I want to thank the wonderful staff at Monro New Brighton for their fast and great service last night. While driving home from work last night, a lag bolt got lodged in my tire. They quickly removed it, patched the tire at no charge and I was good to go. Thank you so much for saving my day.

The Good: Scheduling was a breeze. Took advantage of there free brake check and was able schedule same day. They were all friendly and very quick. No complaints here.The Bad: They re very misleading, overpriced, and throw quite a bit of misleading or downright dishonest information at you in attempt to upsell on replacing parts that don t actually need replaced (said my rotors needed replaced due to some rust but brakes were still passable on a state inspection) Walked into the shop while the wheel was pulled and seen that my rotors did NOT need replaced, some minimal rust but nothing that required replacement. Brakes were precisely as they had said still passable but would need changed soon. On a positive note, price they quoted for brakes, inspection, and emissions was reasonable IF you subtracted the parts and labors for the rotors I didn t need. Additionally, they really attempted to drastically inflate a price for a service (Tune-up) vs (Only Replacing Spark plugs (4 cylinder engine) that I inquired about. I had a cylinder 2 misfire on a low mileage vehicle and wanted to start with replacing the inexpensive parts first and work my way up (Spark plugs are $6-$12 ea. on average and bout 5 mins to change each). And as far as the coil packs go I don t have my own OBD2 Scan tool to swap coils and scan to pinpoint the bad coil and then possibly find out it may be something much more expensive like a fuel injector etc. etc Anyway Wanted nearly $300 to only replace (4) Spark Plugs and for a full Tune-Up (Coil Pack (4) and (4) Spark Plugs) they wanted $1200+ ..this is nearly double what most other shops in the area would charge. Buttt .at the time my car was on lift getting the free brake check, coincidence lol?I m the end I respectfully declined and left. Got a complete diagnostic AND tune-up today at Gordons for less than $600Kudos on the convenient scheduling and friendly service. Double thumbs down on practically everything else. I could easily see someone who s not mechanically savvy walk into this shop and be taken for a ride $$$$$ had I not know better it could ve been me

Needed an oil change. Diane took me right in and I would only allow Jessie to do the work . He was covering for another store and came down to take care of it. Customer service is awesome and mechanic is awesome! Jessie is very knowledgeable.

It's obvious whoever is overseeing this shop has little to no experience in the automotive repair field. They've lost 2 good mechanics in the last year I have been there. Mechanics should not be answering phones and scheduling appointments. This is a huge safety issue. They should be focusing on repairs with no interruptions. They need a front end person to make appointments and for ordering parts. There should never be a single mechanic on duty, another huge safety issue. Also customers need to know up front that you've lost your inspection or emissions privileges instead of shuttling their cars to another shop to have them done.

This is a long one so buckle down if you're going to read this novel. I don't normally write reviews this long(LOL), I promise...The summary is basically that the mechanics here tried to pull a fast one on an unsuspecting/ignorant customer. suspicious from the get go and turned out that they were wrong in their diagnosis. 'Twas a whack situation I hope for others to avoid/be wary of.I had my car inspected and it they replaced my rear tires with the year long warranty. The head mechanic did my inspection and put the new tires on. When I was driving home, there was a slight shake like a rear tire was misbalanced, which was new. I took the car back the following day they looked at it. The looked at the tire and told me that 7 ounces was added to the rim and it implied rim damage. There was no further explanation and no one showed me where the rim was damaged...which I though it was weird that it was all brushed off with no explanation. A damaged aluminum rim is unusual unless you sustain serious damage(to a curb or pothole) and given the timing of the new shake, I was suspicious.Now I should have asked more questions on the spot and asked to see where the damage was, but I was headed to an appointment and figured I'd ask a few other people who know cars. The consensus was an issue with the tire so for a second opinion I visited U Need a Tire in Beaver Falls because they are known to be trustworthy and up front about issues from my own experience and others that have been long time customers. I explained the symptoms and the looked at the wheel.In no time they called me over and spun the wheel on the tire rotation device that detects an imbalance. The pointed out how the tire was wobbling while the rim was straight and said without a doubt it was a bad tire. I'm not a mechanic, but I can understand that much and it was easy to see, plus there was no visible damage to the rim. Thus it was likely a band that holds the tire together inside had been broken before the car was even driven.So because I had a warranty on the tire, I drove back to Monroe's and explained the situation. They were doubtful and tested the tire, and told me the rim was still the problem. I asked to see and they had me come take a look to see how the rim wobbled. I didn't see any wobble and asked them to look in the tire. They reluctantly agreed and in a few minutes came out and said a tire band had snapped...just like U Need a Tire told me. LOL.They replaced it because I had the warranty. I was told the head mechanic had both put on the new tires and recommend a new rim so I asked why he didn't look at the tire before putting it on and then recommending an expensive and more complicated fix to the problem. He wasn't there but the other mechanics said they don't check the new tires because it's rare to have problems.So in conclusion, this was a situation where the mechanics were banking on getting more money out of the unknowing customer and fortunately, this sucker had some knowledge connections. I'll be taking my business to U Need a Tire in Beaver Falls from now on. ;)

