Took my 03 vw in for an annual inspection and a few issues. Sean diagnosed some other issues that needed to be addressed. He took time to explain all the work he was doing and communicated throughout the process about timing and pricing. You can tell he is extremely knowledgeable about Volkswagens and I m glad I found this place. Will be coming back whenever I need maintenance again.

Sean is very professional and knowledgeable whenever I bring in my car for inspection, repairs and maintenance services. He answers all my questions and provides recommendations based on the current status of my car without forcing any unnecessary services. Also, there s been a few times he s been flexible and checked out my car on short notice. Overall, would highly recommend.

Champ Automotive Service is a great place for service of your VW. I have gone to this auto service annually and have received excellent service. Sean, the owner takes pride in his work and it reflects on the good running of your vehicle.

Sean is very professional and prices are reasonable. My family has been sending all our cars for maintanence, inspection and repairs to Sean for over a decade now, and we have nothing but positive things to say. He is very straightforward about maintanence needs and never tries to push unecessary fixes.

My car needed an inspection and oil change, tire rotation, air filter replaced. I chose Champ based on reviews , but also because of its proximity to the train station. I'm so glad it did! Made an appointment and dropped it off the next day. The scheduled maintenance for the car required the cabin air filters to be replaced, and Sean called and told me that and gave me the prices. Honest and straightforward. I had issues with my keys not being able to open the car. He tried to fix it but it was something more with the car computer. Really appreciated that and didn't ask him to do that. And I had a set of new windshield wipers in the front seat. I was going to replace myself. He offered to do that, too. Wow. It cost me a lot less than I expected. Finding a good, honest mechanic, esp. Being a woman is hard. I will take my car back to Champ for any auto needs in the future. Couldn't ask for more.

This is the only place I bring my car for service anymore. Much better pricing and service than the dealership. I never feel lied to or taken advantage of (and as a woman that's a huge relief). Sean is very transparent and knowledgeable and always works with me to figure out what repairs are in my budget. I can't recommend him enough. Support this really competent and high-quality small business!

I just brought my Dodge Challenger to Sean for some routine work. Hands down I can tell you that he was one of the best mechanics I have ever worked with.All of his work provided is high quality for a very fair price and it is done very quickly. It can be very difficult finding a mechanic that can deliver on all fronts but Sean does exactly this. I highly recommend Champs Automotive.He will give you fair honest feedback on your car and is never pushy about getting more work done and truly weighs in on whats important to you the driver.Will definitely bring my Challenger back for future work.

Came into Champs to have my truck looked at for a whole bunch of issues - tires, oil change, inspection, funny noise emitting from the engine. Sean, owner/mechanic of Champs was very knowledgeable and fixed all my issues in a timely fashion. I felt like I was treated and charged fairly for the work that was done plus supporting small business is the only way to go. I will be coming back!

Honest mechanic with fair pricing. Was able to schedule us for a next-day appointment, and communicated well throughout the process. He was able to fix the problem with our car without performing unnecessary work and actually recommended against replacing certain parts that seemed to still be in good working order, even though he probably could have easily convinced us to do so. Overall I am pleased with our experience with Champ Automotive and will likely be taking our cars here in the future as needed.

Champ Automotive is my new mechanic of choice in and around Manayunk. The owner, Sean, is knowledgeable and good at what he does. Had my car in for the first time today and he told me what he thought needed immediate attention and what could wait a few months. The BEST!! Sean does the best work I have experienced in Philadelphia. More importantly he is transparent and honest with the work that has to be done. You are kept up to speed in every step along the way. I am very glad to have found his shop because I won't take my cars anywhere else. Four words to describe Sean would be fair pricing, efficient, professional and transparent. I would highly recommend him to everyone.

Went to my dealership and received news that I needed new tires and breaks. Their quote was high so I went to Champ Automotive and got a fair price.Sean was extremely communicative and helpful throughout my entire service experience and returned the car to me in ship shape within no time.Never bringing the car to the dealership again!

I have been taking my Jeep and Subaru into Champ Automotive for 5 years. Sean always goes above and beyond to make time to get our cars serviced. Best prices compared to any other places in the area and have never had an issue. I would highly recommend champ auto for any of your automotive needs.

My 2003 VW Eurovan was in desperate need of a good mechanic. It is a bit of an odd duck and even the VW dealer wanted to run when he saw me coming. Finding Sean has been a godsend. Chronic unsolvable problems were quickly diagnosed and fixed by Sean. Sean is honest and upfront about his prices and estimates. He is very easy to talk to and takes the time to explain what s going on and what my options are. The work he has done has been consistently done right the first time every time. Most recently he successfully replaced the Eurovan s transaxle and it runs better than ever. While his expertise is VW/Audi, he has earned my confidence has become the mechanic for my Jeep, as well. I highly recommend Sean and Champ Automotive.

Sean was excellent. He listened to my observations of noises from my car and did his own diagnosis of the problems and fixed them within the next day. He did not try and up sell me, he kept the work to what was needed. Excellent service thanks!

I have been to a lot of places in Philly where I felt like the guys were shady and trying to take me for every dollar but Shawn at champ automotive was very honest, fair, and quick. I found them through a friend that recommended them and I think the service is worth the trip to Manyunk.

First time there, Sean understood the problem, knew how to diagnose my ABS problem, checked a sensor himself instead of only trusting the computer, charged a reasonable market price for the repair, had my vehicle back in 4 hours. No problems.

Knowledgeable staff, professional, and fast. They specialize in VW and Audi vehicles, but is more than capable to fix any vehicle. Trucks included. I highly recommend this repair shop.

This guy knows Volkswagens. I like when i go to a shop and the mechanic just knows what they are doing.I called around and a lot of shops wanted more, and they gave me the by the book price.But these guys have the know how.Fantastic.

I always drive German cars when something wrong with the car you got to take it a dealer or champ auto Dealer cost lots of money champ he knows what is doing less price and quality work, great mechanic I will give him A+++.
