I been coming to Dave's since Dave was there I have brought every car here even the one lemon I brought I remember Dave said the amount of money you going to put out into this car you should just buy a new car lmao & we laughed about me buying a lemom. Dave knew so much about cars I use to beg him to go with me to purchase a car & was willing to pay him cuz they wouldn't be able to get over on him. I have been a vauled customer since 2015 when I brought my first car from auto pros if you brought a car from auto pros you know why Dave automotive is the best place and will always be the best place. Anyway I was sad when Dave retired but let's be for real the same men who have been working with him on my cars are still there so I still trust there work. Honestly I can't believe the bad reviews because if I sat here & told y'all how many cars I went through & all the cars I ever brought to them y'all wouldn't believe me. Every car I brought to this shop no matter what the problem was they found the solution & fixed it and I never had that problem again. Dave automotive did some of the biggest jobs I remember one time I had to get my air compressor replaced during the summer Dave made sure my warranty company paid the most. I don't think I would ever go to any other mechanic & this is coming from a person who uncle is a mechanic. This place has always GOT THE JOB DONE. I appreciate them so muchI recommend them to everybody. I see people complaining about the price I will pay whatever to keep my car moving it's my bread & butter & these men work hard they need to be paid for their work

I love the owner, he listens when I'm talking. As a woman, most mechanics think we are oblivious about cars. As a Center, he is our mechanic.

Wouldn't recommend using this place. Outrageous! Shop around don't go there. I saw owner replied to someone that a basic tune up takes about a hour. Ok so I was charged 2.5 hours for a basic tune up and for them to put my car on lift to tell me they couldn't fix my muffler. Shop around don't go there. We are talking over $350.00 . I will find a honest mechanic because this is outrageous. I also put my review on yelp so others don't get ripped off like I was. When I was told the cost over the phone I wasn't told they couldn't fix the muffler, had they told me that I wouldn't have them do the tune up. Shady! The actual structure- building -lot has been there many many many years I would know I lived in this neighborhood for 51 years but this owner now is very recent not 35 years.

I took my car there because my brother recommended this place, I don t know much about cars and i don t want to be robbed. The lady at the office is very friendly and the owner it s very knowledgeable and explained things to me in a way a could understand. They fixed my car the same day and so far I have no complaints. I totally recommend this place, only honest mechanic i know in the area!Services: A/C installation & repair, Auto maintenance

I went to Dave about 2 months ago because I was looking for a honest shop I can start taking my car to since I was done paying high repair prices at the Buick dealer. Dave took his time to listen and went over a few things about my car. Dave was kind, respectful and honest . Thank you Dave for the quick inspection today looking forward to my oil change.

Took my car to this shop to get a stripped lug removed and put in front brakes (which I was providing) and the one guy told me that it will cost me $158.00 to get the lug removed and a additional $105.00 to get the brakes (that I provided) on. And on top of that, he told me that it will be done by lunchtime. It s almost 3pm and no call,so I went to check and my car was not even started on so I asked for my keys back and took it to another Auto Mechanic Shop and was only charged $68.00 to get the same services done (lug removed and brakes put on).They are rip off. Probably thought just because I am a female he would get over on me WRONG!.

The most professional place around. Whenever I go to Dave's everything is explained to you in detail first (No Surprises) Best prices around, place is super clean. In and out in an hour. I've been getting my car serviced here since I got it over 5 1/2 yrs ago. I have barely had any issues with my car within that time and when I did the guys showed and explained whatever the issue was in a way I could understand. Dave is nice and straightforward.

I had a really good experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I went in to get a tire repair which was pretty inexpensive. Service was very fast! I will be back for sure

I needed a transfer case on my car and I told him this cause we had it checked at a shop before. So I had him tow my car to his shop to have him price how much the work would be. When he did his diagnostic and found out I was right he told me the price and I said ok. Now he kept asking me the whole time am I sure I'm going to be able to pay for the work and I said yes because my mom was helping me. So when we told him we wanted him to go ahead and fix it he said well I need 700 up front to order the transfer case for the car before he does any work on it. So when we asked why because I had never heard of a shop asking that he said because he doesn't want to do the work and then we not have the money to pay him and he have the car sitting on his lot. So we felt like because we were black he thought we wouldn't have all the money for the work so he wanted us to pay before so he knew he got paid. What he didn't know is that my mom makes more money then him in a week and she was a valued customer of his he just didn't know cause it had been a year since we been there and he only heard our voices. He had us pay 450 for the tow, diagnostic and the car being on his lot while we find another shop to tow it to since he wasn't being ignorant.

187 dollar$ for 4 sparkplugs on a 2005 toyota...insane. I asked for a tune up but thats all i got for 187 dollars 4 spark plugs that were on top of the engine...a 20 minute process if that. I thought a tune up consist of oil change,filter,pvs valve and an air filter. But thats all i got was 4 spark plugs.

I hoped this would be a great place since I can walk there, but sadly after two experiences that were fine (but fairly pricey), I took my car in for a larger job with the alternator. I was told that "I have never seen this in 30 years" and "you need a new timing cover, but no one in the nation has one, so we can't fix it." Still, I was charged $200 for diagnostics. Since I wasn't sure whether to trust this answer, I had the car towed to Belmont's Garage in Langhorne (which I HIGHLY recommend). Belmont's was not only able to replace the alternator in one day, but told me that I did not need a new timing cover and that what Dave's Auto had tried to do made it worse! Needless to say, I will not be taking my car to Dave's anymore.

So I just tried calling Dave's three times to ask if they perform used car pre purchase inspections. I got no more than two words into my question, such as "Do you guys perform ..." and they hung up on me. Three times. Guess business must be really good if you don't have time to take a phone call from a potential new customer. I'm gone.

Seemed nice, took my car in he had said he fixed a leak I had, but really just put a band aide on it. 3 weeks later it was leaking again, and charged me around 300 to do it. I took it to a mechanic who works on these type things and said the work was laughable and would never have held. Anything for a buck I guess.

Very honest, he & his guys know their stuff. Fixed my SUV and kept in contact with me through the process. I will only go to him if Gd forbid my car needs it. Reccomend!

I came in to get my back breaks done , I supplied the break pads all they had to do is put them on. Usually that cost between $40-$60 so I didnt think to ask how much it will cost . When returning to get my car 2 and half hours later after they told me it would only take an hour . The owner charged me $102 to install just to break pads . When I just got my front breaks done for $50 .
