I have been bringing my Honda automobiles to Matta Motors for many years. They just did a major service on my Pilot and I couldn't be happier. Quality work, fair prices, and excellent communication. They are always 100% transparent about what they think needs to be done, and then working to come up with a plan. I like them so much, I drive 45 minutes to have them do our major service jobs!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto brake repair, Engine repair, Vehicle Inspection, Brakes, Auto emissions testing, Vehicle safety inspection, Auto maintenance

This garage is the last of the honest and skilled Independent garages. They have been our garage for over 10 years and they keep our Honda and Acura vehicles in tip top shape. Prices are always fair and way lower than the dealership. They have knowledge of Honda products!With regular preventative maintenance we have an element that s still running like new at 285,000 miles!Love these guys!Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Tire rotations, Brakes, Auto tire replacement, Auto emissions testing, Wiper blade installation, Auto maintenance, Auto brake replacement, Oil change

If you have a Honda that's out of warranty Matta is the correct answer to whatever ails it. Been going to them for years.Avoid the stealerships, save your $$$

My son had to take his Honda Accord Sport in spur of the moment on a Sunday and didn't know what was wrong with it. By Monday, he had an answer of the issue and cost. Even though it took a week for them to fix, we totally understood because it went in from an unexpected breakdown and they knew the issue right away and communicated that it would be able to be fixed by them and the cost and they kept in touch on when it'd be done. Can't ask for anything better! We really appreciate all they did and will certainly be back. Thank you!

If you happen to own a Honda, Acura, Hyundai, or Kia...then you're in luck. Matta Motors is the only place that you should take your vehicle. Their work is high quality and the prices are reasonable (and I was blown away by the staff's encyclopedic knowledge of Hondas), but the main reason that you want to go there ----and nowhere else-- is their honesty.I had an overheating problem with my Pilot and had it towed to Matta. In addition to accurately diagnosing the cause of the overheating, the mechanic also carefully looked over my vehicle and gave me a frank assessment of what it would need to pass the state safety inspection next year (above and beyond what it would cost to fix the car's original problem). And much of the work that would be needed wasn't even done at Matta, so they recommended some other garages to check out, should I decide to go ahead with the repairs.Turned out that the car wasn't worth all of the money that it would take to make it right so I decided to get rid of the vehicle,, but I never would have realized that without the team at Matta taking that proactive extra step of looking at everything before going ahead with an expensive repair that would've ultimately amounted to throwing my money down the drain. I'm sure that not every garage would do that.Going forward, I will always take my Hondas to Matta Motors. Pittsburgh is lucky that they're here.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Went on a recent road trip so had them check my car out. My uncle referred me and said they were knowledgeable and fair. I was impressed that they were done very quickly the next morning. I thought my brakes may need replaced and let them know that was my main reason for coming. They could of easily told me I needed them and charged me but told me I still had a while to go. Will definitely be going there in the future!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Great mechanics with fair prices. A friend told me they cross 2 rivers to go here, which is high praise for Pittsburgh. They fixed my breaks quickly and for less than expected. If you have a Honda this is the place to go.

This is more of a thank you than a review. We have recently moved to Kansas, but the staff at Matta Motors told us that if we ever had a Honda repair question or needed car advice, please do not hesitate to call. I took them up on their offer. We were in the market to purchase a used CR-V here in Kansas, so I called Dan Matta for his advice and he steered us in the right direction on the best year to purchase and the acceptable price range for that year. We bought the CR-V year that he recommended at a fair price. The only down side of our purchase is that we don t have a Matta Motors here in Kansas if needed. Thanks again Dan, it s always a pleasure talking to you, Jim and Kent.

The best for honest quality service on my Honda automobiles. Dan, Jim and Kent work with you to get the appointment you want. And the mechanics are excellent at what they do and the always leave you car clean and neat when work is completed. And you will always get a full explanation of the work needed and completed on your vehicle. Whether Honda, Kia or Hyundai you can not go wrong by at least calling Matt's Motors for your next oil change or repair!

Definitely the best place to get your Honda Serviced. Fair and honest Honda people here. I wouldn't think about taking my Honda anywhere else for service. They always seem to have a nice selection of used Hondas as well. Dan and Jim are the Dream Team when it comes to getting my car taken care fixed.

