This shop, and these mechanics are the most professional and trustworthy mechanics I have ever met. They take care of my cars as if they were their own. There honesty is unbelievable!They are truly on your side when it comes to your car, and they will get you back on the road as quickly And cost-effectively as possible!I am truly grateful for you guys! My son and I have been taking our vehicles here for years, and they always do great work! Prices are very reasonable, and I can always trust they never charge for unnecessary services. The staff is friendly and always ready to patiently answer any questions you may have.

I was interested in buying a pre-owned car from an auto dealership and wanted it inspected before purchase. I had the good fortune of having it inspected by Ken at C & G Auto Repair. Ken was very comprehensive in his inspection of the car. He checked all of the major systems of the car to make sure that they were in proper working order. He also confirmed the maintenance that the dealership had performed on the car. He test drove the car to make sure the engine and transmission were functioning properly. He also put the vehicle up on a lift to make sure that there were no signs of an accident. He gave a very open and straightforward assessment of the vehicle. He was very professional, thorough, and honest. I highly recommend C & G Auto Repair.

C & G Auto Repair is top notch! Steve is a quality guy. Gave me an assessment of what needed to be done with my van and followed that up with an honest estimate. From the beginning of the process (new engine) all the way through to the end, Steve kept me updated and in the loop with everything that was going on. I will absolutely be a lifelong customer and will recommend C & G to anyone I know.

Hands down the best auto repair center in Philadelphia. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and use the latest and best technology.Very friendly and accomodating personnel.I was a former shop owner and automotive instructor but now I'm too old and have back issues to do my own work. I take all my vehicles there and everyone I've recommended has been extremely pleased.Other repair shops should follow their lead. Thank you G&G for setting the standard that all in the industry should emulate.Well done!

Brought my car in for a battery light on.steve asked me to leave the car and they would fix it and call me back when ready. A few hours later received that I had to replace the alternator and belt and was quoted $658.00. I agreed to pay it and have my car fix, steve stated car would not be ready until the next day. The following day I pick up my car and drove it to my house Wich is less than a block away, parked it till 5pm when my kids and I drove the car to a bowling alley in NJ 20 mins away from my house. Ten minutes into the drive my car starts shaking anf it turns off in the middle of the highway. I manage to turn it back in and drove it to the nearest parking lot. Before being able to park smoke starts to come out of the hood. My 10 year old is autistic, needless to say it was chaotic and a very scary situation for my kids and I.I had just received the car from this auto shop and was in worse condition than what I had brought it in. The shop was closed so I had to wait until the next day. Steve was dismissive while his mechanic apologized after I stated they had put my kids and my life in danger for negligence. Steve stated his tow guy would not drive to NJ so I had to find my own way to bring the car back to his shop. Not once did they admitted to making a mistake altho the belt they had just replaced was coming off. I found a tow company for 200 dollars to bring the car back only to have Steve call me and tell the fixing of the car would cost another 850 dollars and that it was not their mistake, supposedly my radiator was not working, altho it was working fine the day before. Steve stated things happen and my car was too old (2009 Honda Crv with 120 thousand miles).I paid the 850 , Steve again stated it will take two days to have the car fix .I go pick up the car only to drive it 3 blocks and have my car up in smoke again and radiator leaking. I being my car back only to have Steve quote me 2400 dollars in labor and not admitting they made a mistake. Again he states things happen and my car is old.He did not fix my car and took 1500 dollars from me. I asked if he did it because I was a woman who did not know about fixing cars and he could not even respond to me. The last day I went the mechanic stated Steve said to wait for him when you came back, meaning he knew my car was not fox properly, then the mechanic joked stating I don't want to be yelled at!!Do not go here, they willess up other parts of your car to keep you coming back, by the way each time he charged labor altho it was their mistake.

Great staff, they always get the job done in sufficient time. They find the problem and explains everything so that you ll understand. Their customer service is awesome, I always feel welcome. Would recommend!

My car just came out of warranty so I was looking for a new shop close to home, rather than the dealership, and took it to C&G for inspection/emission. I was serviced quickly and was impressed by the owner who gave me a quick history of the business and explained their services and policies. He was also super nice to my young granddaughter who was with me. They are quite reasonably priced and I will be taking my car to them for all necessary service. Five stars.

