Scam! I bought my 2017 ford car here for a wrench light diagnosis. The advisor Rob told me that it would be $299 for a diagnosis that requires the technician to dig deep and actually look for the problem. He proceeded to tell me that my car would have to sit at Chapman for a couple days just to receive a diagnosis. I wasn t thinking at the time, so I said ok whatever I just want to know what the problem is.He called my phone 7 hours later and said your car is something we don t want to deal with, it has over 40 codes popping up when we ran the diagnostic . I was confused because I take my car to Jiffy lube and Firestone regularly and they never mentioned 40 codes. My car has 80,000 miles and I purchased it from a ford dealership .When I got to the shop, I had to bring my fiancee who knows more about cars than me to get an understanding on these codes that they were speaking of. They didn t want to explain the codes, even though all of them said lost connection to ____ lost connection for 40 different things says something was wrong with the machine and not my car. He tried to still charge me 299 after giving me over 60 pages of codes with NO explanation. Once Rob & my fiancee talked he decided to not charge us at all.The point is don t go to this place. It s a SCAM. Something fishy is definitely going on. RUN & RUN FAR AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Place is a scam. On their website they offer $80 oil changes, when I go in they say it ll cost $90 for my car, then after they are done they charge me $113.70 plus tax. They over charge for the oil they use, MSRP is $9.32 a qt for the oil they used, and they charged me $11.95 a qt.They also charged $43.95 for .30 hours of labor. I mean that s your price but that s a bit of a stretch.Good job taking advantage of customers who bought a car from you, and trusted you.

Before you go: $220/hr for labor, NOT including the flat $200 to diagnose the problem. Your call after that.

So many broken promises. Just bring your car in, it's under warranty, and we'll fix everything they said. Once I got home I realized it fixed one thing I left the rest go. 2 weeks and three calls later I've heard nothing from them. What a shame, I used to recommend them to everyone I know. The salesman was great, but they didn't give me the price for my trade-in vehicle after they had my lease end early. All around not a good experience.

I had my car towed here after the serpentine belt broke. I've always kept up with repairs, oil changes, tire rotations, etc. It's a 2009, so she had expected wear and tear, but overall a great car. The diagnostic video i received diagnosed a shredded serpentine belt, massive oil leaks, and a dead battery. The issue with the oil leak and dead battery is that were simply not true and only a ploy to try to make me pay for more services.I have my car undercoated to protect the metal from the salted winter roads. The substance is oily in nature. When the dealership sent the video, they just said "you have an oil leak but we don't know where. you can see it all under the car." I called them to let them know it was undercoated (as i realized this is not a usual thing for people to do to their cars), and the man on the phone said "we're going by what we see, so it doesn't matter what you say." Also, I know there was oil in my car before having it towed. I was getting close to an oil change, so I performed routine oil level checks. When they sent the video, they showed a dry dipstick. Something didn't add up.Perhaps the most concerning aspect of the service was the "dead battery." I know my battery was replaced only a few years ago. There's a maintenance sticker right on the battery that proves this. In the video, they showed them "testing the charge," and it showed no charge. Two issues arose from this: 1) I started my car up to have the tow guy pull in onto his truck. With a dead battery, I wouldn't have been able to start my car. 2) The instrument being used to "test" the charge was similar to that of a jumper cable, not the proper piece of equipment to test a charge. I elected to not have the battery replaced because I knew it was fine. It's still fine. I have had no issues with my battery. The only reason I'm giving this place two stars is because at least the serpentine belt got fixed and the online payment system was easy.Service: Engine repair
