I am so glad we took our RV to Three Rivers Marine and RV before looking at the reviews on here. Our experience with them was fantastic. We had bought what I consider a pig in a poke RV, it was sitting in a field, no way of checking anything out, but the price was worth the gamble. After our purchase, as we went thru the different systems, like furnace, water, etc we realized we were going to need some professional help and needed the coach itself inspected for PA. When I called, they were able to get us in fairly quickly. We took it in and went over some of our concerns. We were assured that as they went over it they would call and give us our different options for repairs .And thats exactly what they did. For instance, we knew the furnace was not working. After inspecting our furnace, they found it was junk AND explained why it needed replaced and our choices for repair. Most places would be thinking about their bottom line, but instead they thought about us. Instead of pushing a new furnace, they gave us the option of installing a good almost new one for less than 1/2 of a new one. The electronic steps had been half ripped off and we thought we'd have to buy a new set. They were able to fix our old ones again for much less than a new set. I was concerned about the brakes because the warning light was on. They could have padded the bill by telling us it needed a brake job, but they didn't. And they even called before installing new wipers, which was the only thing they said it needed for inspection. Actually, they called and kept us updated on everything they did. When we picked it up. there were no surprises on the bill. It was nice dealing with a Mom & Pop business instead of some big corporate store because they cared about their customers. As a former small business owner, we know how hard it is to make a living in this digital day & age so I would highly recommend this business for your RV needs. We'll definitely use their services again.

In Sept 2021, Fyda Freightliner wrecked my 40 foot motorhome in their own parking lot. They have a body shop and I expected them to fix it. Instead, their insurance company (Sentry Select) called in Nov 2021 saying that if I could find a place to fix it, they would send it there. I tried calling Three Rivers, no returned phone calls (a recuring theme). Sentry finally reached Three Rivers and hired them. The Sunday before Fyda delivered my motorhome to Three Rivers, my wife and I drove out there. It is full of junk cars, boats, truck beds, lawnmowers etc, and did not look up to the job. I told Sentry not to send it there. Their response was to send it there or "have it fixed yourself." So over the next 18 months, it sat there making little progress. At one point, after I told the insurance company to total it, did I finally receive a call from the owner, Rick. I asked him to keep me updated and even offered to come help fix it. But I never heard from him again. Sentry paid Three Rivers $55,102.80, but the work was never finished. Most of my phone calls and emails to Three Rivers were never returned. I documented all of them. It became obvious that I would never see my motorhome operable again. Finally, on Mar 31 2023, I submitted a claim (with 13 enclosures) to the PA Department of Insurance. Do not use this place, period.Captain M.R Hoyle U.S. Navy (Ret)Service: Body & Trim

This has been the worst experience ever! Disturbing, actually. You can take your chances, but our suggestion is to find another place to service your boat, RV, or camper. We hope to help other victims avoid the costly and emotionally painful experience we had with these people. Everything in this review is true or our opinion. (impervious to a libel lawsuit)August 2021-They worked on our 2003 Class A Motorhome and 2006 Jeep TJ. We were overcharged and defrauded. Never given an itemized, written estimate. Paid for parts upfront and given a verbal estimate for labor. Repeatedly inquired about the progress of the work to see if the bill was going to change, and we were rudely chastised/yelled at for asking. "He's still working on it!" and "It's not gonna get done any faster with you calling to check on the progress" Initially told/expected the invoice to be $4250 plus tax. When we were told everything was complete, the invoice total came to over $11,000-!!!The owners will say we agreed, and we authorized, but they had us sign a blank work order (3-part carbonless form). We thought we were agreeing to get an estimate, but we never saw the invoice again until AFTER the work was completed and AFTER they put inflated prices on everything. EX: we were charged $30/tire for tire disposal. This is normally $3-5/tire. 6 tires-do the math. There is no law against them charging whatever they want, but regulations and laws DO PROHIBIT SURPRISE INVOICES AND FRAUDULENT PARTS AND LABOR. In our opinion, these people are career GRIFTERS: "a person who engages in petty or small-scale swindling". This explains how they continue to do it year after year. The individual crimes are not worth pursuing. Petty theft by deception, fraud, overcharges, surprise invoice, too many consumer protection laws to mention. Flying under the radar with no remorse and a mockery of the civil court system. Very clever and devious. Our research indicates more than 20 years of ripping people off. We spoke with numerous others. They get off on it. (by accident we found the dark triad google this) It's a mystery to us how they also have a good number of positive reviews. It must be part of their game...get a few good reviews so people won't believe the bad ones. There's a naughty list and a nice list. We ended up on the naughty list. The worst part is the FRAUD. Owners staged a video of the onboard generator of our motorhome, stating it wouldn't start. They would not permit us to go into the work area to see for ourselves (BIG RED FLAG). We paid over $1100 for parts and labor for this single item that was SIMPLY NOT PERFORMED! This is a crime. It also sheds doubt on everything else we paid for. Photos depict the bolts that would have been required to be removed in order to replace the generator starter. Ricky--Could you please tell us how you replaced the starter without removing the generator from the chassis?? Note the review by Erik H. 7/23/2018--he had phantom services too!! This is NOT an isolated event, and we are not alone. We attempted 4 times to resolve this privately, but we have been ignored. We were prepared to file a civil lawsuit, but of course, our attorney DID disclose his fees and we are not interested in the price. Richard and Rhonda Douds (husband and wife owners-public information) are no strangers to small claims court, and they know most won't follow through with litigation. If we had been given a written estimate and an update on increasing costs, we would not be writing this review. We recall the sign at the desk stating something like "You don't ask your doctor or attorney to reduce their fees, so why are you asking us to reduce our fees?" Well, Rhonda, I'll tell you why. Because doctors, attorneys, and all honest business owners and professionals disclose their fees and pricing BEFORE performing the work so the customer can make an educated decision. You did not, and therefore people complain about your pricing.

