72. I was honestly expecting to pay more than double what I was charged. Do yourself a favor.