Came in for a same-day oil change after Jiffy Lube played games with me. The guys at C&G Auto got me in ASAP and completed my oil and they were very friendly. I was so Thankful bc I had a long drive homeGina :)

The team at C&G were an absolute godsend for me! They were able to quickly diagnose and resolve my car's problems and have it back to me on the same day while multiple other shops in the area had told me that they wouldn't even look at it on the same day let alone have it finished.C&G did quality honest work and even made sure that I had my car back and in full working order before finalizing the payment of my bill. The price was also much more reasonable than I had anticipated!I highly recommend C&G Auto Repair if you want your car to actually be taken care of! Their team was fast, reliable, and communicative while providing quality work. I decided to try this auto mechanic based on glowing reviews. I walked in at around 8:30am without even calling them, And asked if they could do a wheel alignment and tire rotation, I expressed to them that I had to be at work and couldn t leave my car. The gentleman at the counter fit me in and said he could get it done. He was very accommodating. I was very impressed. He also saved me some money. After my mechanic closed up shop I was nervous about finding someone I could trust to do work. C&G was highly recommended by a few people to me so I decided to try them out. They are the nicest guys around. They don t try to rip you off by saying you need something when you don t. I would recommend this company again and again for anything you need for keeping up with your car maintenance. Fantastic company. Family owned and in business since 1978. I called about a list of repairs that the dealership had handed me. At first I was nervous they would get upset or mad about all the questions and know it was a comparison list of their prices to the dealership. Ken was awesome. He answered all my questions and gave advice on the repairs. He even said when the repairs are free I tell my customers to take it to the dealership, now that is honesty. He gave me choices on the breakes I needed. After calling his supplier he found out there was a direct OEM replacement available for the breaks. I went with those. Ken and his brother are very nice guys. The shop is clean and well organized from what I could see. I will definitely recommend them to people and I will be bringing my car back here for service, and so should you.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Wheel alignment, Brakes

They were very helpful and showed & explained to me what happened to my tire. I will be coming back for any car repairs in the future.Since I originally came here I ve brought my vehicles in a couple times for nails in the tires and every time they had my issue fixed quickly. Also recommended them to a family member who had a brake fluid issue and he took his car somewhere else and they fixed it but he still had problems immediately after. He finally listened and brought his car here to C&G and they actually did it correctly in a timely manner. Definitely recommend.Service: Tires

It's like having the Car Talk guys as your personal mechanics. They keep our older cars running like new - have been using them for years. This was my first time going to C&G Auto Repair. I needed to find a auto shop near me and went to Google to search. This shop had over 130 reviews of 4.9, which impressed me. I called and was able to bring in the car.The staff was professional and performed quality work. As an added bonus, the price was reasonable and affordable. It was my first time going to this location and the process was smooth. Since I arrived at the location, I was greeted by Ken (Hopefully I remember his name correctly). He was professional and honest over all the interaction. After explaining the issue, the car was ready in 4 hours, which makes it super fast in comparison to other locations (considering I went as a walk-in). The price and issue with the car were what I was anticipating.For any other issues with my vehicle this would be the first location I would go to.Service: Brakes

Had a complicated issue with my brake lights not working and they fixed it. I had two other mechanics look at my truck and they were not able to fix the problem. It was a lot more involved then just replacing the bulbs or changing out the brake pedal switch. It was a big electronic issue. They diagnosed the problem and fixed it within the same day. Thanks to them, my truck passed inspection and lives on. Steve was especially helpful and courteous. Thanks C&G!Service: Electrical repair

I brought my old Crown Vic in for the first time with a steering issue. My technician Aaron figured it out, explained it thoroughly, and got it done fairly quickly at a reasonable price. When I went to pick up the car I got to meet the owner Ken, seems like a great guy and his family has worked on cars in the area since before I was born. Charged $30 for a tire plug. Never in my life have I ever paid that for a plug. I could've gotten a brand new used tire for all that THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF WOMEN !!! I will never return.Service: TiresService: Tires

Great experience here ! They are very honest and reasonable. I took my car to another shop, and they seemed like they didn t want to deal with my problem . C&G took the time to see what the issues with my car were . They were very helpful and knowledgeable! They explained everything they did and why they did it . Honest, reliable, and extremely professional. C&G will handle all of my vehicle repair and maintenance going forward. I have a brand new lifted F-150 that was in severe need of an alignment. Ken and the team at C&G took the time to ensure everything was brought back perfectly to specification without trying to nickel and dime me into more parts or additional services. My truck rides better than ever and I couldn't be happier with my experience.