The team at Three Rivers converted an Ford E350 Van into a camper for me. This included installation of a roof rack, rollout awning, solar panels, ladder, complete custom suite on the interior, storage, lighting and refrigeration. They did an awesome job and their fee was very fair. They were professional at all times and communicated with me when there were questions. I will use them again on future projects and highly recommend them to others. The picture below doesnt really capture all the custom work on the inside. The wood work is top notch though.

My dad had his camper repaired here and in the process they lost his keys. We are still waiting for them to be replaced. We have called multiple times with no results or return phone calls.

Where to start I would never recommend this place to anyone! I had some performance work done on a power stroke diesel that was supposed to only take a week that turned into 5 weeks!!!! The work they did on the engine was good but the transmission was not. They never got the transmission right and when I would tell them that it wasn't they would get offensive. When I picked it up and drove less than 20 miles and the transmission was slipping they said bring it back we will take care of it. when I picked it up they tried changing another $1500 and a new transmission cooler I already bought one and on top of that it was one out of a wrecked truck from the back!! Since I disputed they cost they wouldn't take my CC and said only cash after they had already been paid a little over $10k. This is they most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with. When you walk in the door look at all the signs up that say all of the extra things you will pay for. I was in the office several times and all of the customers were unhappy with something. I would not recommend this business to anyone for anything!!!!! I had to get the police to the business to get my truck the owner Rick was threatening to fight me!!!

Crooks. They took our older RV and disconnected much of the electrics, then claimed it needed $10K s worth of electrical and roof repairs, not to mention new coolant and other fluids which were fine. We called their bluff by saying we were going to scrap it, immediately upon which they offered to buy it to restore. Sprat to catch a mackerel. They charged us over $500 for this experience.Avoid at all costs.

Superior service and quick work. These guys know there stuff. I had shifting problem in my boat and had no idea myself how to fix. Three Rivers was able to help me in a pinch. They expertly found the problem to be a shift relay switch that momentarily turned off the engine to enable the transmission to shift into neutral. Switched replaced and back in the water. Fair price and greater service. Thank You

