The sad part is as I write this review I was told that this dealership is shady. I was told they have a bad reputation with customer service. I chose to ignore the advice I was given. I found a car that I was interested in and sent an email. I was emailed back the following day and told the car was available and that I could come down and take a look at it. I told them that I was in the middle of my job and that as soon as I had a chance to get to the phone, I will call them and set up a time to come look at it. They said that they understood that I was at work and couldn t talk until a later time and would wait to get my call to set up a time to come and look at the car. I called them 90 minutes later when I had a break and they said oh we were just getting ready to call you The car has just been sold- about 20 minutes ago. I was so ticked! I emailed them after I got off the phone and told them how unprofessional I thought that was of them to do that to me. They emailed me back and basically said that s the price of doing business and wished me luck because I also told them I would never buy a car from them. At the end of the day, it was my mistake and I should ve listened to the advice that I was given and not to go to this dealership. so if you go to buy a car at this dealership, just understand They might sell a car out from underneath you because well, according to them, that s the price of doing business. I don t understand how they maintain a clientele

I drove over 150 miles and it was easier than buying from the dealership up the street. I was treated with courtesy and professionalism from the time I arrived to the time I left with my new truck. The price was right for both my trade and new vehicle and the entire process was quick and straightforward. This was probably my easiest vehicle purchase ever, thanks again Nick and Smail Honda!

This place rocks! I bought a car here over the weekend and it was the easiest thing I ve done in a while. Their team is so friendly and I felt well-taken care of from the minute I stepped into the building. Special shoutout to Paul Akey for doing a fabulous job on the mechanical end of things, and to Rob Jupena for making my trade-in and purchase a seamless process. In true Pittsburgh fashion, it snowed all weekend and I feel 10x safer in this car vs my old one, so it couldn t have come at a better time

My wife and I just purchased our 7th car from Smail Automotive. They have always been great, but they keep getting better. Our salesman, Mason Zdobinsky, was well schooled and bought in to the Smail philosophy that every customer will be treated with respect and as a welcome guest. Mason went the extra mile for us. I ve already been talking to my nephew about Smail, and he is shopping.

Had my annual inspection done and the service was outstanding! Car was inspected and ready in less time than they promised including vacuuming and a wash. Counter help was polite and helpful! 5 stars!!

One of the easiest car buying experiences I ve done. Made you feel like family not like a customer they didn t force nothing on you. Everyone was friendly & helpful. They fixed my car quickly & sooner than expected. What I didn t like is that they wanted to price gauge for items that could be fixed at a local mechanic for a significantly cheaper price. This is why I only go to the dealership for warranty items or when absolutely necessary.

Purchase experience was fine. Every time we take it in for our service, we ask for a tire rotation and they never do it. I provided credit card information when setting up the service appointment, because tire rotation isn't included- and I say we want it done please go ahead and do it, and they don't. This has happened the last two times.Also- one time when we had an expired tag, no one alerted us at the time of service or said we can do that as well. You would think that would be checked and would be and "up sell " to have them do that too, but they didn't.

I had a very positive used car purchase buying experience from Kirill. He was transparent and worked to get us a solid price on our used VW Golf. I would consider returning here in the future, but hopefully I don t need another vehicle soon as most would say.

I've been to Smail twice now & I have to say both visits were great. My salesman, Mike Pavlik, was no pressure, easy-going & didn't attempt to influence my decision or sell me more than I was looking for. He's the only salesperson I will go-to. Within the next 2 years I'll be headed back in to see him for a 2nd vehicle... He made Smail a place I'll definitely comeback to and have recommended to many others.

Worked online and through texts. Gave very accurate trade in value with text pictures. Applied online for credit app and only took 20 minutes to agree on deal. Car will be ready tomorrow and fantastic overall experience. Great working with Jeff Hobbs. Low pressure and calm deal.

Took my 90 year old mothers car to Honda as all of her work is done here for years, we were having pulsating on the turnpike, so wanted to have the brakes checked. dropped off vehicle at 1pm, as the appointment was scheduled for, at 4 pm I called as nobody had called and they close at 5 pm. The car was not even looked at yet. So was told it would be done right away. received a call back 20 minutes later that we needed front brake pads $199.95, front rotors $399.95, and road force balance for $99.95!. Told them to have the car ready for pick up as I wanted a 2nd opinion. Scheduled an appointment withRandy Redinger & Sons Auto Service: Auto Repair Latrobe dropped the car off and was called with the diagnoses that brakes, rotors and pads were fine, tires needed balanced. What a shame Honda was willing to take advantage of a 90 year old woman that has traveled from Irwin to Greensburg to make sure she was loyal to Honda.

