Once you have your car serviced at Main Line Transmission, you can count on driving away totally satisfied. The courtesy and concern demonstrated by Brian, Phil, and the entire staff will, without doubt, meet your expectations. Although auto repairs can be a customer distraction, know that you are in good hands with this shop.

Great service, Main Line transmission rebuilt our Town & Country van transmission before the dealer would even look at it. Our car was undrivable, towed it to them on a Friday and had it back the following Thursday. Car shifts and runs like new. The cost was under what we were expecting and the turnaround was also quicker than we expected. Great family owned business.

I own a 2007 Chevy 12 foot box truck and the transmission started going after 150,000 miles. Thought I might have to take my truck to a place that only serviced larger commercial vehicles and pay a premium for the work. I called Main Line Transmission and they said they were able to work on it. They rebuilt the trans, gave me a warranty and had me back up and running in less than a week at a very fair price. After using my truck daily for about 6 months since taking it to MLT, I had an issue where the reverse gear stopped working. I dropped it off to MLT and they repaired the problem no charge covered under warranty and got me back on the road quickly! Brian, Mike and Phil are professional, honest, fair, dependable and very easy and nice to deal with. Really appreciate them helping a fellow business so we can keep moving for our customers. Mainline Transmission replaced my transmission with a rebuilt transmission. My SUV didn t run well after the transmission was installed. After the 2nd attempt to get the rebuilt transmission to work properly, they committed to get me a Brand New transmission at no additional charge. This is a very stand up organization managed by a truly honorable man. They have my vote for the best transmission repair shop in Southeastern Pennsylvania.Service: Transmission

Car broke down and from out of town. Young son was driving and they were so helpful. Although they were not able to assist with this very particular vehicle issue I cannot say enough about their working knowledge and customer service. A car I own was in need of some major transmission work and was sent to Main Line Transmission by the dealer. Had a very positive experience with them. Very good communication and they presented me with options: new, rebuild, and used with pros/cons and associated costs. I went with the rebuild. Quick turnaround time. There was an issue after the rebuild that required the car to go back to them. In talking to them the issue was understandable and the luck of the draw. The important part is that they stood behind their work, no questions asked, and made it right. In this day and age where many companies you deal with try and look for a way to make things like this your fault and charge you, these guys stand out as the exception. This seems like a family business which is also a big positive in my book. Brian was super helpful and I highly recommend them and will definitely do business with them again should the need arise.Service: Transmission

Had to have the transmission replaced in my Nissan. Brian was fantastic and extremely kind. Got the car in and out within only a few days. Ended up getting the car back a day earlier than expected. More than fair pricing. I would recommend main line transmission to anyone who needs work done.

Took my Dodge truck there for a rebuild ,The first time it only lasted 8 thousand miles . The warranty rebuild gave up at 35 thousand miles. Keep the truck for weeks and put over a thousand miles on it . I wouldn't recommend this shop to my worst enemy .

Brian and phil have been awesome to deal with everytime. I call and get an estimate and never has it has it been more than what they said. The work is done right and clean. I will depend on theses guys to do all of my shops transmission work.

Just did my second transmission with Main Line... a Ram 1500, now a F350. Had some tense moments but really writing this review for "Brian"... the man stands behind the work... Brian and Phil were great to do business with. Walked in there thinking I needed a new transmission and walk out with $600 in repairs, couldn't be happier. I commend their honesty and integrity within the industry and would highly recommend them to anyone that needed vehicle repairs.

I have had multiple issues with one of my vehicles that have presented as transmission problems. One of these problems was in fact transmission related and they fixed the issue quickly and at a fair price. The other issues have been diagnosed by the team and they haven't charged me. I always feel I'm being taken care of and listened to and I have never felt like I was being ripped off or lied to. When your transmission is acting up you are at the mercy of the professionals and its nice to have someone you can trust to get you back on the road. Both Brian and Phil are a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend.

Phil and Brian are not only proficient and professional, but they are honest and reliable to the nth degree. Phil had originally thought our transmission would need to be rebuilt, but after driving it until he was very clear what was needed, he ultimately solved the problem with a simple service, saving us many hundreds of dollars.We love these guys and will always trust our car to them.