ALL PLEASE READ! I called beginning July 2021,asked approximate wait time for camper repair? Was told 1 - 2 weeks. I dropped off 2021 truck camper few days later for Warranty Repair.5 weeks later, Kim said camper wasn't ready. Suddenly, Rhonda/owner got on. She said camper "is" done I can pick up.Next day drove 1.5 hrs. to 3 Rivers. While in process of raising camper, noticed gauge on side/top of camper.Noticed engine on pallet under front of camper.Gauge same height as forklift mast.Told Kim wasn't there when dropped off, probably happened when forklift storing engine under front of camper. Also, they're responsible for repairs. Rhonda stated damage didn't happen here.Told Rhonda review video of 2 cameras 20' away pointed directly at camper. She said Rick, husband/owner, would repair but he's on road call in Erie, Pa.Left camper there.Called next day, Rick still on road call in Erie, Pa. Called 2 days later, Rick still on road calls.(See "lies" adding up?It was Salmon fishing time in Erie).Next week called again, spoke to Rick.He said damage couldn't happen there his forklifts aren't that tall.(Guess Rick didn't realize camper was lower before I raised it to load).Rick said would repair & would take 2 hrs to buff out. Will call when complete.Waited 2 months, no call on status/if complete. Now November.Called asked if camper done?Kim said "I don't know, Why are you asking me?" I said it's been 2 months for 2 hr repair.Kim hung up on me!Called back, consistently hung up.Since camper inside fencing, called New Brighton Magistrate & Police explained situation.(Appears Police/Magistrate had similar problems with this business).Drove to pick up camper.Different woman working front office.Asked if camper complete? She went into back office, came back said come back in 2 hrs(If I waited 2 hours they would've been closed).Told her couldn't wait 2 hrs. Then, both owners came out of back office screaming/yelling at me "You're a Madman! You're insane! You're a psychotic nutcase!"Also, "nobody here last week everyone was sick".Reminded them had it 2 months for 2 hr repair.Rick said nobody hit it, I have video.I said play video. He didn't because definitely on video.Couldn't believe what I was hearing especially because 2 children standing behind them.10 year old boy & younger girl.(Both appeared scared about situation).Said I had to get camper out today.Rick said "take his dumbass to get camper & walk him back, make sure he doesn't purposely fall! We have too many other things to deal with so take this crazy man back there!"Rick led me through shop, 1 worker sitting at table, Rick said "Hey Bruce, I have a psycho madman here".Then said "I have to deal with a maniac like you & that I lied about damage & blamed on them".Saw gauge was repaired.Rick said should have called us.(Really!)Told Rick nobody called me.He says "Oh, nobody called you?Somebody should have called you".Told Rick he definitely has communication problem within business. Then he says "Well here's the thing, I can't get anyone to work, I can't get employees".Then says there's peoples' transmission's here for 3 months that are still waiting. Then, goes on to blame ships sitting out in ocean.During this entire time, I never yelled/made any derogatory comments to them.I kept my composure, loaded camper & left.WARNING TO ALL CUSTOMERS: 3 Rivers Marine RV website shows they sell NEW RV's - They don't sell new RV's, they sell wrecked RV's & trailers they buy & repair.ENTIRE LOT IS FILLED WITH JUNK VEHICLES, RV'S & BOATS! IT'S A JUNKYARD!BTW, review written by Kim McConnell stating how great customer service & repairs are is misleading - SHE WORKS THERE!WARNING TO VETERANS: I'm a Disabled Veteran & license plate shows this. They knew I was a Veteran and it appears they didn't care!

I took my truck to Three Rivers after getting several estimates from other places. They were by far the best priced. They were quick, courteous, and kept me informed. My vehicle was done before scheduled and all my questions were answered.

In response to the negative feedback on here. Starting with Mark Bird, he didn't tell you the whole story as to how he purchased his own parts and they failed once they were installed. He was leaving for Texas and was in a rush to get the truck back. Wouldn't listen to the recommendations we were telling him. (Since he knew it all). The converter he bought blew apart damaging the transmission that was just built. He didn't want to pay again and threw a fit.In response to the engine tune up. You were the ones that installed your own motor. We didn't want to take on that responsibility.

I am extremely frustrated and upset with this company, Three Rivers Marina and RV Center. We choose them to do a major repair on our 2017 travel trailer. We dropped it off at Three Rivers Marina and RV Center in October of 2019 and was unable to get ahold of the contact until June of 2020. Seven months and $10,000.00 later . They held our trailer without ever contacting us to let us know the job was completed. After numerous calls and emails On May 30th they finally contacted us and said we needed to come get the trailer .... they needed the space! We needed the trailer for our annual 35th Memorial Day Weekend Pig Roast. I let them know this without any response .I definitely would not recommend anyone to use their services!

They were very rude ignorant and hung up on me when I simply needed to have an engine...in my boat...tuned. They women said: If you built the engine why don't you tune it and hung up. Ignorant amazing how they even stay in business. From what I have read...from other reviews...it doesn't surprise me.

RV repairs: they had our RV for four weeks before even looking at it. It took three weeks for the work to be done after that. Way too expensive on the labor and then they add 3% to your bill if you don t pay in cash.