I can't think of another business that embodies old-fashioned customer service, with fair pricing and top-notch technicians. It is true what Matta Motors says... An inconvenient location and hours lead to great savings. All I can say is hands down, this is the BEST place to take your Honda or Acura. They consistently blow the Acura dealer's pricing out of the water. I just had them refresh my front suspension on my Acura MDX (struts, sway bar links, etc.). It drives like it is brand new again. Quiet and smooth. The other thing great about them is they do quality work right the first time. They really are excellent. I also appreciate Joe and Dan and the other staff. They call and keep you updated on the status of your repair or if they have found something else. They also don't try to do phony upsells. What I mean is, if they can replace a bushing for $7 instead of the entire control arm for hundreds of dollars, they will tell you and do just that. What other car repair facility do you know of who is that honest? I don't know of any. I can't think of any dealer service center or other independent garage that I would give a 5-star rating to, but with Matta Motors, it is well deserved.

These guys are the best! Take your Honda here!We have been going here with our 2001 Honda Civic for years. Their prices are fair, and they do great work. Not much more you can ask for.

I've taken my hondas to Matta's for years. Everyone in my family also trusts their cars with Matta I'm pretty sure my dad started to take his cars to Matta starting in the early 1990's. The staff is very helpful, the repairs are always top notch and you can't beat their prices.

Had a problem with my Accord and local mechanic said to give Matta a call. Talked to a very nice gentleman, he asked me a few questions and explained what was likely the issue with my vehicle. He said I could bring it in the next day. Made arrangements to get a ride, called back an hour later to schedule and got a completely different person on the phone. Said it was going to be $40 to just read the diagnostic code, very rude demeanor and seemingly just wanted to treat me as someone that they could price gouge. With the advice of the original gentleman I talked to, I fixed my car myself for $45 and half an hour of my time. Matta Motors could be a good Honda mechanic, but I'll never know because of one insolent degenerate that they let answer the phone that day.

I was on my way to the hospital when I heard a disconcerting sound coming from my right quarter panel. I had to park in the ER parking lot at the hospital the day before and the rebar from parking lot that sticks up through the concrete slabs caught on my front bumper and pulled it out when I backed out. The Gentleman at Matta Motors, where I pulled off to inspect the scraping noise, was kind enough to come out, take a look, and secure my damaged panel so that it was drivable. He wouldn't take any money for good deed. The kindness of strangers can have a positive impact in our day-to-day activities.

My 2012 Accord was showing a check engine light, and the codes pointed to a couple of different possible problems. Two local mechanics failed to fix or even diagnose what was wrong. Matta motors diagnosed the problem and fixed it for about half the money that I was expecting to pay, and had the car back to me on time. They were great to work with, and I'll be steering Honda and Acura owners there whenever possible.

Best Honda specialists around. They know what they are doing, fair prices, and fast turn around. If you need your Honda fixed, go to them and get it done right.

When I got my first honda, without even asking, friends kept telling me to go to Matta Motors if I had anhy problems with my newly acquired Honda. They were so right! I've experienced nothing but professionalism, courtesy and respectful dealings with all of the staff. And they are beyond reproach with regards to honest pricing. I remember calliing them from the DEALER because I was concerned that the price the dealer was quoting me was too high, but Matta told me that it was in the range of acceptable (needed something in a hurry and didn't have the time to go to my favorite, Matta, for the repair). Don't hesitate, these guys are the real deal. If you are looking for honest prices, respectful staff and knowledgeable mechanics, if you use Matta Motors, you will achieve your goals.

I have taken my step daughter's Honda Element several other places for repair in the past. After going to Matta I would never go anywhere else. I make her drive from Morgantown, WV or have the car towed to take it to Matta. No joking.They are honest, reasonably priced, professional, and trustworthy. I basically them to do anything that needs done. Check it over and let me know.Other places given that level of cart blanche would take that as an invitation to rip you off. Not Matta. They only do what is necessary and will advise you on what needs done now and what will eventually need done.Go there. Your car will thank you for it and so will your wallet.

Very nice people and good work. Had some exhaust work and there was some rubbing afterwards. I took it back. They fixed it for no additional cost and gave me a loner car. They also came running out when noticing I had a break light out and changed it for less than cost. You just don't get service like this nowadays.

Truly an honest mechanic! Been going there for over 25 years. Like family. I only buy Acuras and Hondas because that's what they service. In fact, I've bought 3 cars from them.

I slow down as I was driving past Matta Motors and my stupid phone suggested perhaps I should evaluate my visit quote on quote to Matta Motors. Danny's a great guy I didn't stop in to say hello at 3 a.m. because no one was there all I did was stop at the dam stop sign and look at a car and then proceeded home