I've been coming to this Monro location for about 6 years now. I have never had an issue with anything they have worked on or done to my vehicles. The people at this location have always been upfront and honest with me. I would not take my vehicle anywhere else for service. Great staff, quality service, and quick.

I didn t catch his name but we stopped in on a whim today for a skid plate hanging. A prior shop put 5 of the 10 bolts back in. He got us in real quick and helped us for less than we imagined. Thank you for going out of your way even when you were alone, we appreciate it so so much! Would recommend to anyone that is in a pinch or needs tires! Great people!

I woke up yesterday morning (Saturday 7/2923). I was getting ready for work it was raining yuk!!!. My oldest son looks out of the garage window and says to me. Mom I think you have a flat tire? I went flying outside to my car sure enough my tire was flat like a pancake. My son used the kit in the car to pump up the tire.So I looked up found Monro Auto Service and Tire. I drove right there and explained what happened. I needed to be at work in Zelienople.Shawn took my car in right away and fixed the tire within 10 minutes he was done.I want to thank Shawn and his coworker. When I asked how much they said have a great day! I came in stressed left extremely satisfied. I highly recommend Monro Auto Service and Tire. To keep your car hassle free.

Well, after the rash of bad reviews related to emissions and testing, I thought the same would happen to me. But, nope, not today. Joe and Damon were very helpful and courteous. Dropped my vehicle off in the morning, told them to do the inspections whenever convenient to them. Picked it up a couple hours later, everything was done and ready to go out the door! It does seem odd that they have to go to the Beaver Falls Monro shop to pick up their inspection stickers though...weird. Maybe corporate could do something about that - it would sure help in getting folks in and out a lot quicker. Anyways, great job Damon!

Great team and knowledgeable mechanics, the Boss Joe respectful man and appreciate their costumers, they look to the costumer as a big value, the manager assistant Diamond, is friendly and knowledgeable, I do the inspection and the maintenance for our cars there for four years, the prices are fair prices They are the Best .

What a wonderful place The gentleman who helped me here was above and beyond kind, helpful and so generous! I had a last minute/emergency tire repair that needed fixing or I was going to be in a lot of trouble for the next day because I drive my car all day for work. These awesome guys were able to save the day; they fit me right in and got everything fixed within about an hour or so of my calling, even though it was the end of the day and they were busy finishing up with their other customers he didn t even charge me because he said it was such a quick fix It was such a great help and a huge relief! I definitely will be returning and highly recommend the wonderful folks here at Monro!

I had scheduled online to get an inspection done for my car today When I got there at my scheduled appointment time, the man at the counter told me there was no appointment scheduled and that I'd be waiting at least 2 hours before someone could even start looking at my vehicle. He told me he had to go pick up inspection stickers up the street so that's why I'd have to wait so long. He told me they could fit me in at 3:30 today because they'd have the stickers by then. I assumed, as would most people, he meant he had to go physically pick up stickers they were out of. However, when I brought my vehicle back at 3:30 the manager told me I'd have to wait 2 hours to get my car inspected because they don't do inspections there, they drive the vehicles elsewhere to get them inspected. He also told me that he doesn't ever schedule inspections over the phone but if people schedule them online then he has no choice but to do them. If a business doesn't offer a particular service, they shouldn't have it available to schedule online on their website. Not to mention it's incredibly shady to advertise that you do vehicle state inspections, when you actually sublet that work out to a different garage. I'm glad he told me that they take the vehicles elsewhere to get inspected because I would have not been okay with a shady man driving my vehicle to God knows what other garage. I don't appreciate that they wasted my time on my day off. Plus I found out that according to the Better Business Bureau that their company only has 1.17 out of 5 stars and there have been plenty of other complaints about shady business aside from just mine. Needless to say I found a different garage to take my vehicle to and will not be back.

