Today was my first experience with the team at Guthriesville Tire. I took my travel trailer in for state inspection and the staff were all pleasant and professional. They accommodated my schedule and the work was completed promptly. I ll be returning with other vehicles for tires and service. Highly recommend them.

Guthriesville Tire & Service provides exceptional customer service. From greeting you when you arrive to local shuttle service, your patronage is appreciated. The workmanship is top notch and they are straight shooters. The choice is yours what you decide to get done but any service recommendations are what is suggested to preserve your long term safety and driver satisfaction. Don t sleep on them, they offer way more than just tires.

The team at Guthriesville Tire & Service did a great job with our recent service appointment. The work was completed on time and everything needed for the visit was well explained and quoted before any work was done. It is refreshing in this day and age to deal with honest and professional companies such as Guthriesville. I would highly recommend Guthriesville Tire and Service for any of your automotive service needs.

Guthriesville Tire is a good local shop. Dennis has an uncanny ability to explain auto issues and mechanical things in easy to understand laymen s terms. They ll tell you about your cars condition and any trouble spots developing but aren t pushy about it. Their record keeping is impeccable. They installed a timing belt and put a durable sticker on the belt guard with the mileage it was done at. Never seen another shop do that before.They offer shuttle service which is great, you don t have to get an Uber or bug anyone for a ride. Even if you wait with your vehicle, it s comfortable with Wi-Fi, restroom, coffee, snacks and TV.Best way I can describe the shop is it has the building, interior and tech like a big chain would, but retains the friendliness, professionalism and value of a small mom and pop garage. Best of both worlds.

The team was very helpful and accommodating. The repair and expectations were clearly explained and I was informed of each step along the way.There were multiple issues that needed to be addressed and the RV was completed on schedule.

Dennis and his team did a great job. Our Elantra was not turning well and groaning. Guthriesville Tire & Service got our alignment fixed perfectly and solved all our maintenance issues quickly. We got exactly the tires we wanted installed same day. Fast & very professional! Definitely recommend

Dan was extremely friendly and worked with us to help fix an emergency when I woke up to go to work and had a nail in my tire. Fit us in and was professional and kind at check in. Dennis was also professional and welcoming as we are new to the neighborhood. Pricing is fair too. Drove my car to the front when done to get me on my way more efficiently.

I'm very happy with the service I have received at Guthriesville Tire and Service. My first visit was to get a motorcycle inspected. They were very friendly, and explained everything thoroughly. The second time I went with a good friend to get her motorcycle inspected. She had misplaced her paperwork for registration and insurance. Everyone there was very patient and helped her get the necesary document from the state and her insurance company. On my third and most recent appiontment, I had my work van serviced and inspected. They took care of eveything and returned the truck on time as promised. I am very pleased the online appointment scheduling and the friendly people working there. I will be servicing all my vehicle with them in the future. I would definetly recomend them to anyone who is looking for a new place to have their vehicles serviced.

We are long time customers of Guthriesville Tire and Service. Both of our cars have been serviced here since their purchase. We have always felt that we are in good hands. Repairs that are needed have been explained fully and there has never been an issue with scheduling an appointment.Recently, while the car was being inspected, some additional work was recommended as the car was to be traveling to Florida. I appreciate this as it gives us a sense of security. I had to unload the trunk to do a check of the battery and spare tire and they even reloaded the trunk for me. That was above and beyond what was expected and totally appreciated.

Coming home from Lancaster, I got a flat tire. Guthriesville Tire was able to replace my tire and get me back on the road. They had me moving again in about 30ish minutes. Nice service writer made my inconvenience less painful.

Dennis has a great business and takes great care of his customers. I was out of my element when a large nail ruined my day. Found his place by luck and he drove me to my appointment while they fixed my tire and then picked me up. I will definitely be buying my new tires in May at his establishment when im back in the area.

I had been looking for a place to address steering issue on our 1 ton dually truck. Not disappointed. Issue was diagnosed and addressed and as I needed tires as well, Dennis was able to locate some, get them delivered and installed rapidly which was great since I was driving through the area .

Very ProfessionalGreat serviceI bought Michelin tires which are more expensive but was not happy with my Yokohama tires skidding.Safety with better tires trumps the extra price!Thanks!

I had a major issue at Advanced Auto where oil was a geyser out of my filter (ended up being double gasket). Anyway the gentleman who owns Guthriesville Tire just happened to be there and replaced my filter and helped me out!! Definitely won my business! Honest man who was very willing to help!

My son has an older car and Dennis and his team thoroughly inspect every inch of it to make sure he can keep rolling. Nice touch checking the spare for proper inflation for just in case.

Dennis and his team do first-rate work and always come through. I trust his shop and know that he is looking out for my family and me. Going beyond the call on my last visit for front brakes, Dennis detected a gas tank leak. He knocked out that added task same day with no hesitation. Simply put, he and his shop make car maintenance look easy. Nothing fazes them. Very impressive. It is a blessing that I found this shop years ago!

