Really nice guy, squeezed me in for an inspection and even topped off the air in my tires. He was busy, didn't have time in his appointment book, but he and his wife made time and my sticker was just about out. Known him for years...most honest, trustworthy mechanic...when out of state living I've come back with cars! Highly recommend!

Can t tell you how many mechanics have tried to give me the go around since I m a female ! Jed is amazing, he s never done that and has always made me feel super comfortable. His pricing is wonderful and service is always done correctly. Can t say enough good things about him and the way he does things. I m a forever customer !!!

Love it this is the first mechanic that I have actually continued to keep going back to see and tell friends about. Prices are fair he works with ya explains and shows things to you if something is wrong and also is honest and will send you in the right direction if he can't do it or doesn't have the equipment to do it.

Jed Allan is simply the best mechanic in the area. He has fixed and serviced my cars when others have failed. I drive 15 miles for him to work on my cars and vans. My family drives 50 miles for him to work on there vehicles. I can't recommend him enough. He is just the best.

Blew a tire not far from his shop and he fixed me up right away. Have all my work done there by far the best shop around town. Jed is the best.

I only go to Jebs, he s honest and affordable, has fixed extra for me at no cost, understands I m on my own w/children. Have never had any problems with my vehicle nor the staff. I will continue to use this service for as long as I live here, I also have referred friends and that s the only place they take their vehicles as well. Jed's Auto Truck Service is absolutely great. I started going there a few few years ago for yearly inspections and haven't left since! He is always so thorough and honest, and truly doesn't try to rip you off. Any time I needed my car done quickly (because I always forget about my inspection ) , they have accommodated me with kindness. Best mechanic I ve ever had, He is very trustworthy and the pricing is beyond fair. I have been scammed by just about every mechanic I have been to, so Jed is a breath of fresh air. He will always be my go to guy, he s friendly and does a really good job.

I ve been here a few times and have never been disappointed by the services provided. Very nice people work here, Jed took time to explain things to me and gave me tips on some things as well, he was very nice and patient but also worked timely and efficiently. He did an absolute AMAZING job fixing multiple parts on my SUV and inspected it all in 1 day. He is very honest and fair with his prices. He went far beyond my expectations...and that is why I will recommend his shop to anyone else that needs work done to their vehicle.

Always professional service with great labor rates. Very comfortable waiting room if you choose to wait for quick repairs to be made or during safety inspection. Scheduled work is also done on time when promised and again, labor rates are terrific.

Great place, Jeds very reasonable, he's very friendly to customers. He also does walk in inspections which is great if your in a bind. He's the only guy I trust working on my vehicle.

Great place with no nonsense. Took me as a walk In even though he already had plenty of work. A real straight shooter. Probably the most trustworthy mechanic/shop I have ever been to. 1simple inspection turned into a life long customer! If you take your car anywhere else you are wrong.

4 years of working with Jed Allen's shop and I do not want to go anywhere else. Jed is a straight shooter that is willing to listen. I have bought vehicles from Jed, i get my inspection done at Jed's, have had tires replaced from Jed, engine work done at Jeds, and Jed has even taken the time to help give me professional advice concerning vehicle purchases and repairs on my vehicles if I wanted to try doing the work myself. I trust Jed and I am glad to have an honest mechanic in our community to do business with.

I use to do my own work until my landlord changed my lease and said I couldn't work on my car anymore.Checked jed out from various recommendations from family and friends and have stuck with him since.Very fair and reliable. Doesn't give you a run around, or try to sneak any extra charges or services on you.

Wondering place and service. I recently moved up to Altoona area and neeeded a PA inspection. My car needed some work done to it before it could pass and Jed took care of it. Took the time to talk to me and explain what needed done. Will definitely be going back whenever I need my car fixed and etc.. highly recommend Jed Allan s Auto Truck Service.