Could not be happier with the service Brian provided. What we were told by other shops would be a $6000 transmission ended up being a $700 repair done in 1 day and this was on an Audi which are very difficult to repair. It is good to have a business out there that is honest and reliable.

I sincerely appreciate all the help I received today at Main Line Transmission. My car broke down when I was out of town visit family. These men helped me figure out what was wrong with my car and got my car working just enough to get me back on the road to take it home (about 20 miles away). I appreciated their honesty and understanding when I wanted to take my car to a shop close to home. Everyone on the Main Line should take their car here. The service is excellent!

I had some issues with my Subaru Outback. A neighbor recommended I start with MLT for a diagnostic opinion. As it turned out, my problem was not my transmission but something else. From my first phone calls, to my in-person experience, their customer service was top notch. They referred me to another, very reputable auto mechanic including calling the mechanic to relay info about my problem. I would not hesitate to send anyone to MLT. A special shoutout to Phil and Brian. Thanks...you all won be over.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This business epitomizes the best of modern, professional expertise with those old-fashioned qualities missing from most businesses today--like personal, attentive service, detail-oriented, thorough attention to the issue, and going way above and beyond to help me resolve an issue that had nothing to do with their replacement transmission. Phil and Brian continued to problem-solve an engine light issue that ultimately was unrelated to the transmission they replaced. They went above and beyond without charging me extra. If nothing else, check them out for Phil's corny jokes!

I took my 91 Volvo to them so they could fix something that regulated my ability to use overdrive or not, that was about 2 years ago. I recently took it to another mechanic who replaced my starter motor, and somehow the car lost the ability to go into overdrive again. I called Main Line back to see if there was anything that could have happened during the starter change...even though it wasn't their fault, the had me bring it in, fixed it for NO CHARGE and in a prompt, timely fashion. I can't say enough! Much appreciated! Will definitely bring them more of my business going forward.

I appreciate the way Brian and team working here. I took my Car today and they checked it thoroughly and informed that the Check engine light is on due to some fuel evap issue but nothing to do with Engine.Appreciate the customer service they are offering.Great Work!!

Our torque converter killed itself and destroyed the transmission on a Wednesday. After hearing positive things and strong reputation, I called main line transmission. They said it's a 4 to 5 day job and their price was 1200 to 2000 less than the dealership. I had the car moved there on Thursday and they said they'd get a look by Friday. Called Friday, they hadn't looked yet, not Saturday either. Monday they said they'd know what's wrong by end of day, then end of day they said early Tuesday. Tuesday afternoon they said what was wrong and it'd be fixed by Thursday, Friday at the latest. I called Thursday, they said Friday. I called Friday, they said end of day, we have some personal issues we're dealing with. End of Friday they said Saturday morning. So 9 days later I get my car back and it feels odd shifting, maybe it needs to adjust itself. I go away on business and my wife says it's awful to drive, so she goes to our mechanic who was shocked this was reputable MLT, there were loose bolts and incomplete work. My wife takes it to MLT and they fix their sloppy work, then blame the issue on us because we "rushed them". I cannot convey how awful their customer service is. Blaming the customer for a job that took twice as long as quoted while doing crappy work is mesmerizing. They offered no reparations, no apologies, just shifted blame to the consumer because they are just that awful. Hopefully the transmission lasts, because I don't have a desire to return, nor can I endorse this place.

Phil is a very friendly and personable guy, but not an honest guy. He convinced me that I needed to replace my whole transmission for $2,500. After finding a second opinion, the problem was fixed for $50. Turns out I was a few quarts short of transmission fluid. Phil told me that I had too much fluid and he was reluctant to add more when I suggested it. He tried to take advantage of a young guy who doesn't know much about transmissions. I do not trust him and will not be going back.

So I came in with a metal on metal grinding noise. Gave the truck to them on a Monday only to have them drive my truck around the whole week and not figure anything out. I was told everyday that I called them that they would get it on a lift the next day and to call back then. Call after call, nothing was done. They tried to convince me that my torque converter was blown and it needed to be replaced, although everything was fine with it. So Thursday came and they had finally called me and told me what they had figured out it was. They determined that the differential was the problem and were going to charge me $500 to just take it apart(which wasn t even the problem with the truck). All in all the absolute worst service I have ever had and the biggest waste of time. I would not recommend coming here.