I found myself needing a tire plugged late in the day yesterday. Most of the places on Google were already closed for the day. I ended up at Monro after being turned away from another big chain store because their policy wouldn't let them even look at it. I pulled in and saw all of their service bays were full. I went in anyway and was told it was late and everyone was busy. After seeing my frustration the manager said "Let me talk to my guy." They took my key and 10 minutes later my tire was fixed and they wouldn't take anything for it. I wish I had gotten the manager's name to put it here but I didn't. Thanks man, you're awesome. I'll be bringing more business here in the future.

*Zero stars. After today, I will never return. An item was stolen from my car while getting my oil changed. The new guy in New Brighton was super nice, smiled, and sent me on the way happy. Only to arrive home down the street to realize what had happened. Absolutely uncalled for. Lesson learned for me and shame on YOU.

They are awesome!! Joe is always so nice and helpful. I stopped in for an oil change without an appointment and didn't think I could get in since they were busy but they were super nice and fit me in. They are always professional and do a great job. I've used them for other mechanical work and have been very happy every time!

For the first time I encounter such a situation I entered to fill my wheels with air, but they were late in working and I did not know what was happening. It turned out that there was a problem with the car tire. They fixed this problem and did not take a single dollar from me, and they told me that this was for free. The lady who received us is polite and beautiful and I am very happy to deal with this workshop Thank you very much for your wonderful service and your most wonderful manners

I felt very fortunate that when I called to make an appointment to get my tire fixed, they told me I could bring my car that same day. They got my car right in and fixed in very little time so I didn't miss any of my work hours. The associate that took care of me was professional and polite. I would definitely recommend Monro in New Brighton and I will return.

Shout out to Joe and his crew at Monro in New Brighton. We came out of the YMCA and found our car had a flat tire. We temporarily pumped up the tire, drove down the street to Monro and they took the car right in and fixed the tire. They re really nice too! I highly recommend them.

Never have had an issue with them, infact they are actually the only place I feel comfortable taking my car. They have helped order and replace parts on my car without charging an astronomical price and have always been kind in the way communicate and explain any issues or work that needs done

Went in for inspection and emissions tests today (02/23/23), expecting to spend 45 mins maybe an hour barring any unexpected repairs. Arrived for my noon appointment at around 11:45, and they promptly pulled my truck in and started. Around 1, my truck is out of the bay, and I'm expecting to be on my way shortly, nope. 20 mins go by, and I don't see my truck in the lot, I figured the tech decided my truck needed a test drive, I asked the manager where my vehicle was. He told me the tech took it up to the Beaver Falls location to get my sticker. They did this without informing me whatsoever and said he was on his way back as I was talking to him. Didn't wind getting out of here until 1:50. The only reason I'm leaving 2 stars is because the store manager knocked a bit off for the inconvenience. Would avoid going to this location for your safety and emissions testing. The tech left my old sticker, wadded up against the dash/windshield.

Very nice very respectful guys. Was able to fit me in next day completed all work quickly and efficiently. Would definitely recommend to anyone and will definitely be taking my vehicle back there should I have issues or need an oil change.

Affordable prices, dependable work and you don't have to wait weeks to get an appointment. My car had a misfire that resulted in a clogged catalytic converter. The clogged converter then melted my starter which was right behind it and it failed about 2 weeks later. They took the converter back off and replaced my starter. These guy's took care of me quickly and for a fair price. Will be going back for more pipe work here soon, dang ole road salt keeps melting my exhaust pipe... But I don't worry anymore, some pros and some pipe and it can all be fixed quickly. It's inspection month, go figure... 5 Stars would definitely recommend to friends.
