I've been bringing my cars to to Joe for over 10 years. He has always been thorough and professional. His prices are fair and reasonable. I highly recommend talking your vehicle to this local, family owned repair shop.

Bought four Hankook Dynapro AT2 RF11 tires. Wow, price on the last four was shockingly unbelievable. I was thinking it was a scam. Worth the wait for delivery. One very happy customer, and will definitely buy again.

Thorough inspection of my car was very satisfying and will hopefully save me trips back to a mechanic for repair, as Ive had to see a mechanic 3 times within the past 6 months for different major car issues. They fixed a problem a dealership was supposed to have fixed and was more thorough and perceptive than other mechanics Ive seen. Hopefully time will tell if the results are better but they seem to be for now at least. Would recommend.

This guy is outrageously expensive. He charged me 159.00 for a 4 wheel alignment. I thought that was a high, so I checked around on prices at different garages . The cheapest I got was 80.00 the most expensive was 129.00. Also he gave me a price to replace my drive shaft support bearing at a price of 595.42 and I got a price at a different garage for 309.00 both with the part. WOW

have been a customer at performance plus for many years. Joe ( the owner) and his staff have always done a very good job with repairing any issue you may have with your vehicle. Whenever I m having a problem with my car, they are the first ones I call!Review update July 20, 2023,Performance plus has always done very good work on my vehicle whenever a problem comes up from time to time. The staff is always willing to help and try to find solutions to intermittent or more complex issues that can happen at any time. I continue to use and trust performance plus automotive for vehicle maintenance and repairs . Unless I need to take my vehicle for specialized testing or the manufacturer is covering a defect under warranty, Joe at performance plus is my first phone call to schedule an appointment with.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Auto maintenance, Oil change

I highly recommend Performance Plus Automotive, they are very helpful and great to work with! My truck broke down on a Sunday evening and I had it towed here through AAA. Monday morning they opened up at 8 and not knowing my truck was there. they worked on it in between schedules and got everything fixed up at a reasonable price, and by 2:00 that afternoon I was on the road again continuing my delivery, I definitely give them an A+Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning

I would like to know how a wheel alignment was done on my car when the front passenger side ball joint is bad and this was never even mentioned on the 79 point vehicle inspection that was done. I'm not even a mechanic and I could tell the ball joint was bad after driving the car. You can hear it making noise when you turn the steering wheel. I couldn't hear it before the service was done on my car because winter tires on front were very loud.Services: Wheel alignment, Auto tire replacement

Joe was prompt in immediately scheduling the service for my vehicle after my service engine light came on. They did a thorough job diagnosing the problem and had my vehicle ready to go the next day. They keep your old parts to show you the condition / need for replacement. They call for consent before doing additional services. Prices are reasonable. Performance Plus did an alignment on my 86 Pontiac Fiero. Joe was sorry nice and explained the work he did and showed all the specs of the work. Professional and knowledgeable of all things cars. Highly recommended.

I visited 15 minutes before closing time on a Friday. The staff was willing to stay late to help me out with my flat tire! I was very grateful! While I waited, I sat in the waiting area with the company of the owner. He took the time to tell me what was wrong with my tire and how they would be able to fix it. I wasn t able to get in with the dealership or a local mechanic I use. I went to performance plus in a rush. I ll start with the negatives:There are none! This place nailed it.I came in for switching out summer to all season rides for my Audi. The one summer tire had a leak, and had to keep filling it up. They took my call, said they could pick me up (I m very close at stouts carpet) dropped me off, and only charged $120 for mounting all 4 tires AND balancing them. The dealership and others would we twice that and take longerThis place has the nicest employees and staff as well. Even the mechanics were nice. I ll be a lifelong customer. I cannot give a higher recommendation for this business and their caring team. Joe at the front desk is a great guy and always helpful. They accommodate you quickly and go out of their way to provide quality service, many times same day, while also offering a ride if you are stuck. Great service and highly recommend! The staff goes above and beyond to make their customers happy. I travel about 45 minutes one way to get my alignments done there. Had the suspension replaced and a few other odds and ends. Thank you Performance Plus for the great work. I will definitely be a return customer!!

This was my second time using PPA to get my car feeling brand new again. The technician takes pictures to verify the replacement. And if you agree to go ahead with the repairs your getting a 2yr/24000 mile warranty of the part replaced with the repairs done right. It seems they go the extra mile to take care of the customer. I have an older car (1977) that would not start. Figured it may be a fuel issue. Talked to several other shops and no one was interested in looking into the problem. Proformance not only said they would take a look they made arrangements to have it towed to their shop. They looked over the car suggested some things to make it more reliable. No high pressure just observations. Gave an estimate for each job. They did great work at a reasonable price.

We were on a road trip when we got a flat tire. We called Performance and they quickly went to the shop to get the tire we needed and prioritized putting it on for us. They were kind and friendly as we all piled into their waiting room and affordable too!Service: TiresService: Tires

Had a terrific experience with my car repair. They were considerate of the costs involved, looked for ways to save me money, and do the job right. Had taken the vehicle to the dealer first and was not given accurate information about what needed repaired. Will always bring my car back to Performance Plus. They do a great job.

My one and only mechanics! Joe and Dan are terrific. Not only they take good care of my car, but of me as well, like drive to pick me up and then to return my car. They also print out a detailed list of what has been done, and always ask what I want done. For example, they don't insist that I should have the most expensive tires, because they know I am on a fixed income. Five Star Excellent service.Excellent attention to detail.I needed to replace my trucks engine and a few other services, Performance Plus took great care of my vehicle. Not having a background in mechanics or very much knowledge on the subject, they took the time to make sure I understood everything that was going on. They always had options for me to choose from that best fit my financial needs. They even made sure I had a ride while my vehicle was being worked on.

Being an GM Auto Tech since 1980 I found it very strange not to be able to find a shop who would work on my 1988 Chevrolet Silverado. I had left it at 3 different supposedly reputable shops in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, they kept it for a day and one told me he had no clue what was wrong with it and the other 2 said it was too old and they didn't have the equipment to work on it. Jim from Performance Plus took it right in and kept me advised on how the diagnosis and things it needed in a timely manner. The waiting area was very clean and the Shop was the cleanest I had ever seen!I Highly Recommend Performance Plus Automotive!Again Performance Plus kept my 1988 Chevrolet Silverado going by replacing my fuel pump and installing a couple tires plus wiper blades! Parts were no available anymore for the windshield washer but Joe's Team was able to clean the components and get them working also repaired a circuit board on a tail light!I find Performance Plus to be very Professional but yet down to Earth! Seems like a place I would have liked to work for! After having several garages unwilling to evaluate the issue with my engine, these guys were willing to diagnose immediately. They kept me abreast of all the details, explained every step, and even counseled me on how to approach the manufacturer to have the repair covered. Even though I had to take it to the dealer to have the repair (as required by manufacturer), they prepared a full report of their diagnosis to ensure I had my problems addressed. I will be using them in the future as they are clearly focused on gaining customers and not just making a sale.Service: Engine repair

I gave them a small ranger with no powersteering and aftermarket suspension for an alignment so I figured if they got it close I would be satisfied. Their technicians absolutely knocked it out of the park. It's the best wokI've ever had to pay for!

Performance Plus is a very fair and awesome place to go to have your automobile work done! The Staff is not only fair to deal with i always enjoy the visit its like walking through the door to family.
