After I hit a deer I was very lost as to what I should do. My insurance company ( progressive ) barely spoke to me. Smail was very communicative. When I recieved my car back my heart sank because they really did do a great job fixing the issues. The paint looks great. Big thank you to those involved to fix my car. After they totaled my car against my wishes I was told I could pick up my car stereo system. When I arrived I waited 45 minutes for a mechanic to tell me I'd have to pay him $100 cash to do it. I didn't have money on me because I was unaware I had to bribe the employees. So I had to drive home and retrieve tools so I could remove the stereo system myself, I have no experience with automotive work.. It only took me 2 hours, in the pouring rain to do the job.. I'll never buy another vehicle from Smail again in my life and I'll spread this experience far and wide to any potential car buyers, to save them a similar horrible experience. Zero stars should be an option, it's what they deserve.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Had a minor follow up on a repair (loose side mirror plate). Took care of it while I waited, not long at all. Added adhesive to hold it on, taped it, told to leave tape on for 24 hours. That was a nice touch.

After hitting a large chunk of metal on the turnpike, which did extensive damage to my front end, Smail Collision Center very quickly negotiated the repairs with my insurance company, Nationwide, and promptly repaired my car. Their employees were very cheerful and professional. I would recommend them to all in the future.

I arrived to drop off my car, only to learn that the parts were not ordered and they had no record of a reservation for my loaner. Sam from Honda told me they had no vehicle for me, as I stared at a set of keys on the desk for an available loaner. After much discussion I was given a very small suv. This car was half the size of a comparable car to mine, and was due for service. I reluctantly took the vehicle, and was put on the schedule to get the correct loaner more than a week later.Similar to my prior experience during the duration of the repair I was never contacted as to the status of the repair.After moving around my schedule, driving 50 minutes from my home to the collision center, I arrive to a vehicle that is not connected. The bumper is not properly aligned, and the headlight damage in my initial email was not repaired...They told me that they going to correct the issues and I could come get my vehicle the following day. After driving another 50 minutes I again arrive to a vehicle that now has new paint chips and scratch marks on originally undamaged portions of the vehicle.I did not accept the vehicle that day, given it was not done correctly. The Smail Acura dealership manager and staff verified that the repair was not done correctly and additional damage had been done. The vehicle then returned to Smail collision for roughly another week. I picked up my vehicle the following week after the issues were fixed Two days after picking up the vehicle I noticed the sound insulation inside the wheel well had been torn. I took the vehicle to Smail Acura. They confirmed that the tear was a direct result of the repair.Acura Service kindly took my car back to Smail Collision. It was then communicated to me that Smail Collision response to the issue was "sorry there's nothing we can do"...They did add a clip which fell out the next day.I now have a 6 month old vehicle that has more damage then whenever I dropped it off to them originally.Note: This review is not reflective of my experience with Smail Acura sales and service, which has been positive.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I am very satisfied with every aspect of my experience there. The process was smooth, rental car was great and the finished work is awesome. Very professional. They even washed my windows (well) and vacuumed the inside. I did indeed feel like a valued customer. Thanks guys!

Had work done by these guys after having a bad experience with a different auto body shop. Way better their communication was much better and their ability to conduct business was much better I highly recommend them.

Took my truck here for an estimate in regards to, what seemed to be, a significant scuff on my paint. Consultation from Smail revealed what would be over $1,000 in repair. Decided to get a second opinion. Good thing I did as the scuff came off with adhesive remover. Shame on me for not attempting myself, but shame on them for trying to scam me out of over $1,000. Would not recommend.

Great overall experience!We went to Smail Autobody & Collision Center after my wife's accident. We were very happy with the overall experience. The staff was very professional and great to deal with. The work performed on the car was impeccable! You cannot even tell there were repairs made to the car. I highly recommend if you ever need to get your car repaired after an accident.

I have been dealing with Smail Collision Center for years now, as have family members as well. We have always received great service and professional repairs from the facility. I recently brought in a family car for repairs for peeling paint and couldn t be happier with the finished product. Very special thanks to repair techs in the back, who we never meet. Great job!

