I have been a customer at K&E Automotive since 1990. They have always treated me right and have some of the best mechanics in the mon valley. Fair pricing and a shop you can trust.

Just went here for the first time to have a van inspected prior to purchase. So glad to have found them! They were thorough in inspecting it and left me feeling confident about the vehicle. Also very reasonably priced. I plan to bring it back for future maintenance the whole experience with the staff was much more trustworthy than other auto shops I ve worked with in the past.

This was my first time at K&E, but I chose them because they have great mechanics (one of them has done my car work for a long time) and all 5 star reviews. They diagnosed my issues perfectly, and the price was the most honest I've seen with any local auto shop. My car handles beautifully now with the new tie rod, and the ticking I was hearing wasn't my timing chain, it was my compressor, so I have air conditioning again now. They also didn't try to change out brakes that were still good, replacing only the ones that were required (a lot of dishonest auto shops will tell you that you need new brakes all around when that's not the case.) The price was so good that I'll probably take my cars here for most issues rather than doing the work myself. I'm extremely satisfied, which is rare for my experiences with auto shops. 5 stars well earned.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Brakes, A/C installation & repair

they always go above and beyond to take care of the issues i have with my car. from oil changes to welds, i know that the work done by the guys at K&E is top notch. the prices are totally fair and every mechanic there is honest and pleasant to deal with.

My mother and I just purchased a 2004 Honda Civic LX with 32,000 original miles. We took our car to K&E for state inspection, and didn't know what to expect. I have to tell you, this was a very positive learning experience from start to finish. The mechanic (owner) told us we needed front brakes, and did an outstanding job, for a very reasonable price. In the future, if I have any automotive needs I will definitely go back there. They are very honest (don't try to rip you off), and I highly recommend them. I guarantee you'll be very pleased with their service. They are located right on 8th avenue in Homestead(caddy corner to Walgreens).

One of my spark plug coils went out and the Advance Auto Parts down the street recommended this place. I was so impressed with them! I dropped my car off and they called me with a quote shortly afterward. The price was MUCH less than the dealership ($282 versus the $750 at the dealership) because their labor cost is way less. The guy told me I may be able to find the part for less elsewhere and if I did, they'd be happy to install it. I didn't go to the effort but I was happy the option was offered to me. They finished my car an hour earlier than predicted. It's running perfectly smooth now so the next car problem I have I'm going to them.On a side note, the place looks like an old gas station but they are great so overlook the non-fancy appearance.

K & E Automotive is the only fair and honest repair shop I've found in Pittsburgh. There may be a few others but I'm not aware of any.Harry Kainaroi has always been upfront and honest with me and does quality work at reasonable prices.The shop is always busy because of the outstanding service they provide.If you need car or truck repairs call K & E Automotive and make an appointment.

The owner hairy is a really good guy he got really good prices and he gets the job done when he gets it done in pretty good timing too I must say brakes rotors put some tires on all in a day and front it out and made my front clip straight on my van really good guy if you have a car and you want the problem to be resolved and not someone to be pennypinching you for everything he s a guy to go to he fixes what you tell him that needs to be fixed and he doesn t find more problems so he hast to get more work
