This was not my first time I have had problems with this dude. He had told I needed a new engine, I bring it to another mechanic to get another opinion , just to be told absolutely nothing is wrong with my engine and in fact it is my turbo which he said was brand new and was perfectly fine. This is what happens when you re a young girl just trying to get their car fixed. THEY SCAM YOU! If there was an option for 0 stars I would have chosen that.

If you need a final push to take your vehicle to Shmaygers, let it be this review. I've taken my hybrid to Dmitri both for regular inspections and for maintenance issues, and he is always helpful, honest, timely, and affordable. He takes appointments by phone, text, or email (options that do make a difference to me when choosing any provider), and I've never had to wait more than a day or two to get my vehicle in. He's patient and understanding when I'm frustrated about car problems, and I've never felt talked down to or treated differently as a woman, something that has definitely been an issue with auto shops in the past. My husband goes to Shmaygers as well and we both really appreciate Dmitri's knowledge and customer service. I think the only reason I would ever take my vehicle anywhere else at this point would be if Dmitri told me to. I trust him that much. Thank you, Dmitri, and to anyone else reading this, take your vehicle to him already!

I called DIMITRY at night when they were closed..my car had broken down & engine had blown! DIMITRY was nice enough to give me a call that night, even after hours & offer to have it towed to his shop to take a look at it! I got a call back first thing in the morning that I needed my engine replaced, he gave me a fair price, would start working on it immediately! (even though it was thrown into his hands!) Amazing!!!He even offered to have my car back in a timely matter sometime within about 5days! He was understanding, professional, and just outstanding so far! I will post a follow up review after I receive my vehicle back! But right now I am definitely recommending DIMITRY at Shmayger s Auto Repair! Thank you for taking care of me!Service: Engine repair

Just got my car back from inspection & I must say I m super happy. The service is uncanny! Had my car next door for new tires & he took it upon himself to do the inspection right after the tires were mounted! I didn t even have to go back & move the car next door or anything. Awesome service, great guy! Thank you.

All of the good reviews you see are true. This is a great, honest, and very professional business. If I didn't live 1 1/2 hours away I would take every car and my cousins here. Actually, I still might. I highly recommend him.

Dimitri went above and beyond to repair my sagging passenger side door that has been giving me problems over the last few years. Dimitri is courteous, efficient, and informed me what the cost would be before he started the work. I am very happy with the door. No more sag or squeaking and the window moves up and down correctly. Top notch mechanic! From now on I am bringing all of my business here. Had a little issue with my headlights and instead of beating around the bush like my other mechanic this man helped me fix them for much cheaper than the other mechanic. Highly recommended!!!!! HONEST

Dimitry Shmayger is the only auto mechanic I will go to. He is the only one knowledgeable enough to work on my Jaguar. He saves me lots of money and accurate with the diagnosis. Strongly recommend.