My fiance's vehicle was involved in a hit an run. Called and received a same day and same hour appointment for an insurance quote. Everyone here is super helpful and very pleasant to work with. Thank you for all the wonderful help.

When I took my 2016 mustang to them I was gutted. My first new car nearly paid off and a deer smashes in the driver's side door. When I picked my car up it was like it never happened. They even detailed it while they had it. I couldn't be happier.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

As always we had our Buick Encore serviced for regular scheduled maintenance at Smail. Very friendly, quick and knowledgeable. So happy with our last 2 yrs of service, we got a new car. This is our 3rd from Smail. Bob Quig was our Salesman. I'm so sorry I can't remember the service persons name. Thank you both.

I had been through an extremely stressful situation, but the matter of my car was handled very efficiently and professionally by Smail Collision Center. I had dealt with the business before and chose it at the time of my accident, but this was a much more serious and involved situation, and what I would most like to mention is the empathy that was shown by the young woman at the desk who helped me. Due to circumstances, I ended up in the office four times, and her compassion and kindness will not soon be forgotten. Thank you. I hope I never have to visit your office again (ha ha), but I will definitely recommend your business to friends.

I had my car in for service on several occasions in the past few months repeatedly for the same issue. I spent nearly $1000 on repairs, and the noise is still not resolved. My car was also in for an alignment, and the steering wheel continues to vibrate. This most recent time, I called to report the issue unresolved as well as my wheel still vibrating (within days of them performing an alignment). The only positive that comes out of my most recent experience is they decided not to throw any more money at my vehicle since I ve already spent $1000, and I continue to have the same issues. Kia has been no help either. I waited nearly a month for a part to become available, and the issue is still unresolved. This has been the worst experience with service and a particular brand of vehicle. Also, while my car was in for service, I received a call to trade-it-in. How about focusing on repairing my vehicle, and not attempting to sell me a new one. I will not purchase another Kia, nor will I purchase a vehicle from Smail. I will be purchasing new tires before long since they will be worn from failing to properly align my vehicle.

We took our 2013 Cadillac SRX in for work outside the warranty. The touch screen on our navigation system was cracking, like a spider web. We had already contacted the Infotainment Customer Service about the issue. They recommended we take it to a Cadillac dealership for official diagnosis. This is a very busy service department. We were about to leave the area after a two week visit. They fit us in and treated us like we were their best customers. Best service in a long time. To top it off, they underpromised and over delivered. My husband said to him, the most important fact was that they (Service Writer Michael Ponterio) listened to us!

I purchased a GMC Terrain 2 years ago from Smail Automotive. Loved my car. Unfortunately I totaled my car a week and a half ago. I contacted Smail Automotive that Monday. Jeff Markle went above and beyond for me. Explained my situation, the payment I wanted, and the cars I was interested. He worked with several banks to overcome a down payment. I was also unable to go to Smail Automtive to fill out paperwork and pick up my GMC Acadia. Jeff made the purchase seamless. Two wonderful gentleman delivered the car and documents to sign. The one gentleman saw my christmas decoration fell over. Saw how much pain I was in after accident and fixed for me. I cant say enough about Team Smail Automotive!

My truck needed $20,000 in repairs done cause a punk was texting and hit me ! My truck is perfect body guys I know can not find any flaws in the work .3 months later went back for touch up on door edge very hard part to prime and a bad Tire sensor the manager met me after work all he said we will take care of it . Dropped off truck at 8am picked it up at 5pm returned loaner . Again it's an perfect job ! I will reference this place since I have not had such good luck anywhere else and I have had work done else where up the road they sucked bad lost the engine cover and the paint fell off grill!

If you have a question or just want to check on the progress of your vehicle the customer service reps will respond right away, and the quality of work is a++ and for me it was done in a very timely fashion!

I recently had my windshield replaced. Smail did an outstanding job on the replacement. Communication was excellent and repairs were completed on time.