If you are ever in Greensburg, PA at Smail Auto Group either in person or over internet as I was. Ask for Andy Roberts. He went above and beyond to help me with car purchase from long distance. He not only made sure I had all information and pictures I needed he set a time and FaceTimed us so that we could see and hear the car running in real time. Barry in finance was extremely easy to work with and made that process a breeze as well. I would highly recommend Andy Roberts and the Smail Auto Group.

I needed a car but was sick to my stomach knowing I would HAVE to talk to a salesman after I doing my research, waiting for specials, discounts and walking the lot for hours after they were closed so I wouldn't feel like I was being watched, poked, and pressured unable to look and compare at my own pace.Of course to test drive between the 2 cars I had chosen the night before after hours, that I wanted to test drive I knew I would be speaking to someone.... well in less then 3 minutes into conversation with Jeff Hobbs my Smail auto group sales consultant, my anxiety was lifted. There was no pressure for test driving, no pressure to look at others, went over extra kia smail cash I was unaware of and surprisingly got me more money for my trade in. No pressure was put on me to reveal how much I was going to put down on it. It was a better shopping experience then 75% of even the simple retail stores that still remain in places like the mall or plazas. I definitely recommend Jeff Hobbs as your auto group sales consultant, I was lucky enough to find him at Smail Kia

What a joke. Bought a car there last year and had transmission issues the first week. They fixed it and now it's doing it again. Took it in today and they said they can see it's hesitating but not enough to fix it. Then charged us 200$ to take our car that's under warranty with a messed up transmission back.

We recently visited Smail auto group and was looking to purchase a new Acura. Justin Pisano and Joe Paouncic was very professional and courteous. Justin took the time to explain everything about the RDX to us. When we told him that we wanted to shop around at other brands to compare, he was very understanding and never tried to push us into the sale. After shopping around we decided to lease a new Acura. If you re looking to purchase or lease a new vehicle from any of the Smail dealerships, I highly recommend contacting Justin Pisano.

I had to order my new car and still waiting. So at this point in time I can speak to my experience with my salesperson Kirill. I won t hesitate to recommend him if someone is looking for car. He answered all my questions, understood my concerns about cost and financing options and best of all he didn t try to push me. He is definitely an asset to the Smail Family of Dealerships.

EDIT: never received a call from smail! Go figure. Worst company I ve come across in my life! Stay away! I was a loyal customer for years buying my last 3 vehicles from smail. I traded my gmc in for a 2020 Chevy Malibu 15k miles and within two weeks the front passenger had a leak causing a puddle on the passenger floor. They told me the cabin filter was fixed and within no time it happened again. Owned this car for almost a year now and it s been with them more than with me. I knew something was fishy when they told me it was headed to auction before I bought it but didn t mind pulling it to trade a loyal customer. Few months after purchase the transmission blew at less than 20k miles. Warranty covered it being replaced even though it almost killed me on rt 22. I ask them to please retain ownership and it was almost like a joke to them. They replace the transmission from my power train warranty and not too long after it started puttering out of nowhere and giving me service warnings. Puttering as in being on the turnpike and it would cut from 75 mph to 35 with no warning. I take it to them again and they tell me not to drive it on highways. What kind of reputable company does that! Not too long after that it happens again with my grandma in the car. I called gmc and they told me to take it another dealer. Went to another prominent dealer and was told my cabin filter was superglued shut, chicken wire in the engine, spark plugs were loose and there was chew marks like a rodent had done it. I would not buy or trade a vehicle with this company ever. Please use this review as a referral to go anywhere else.UPDATE: NEVER RECEIVED ONE PHONE CALL. AFTER ALL THE BUSINESS I DID WITH THIS PLACE THEY SCREWED ME OVER AND LEFT ME IN A HOLE!DO NOT BUY OR LEASE A CAR FROM THIS COMPANY!

I bought a truck back in January and they said they couldn t wash it due to it being too cold. So I take home couple weeks later washed and detailed it and found bunch of rock chips. I send them pictures and took it to them to get fixed I go down pick it up still not fixed they said they would call and figure it out. long story short and many failed attempts to reach them they still haven't fixed the problem or got back to me.

Waited 3 hours for a scheduled PA State Inspection, Oil Change & Tire Rotation without any updates. This was not a walk-in but a scheduled appointment. Was charged for a tire rotation when I have a GM Complimentary Lifetime Tire Rotation since I bought the vehicle. I understand that policies change but that should be going forward with new customers and should have no bearing on my agreement at the time of purchase. Expressed a concern with my vehicle & after 3 hours was told I would have to make another appointment when a master technician was available. The purpose of driving to a GM authorized dealership is to get service, I could go to Jiffy Lube if all I wanted was an oil change.