We have relied on GT&S for servicing a variety of our vehicles over the last e eight years with the highest degree of confidence for routine maintenance as well as unanticipated repairs. Dennis, Renee, Dan, and the crew are first-rate. The business provides reliable service at a fair price. Being savvy consumers, we price-compare and always end up with GT&S. I like to say you get what you pay for when purchasing goods and services. Quality does not cost, it pays.

Was able to book an appointment easily online. They brought my vehicle right in. Clean waiting area with amenities and wi-fi. In and out in a timely manner. Overall a othr good service experience!

I stopped in yesterday with a flat tire. The crew at Guthriesville Tire & Service quickly patched my tire and fixed a dead brake light for me too. The guys out front, Dan and Dennis, are super friendly and I enjoyed chatting with them. Overall experience was great and it didn't break the bank.

Dennis and Dan and all the guys and gals I don t know by name have been taking care of multiple vehicles between my wife and I for the better part of a decade. Their business has always been great and super accommodating, going out of their way to help us more than once. Their establishment has only improved as time goes on. It s a tremendous relief to know we have a reliable mechanic service if and when things go wrong. Thanks Guthriesville Tire & Service!

With one poor review, I had a bit of concern about purchasing tires. I stopped in person and talked to George who gave me a very professional review of the tires available for my truck. I made an appointment a couple of days later by phone. I arrived a bit early and George had everything ready. There is a nice spot to sit and read the current paper and other literature. A bit later the owner Dennis came out and took me back to show me a seal leak on my rear and to show me that I would need new rear brakes for state inspection. At no point did anyone try to hard sell me. I was treated like family. The owners wife Renee also came out to talk a bit and thank me for my business. George can be a bit entertaining so the time passed quickly. All in all an outstanding experience and I intend to do all my tire business with these folks going forward.

My car died and I took it to this place to have a alternator and battery replaced. Then when I brought it home my AC wasn t working. I brought it back to this place and it was going to cost me another $1400 to get I don t even know what replaced. I took it to pep boys and 2 other mechanics and they all told me that when Guthriesville replaced the alternator and battery that they must of knocked the freon out of the tube for the AC and that all I needed was Freon. All 3 mechanics told me to take it back to Guthriesville because it was very obvious what had happened and Guthriesville should be able to refill it no charge. Guthriesville was adamant that this other thing needed to be replaced (the $1,400). I decided to just get the Freon and my car is still just fine. It s been several months now. Also, I feel as though Dennis is very combative and made me feel very uncomfortable while trying to prove his point to me. Bad vibes.

I had an emergency with my brake system and Guthriesville Tire was able to quickly diagnose and resolve the problem, working me into their schedule on short notice. Great shop. Great team. Wouldn't use any others.

My first visit to Guthriesville Tire & Service and I was very impressed. Very pleasant personnel, very knowledgeable about the tires I was purchasing. Took time to explain the alignment and discussed other services they can do for me. I know many who have used this service station throughout the years and now know why they are so pleased. I will certainly refer more individuals their way.

BEWARE! Surprise Fees and Overpriced/Unnecessary Services!Guthriesville Tire & Auto will charge you fees without telling you upfront about any of them. We were charged $185.50 for them to just look at our truck. They do not tell you about the fee to run diagnostics / look at your vehicle until after they do it.We brought our truck in thinking it might need a new spark plug and / or fuel filter due to the truck sputtering sometimes while driving. Thinking it would be a quick and easy repair, rather than take it to our regular mechanic, we took it to Guthriesville Tire & Service as they are only 30 seconds away from us.We told them clearly what we thought the issue might be, and they said they would look at it and get back to us on what they found. They made no mention of a fee to look at it. They called a few hours later and said it was $185.50 just to do the diagnostics (which we have never had charged by our regular mechanic), and had a list of recommended repairs totaling a few thousand dollars.Obviously, instinct is to not trust a company who "surprises" you with a fee, so we declined their recommended services and reluctantly paid the $185.50 for their "diagnosis" to get our truck back.We immediately took it to our regular mechanic, who shook his right away after hearing that we took it to Guthriesville Tire & Service. Apparently they have quite the reputation. Even another mechanic, who was just walking by, heard us, and said "Wow, you must have dealt with Dennis there." and shook his head as well. Dennis is the owner of Guthriesville Tire & Service, and he is the one we dealt with directly.Moral of the story, if for some reason your vehicle ends up at Guthriesville Tire & Service, ask about any and all fees before leaving your vehicle there. And ALWAYS get a second opinion / quote from another mechanic in the area before letting them do any work to your vehicle. Almost guaranteed, the other mechanics price will be cheaper and your vehicle will magically need less work done to it.There are plenty of honest / reliable mechanics in the area. This place does not fit that description.

Very efficient and thorough work in locating our almost invisible puncture, as well as checking our car s light bulbs without being asked to.Friendly chatty staff who made my repair time wait comfortable, along with their clean office, restroom, waiting area, coffee, free WiFi and their delightful friendly dog!
