Honest, fair mechanics who will actually let you know if it isn t a transmission issue. I took my car in for what I thought was my transmission. They could have swindled me out of $1,000s, but instead let me know the honest truth. Truly appreciate those ethics!

If you are willing to be patient, this is the perfect place to get an honest opinion about transmission repair. I have a vehicle with over 200,000 miles and I had my transmission repaired about 6 years ago as a recommendation by my mechanic. I had some issues with my transmission due to a defective module that Toyota issued for my 2002 Rav 4. The ECM was changed and I had Rich check the fluid and filter, he serviced my vehicle for a fraction, like 10% of the cost if I went to one of the franchised "rip off" places. He was backed up with work, but I had time to wait vs spending a of $$$$$.

Action Transmission was recommended by my mechanic of 30 plus years. My 3rd gear had decided to get up and go. Seriously, I had serious issues with driving. I dropped off my truck and he evaluated the issue and discussed options. I had the job done by Rich and his crew. What a job. Been driving on it for about 2 weeks and am totally satisfied. Professional, personable and great customer service. I have no reservations at all with recommending Action. Thanks guys,

Rich is the man he has done transmissions in 2 different cars for me and has done vehicles for friends I have sent his way always a great quick reliable job. Rather your looking for factory or high performance best in Philly area.

Rich is a specialist in transmission. My 2013 Nissan Rogue jerks when I drive it on the road. I thought my transmission had the problem. However, after driving this car, Rich told me that the problem was not from the transmission and he recommended me to go to Nissan dealer. I saved a lot of money. Thank you Rich so much.

Communication! Communication! Communication! A supposedly 3 hour job took 2 days!! But what was worse is Rich, the Owner/Manager, would tell me when it should be ready, but when it wasn't ready, he didn't even call! I had to call him every time to find out if it was ready. He told me by 10am. I call again at 11:15, he tells me 15mins. I call at 12:30, he says he still needs to test drive it. I call at 2pm and he won't answer the phone. This is already day 2 after he said it would be fixed a day ago. I can handle simply being too busy, or even a bit overwhelmed with business, but PICK UP THE DAMN PHONE AND UPDATE YOUR CUSTOMER. Im enroute there right now to see the problem for myself (my 3rd trip there I might add)!!
