I take my 73 beetle here and he has no issues working on it. This place is trustworthy, very reasonable and will go above and beyond. If you want an honest reliable mechanic I 10 out of 10 highly recommend.

Took my car there for inspection and was very happy with the excellent and honest service! As a female I always worry about getting ripped off on things like inspections but I feel very comfortable coming here and appreciate the level of honesty and professionalism! Am making it my new inspection place as well as for any other repairs it would ever need!

Joe is a great guy and it's a blessing to have him and his wife so close to home. They are honest and down to earth. He doesn't try to upsale unnecessary repairs, But will mention if something will need done at the time of service or in the future. If your looking for a good garage to make your regular "Go to" Look no further. I wish him and his growing family well in the years to come. As a fellow Toyota enthusiast, I love seeing all the Toyota's he has.

As a lady, Its hard to find honesty when you don't know much about cars & Ive had some really ridiculous experiences and huge expensive repairs, I didn't need. Joe did my inspection, purchased and mounted new tires, saw I needed a new sway bar and repaired a pin hole in my exhaust. He took time throughly going over my car. I felt assured my car was safe when I picked it up. I never felt comfortable dealing with previous places where mechanics were vague on description for repairs. I've been to too.many bad places. Once I met Joe I knew he would be a good mechanic, I can trust, that's reasonably priced, too! He's friendly and patiently takes time caring for your car. He's a keeper!I I know Joe will be fair and honest and keep my car safe and running well. I'm so thankful I dont have to look for a decent mechanic anymore. Joe's a hard mechanic, I.know will take good care of me.Services: Exhaust, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

I have a large trip coming up for a vacation and wanted to make sure my car was ready. I knew it was due for a timing belt and wanted it looked over. I was very pleased with McDonald Auto Clinic. I am confident in my cars ability to make this trip. The service was great and the prices were very fair. Joe does excellent work for a very fair price. He gives you straight answers and an honest assessment of what he finds. It's one of those places that I can say "...and if you find anything else while you're in there doing (a caliper for example), go ahead do what ever else you find that needs done." without worry because he'll correct an issue if he finds it, but he doesn't fix what isn't broken. It's always good to have a trustworthy technician. We've taken all of our cars to him and he's always done right by us.

What a breathe of fresh air this place is! They replaced a clutch for me in my 25 year old truck for a very fair price and didn t try to up sale me on anything. I ll be taking my truck and future cars to this shop as needed. Don t hesitate getting work done here!

I knew my van's engine was in need of a major repair. Joe and and his staff quickly diagnosed and isolated my engine problem. After I decided to move forward with the repairs, the job was completed in a quality and timely manner with very reasonable pricing. I recently needed to get my car looked at for a weird noise coming from the engine. As soon as he checked under the hood the problem was found and he was able to repair it with ease. McDonald Auto Clinic is reliable, affordable, and fast. I thought Joe did good work but it was too slow a process and new brakes on car he did needed replaced less then 9 months later not saying he's bad but just not fast enough for me had same job done by another garage they did in less time and another cheaper but overall good mechanic just can't put five stars the last review went missing but this same post on multiple sites

I ve had our 16 Subaru Forester brake noise issue looked over by a local Subaru dealership and they were not able to identify and resolve the issue. Had Joe McDonald check it over and he took the time to identify and resolve. Highly recommend to all!Service: BrakesService: Brakes
