Simply put my glk 350 was at this shop for engine work. The problem was resolved $1300 later and I got six weeks out of the completed job. The engine problem is back. The owner did not fix the problem, nor Will he unless I want to spend an additional $3,000 to fix other components of the engine that could be the issue. I m thinking we need to do better than that. Just throwing darts in the dark to see where they stick. I requested 50% of my money back, as he had no problem taking it to fix the issue but it was a flat no. So beware buyers .this was my experience at this shop. I m not impressed. Almighty dollar wins again.

Great experience with Charlie and Rennsport Tuning. I was buying a 958.2 Cayenne from out of state and Charlie did a great job with the PPI. Easy to work with and talk to, and gave me what I felt like was his honest an informed opinion.

So stocked to hear Charlie was able to repair a 911 clutch repair better than expected. He was pretty accurate on his original quote. Thanks Rennsport Tuning!

Charlie is an exceptional and knowledgeable mechanic for European automobiles. Here in Erie, if you own anything other than a domestic make, you pretty much have only one dealer to choose from for service. Our local Audi dealer did not provide me with quality or knowledgeable service (claimed the DSG fluid in my transmission was lifetime, even though owners manual clearly states it needs to be changed!).Charlie is upfront with prices and time required for repairs. All work he has done on my Audi was done quickly and solved the problems. He is exceptionally honest. I requested a carbon clean of my intake, and he could have charged me full price, but after inspection he sent me pictures showing it did not need the service.He is busy, so if you foresee service, book your appointment early!Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Brakes

Rennsport is awesome! They preformed a pre purchase inspection on a car for me on short notice. Charlie is very, very knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. He went above and beyond to help me out. Their prices are very fair. I cannot recommend them enough!

Porsche drivers of western PA, you don't know how lucky you are! While my wife and I were driving from Baltimore to Erie for a wedding, our 911 issued a stern warning that we needed to visit a repair shop. Short on time, we arrived at RennSport Tuning without an appointment on a Saturday morning, and Charlie graciously diagnosed the issue, cleared the code, and even provided advice on what maintenance to prioritize on our newly-acquired used car. If we didn't live so far away, we'd be regular customers -- if you're nearby, this is the place to take your Porsche.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Had an absolute horrible experience with this guy. Brought my car in for an oil leak and after 2 weeks of him trying to find something else wrong with the car he finally got around to repairing the oil leak. He called me stating that the oil pressure relief valve was stripped out and that he could not find parts. When I told him he had replaced that part last year he didn't have anything to say. I was able to find the part in about 5 minutes and sent him the link. I got a text the next day saying he would warranty it. When I went to pick up my car a week and a half later he blamed the botched repair on the car and complained about how much money he lost. YOU DAMAGED IT! How does a non moving part cross thread itself? At this point I wouldn't trust him to fix my wheelbarrow. I'd be farther ahead to take it to a Porsche dealer. Charlie, the man who owns this business, is like no one else you will ever encounter when you take your car in to be worked on. I mean that in the best possible way.it was a Saturday morning this past May. I needed just an oil change in my '99 SL500 before getting on the road back to Colorado and I didn't have an appointment. poor planning on my part. initially when I met and spoke with Charlie, he said that I would have to set an appointment for Monday. I said "not possible, I'm leaving later today so thanks anyway. I'll just head over to (forgotten oil change place) and get it done there." Charlie paused and said "I can't let you do that. can you come back at 11am?" I did, and he proceeded to take excellent care of my car. I had nowhere else to go, so I waited in the shop area while he went to work on my baby. I was impressed that he uses Mann filters (Benz recommends them) and in addition to my oil change, he took the time to bring me over and show me a couple of things that needed attention even though he knew I was leaving and he wouldn't be doing the additional work. he explained things in detail that was very understandable to me. Charlie is a kind, intelligent, and highly skilled man that knows that the European cars that we have a passion for have a soul. he is in touch with those souls. I'm now back in Colorado searching for a new mechanic that is at least half as good as Charlie so that I can keep my Benz in good mechanical condition for as long as possible. if Rennsport Tuning wasn't 5 or 6 states away, it would be the only place I would take my car.

If you have a euro car you have to visit this place! If you love your euro car Charlie should be the only man you let work on it. Beyond impressed with the service they did on my BMW. Extremely knowledgeable, very good attention to detail, super kind to deal with. I will certainly be back!

I have a couple of older BMWs that I've taken there for service. I've owned and worked on my own BMWs for 30 years. When there's something I can't fix or don't want to fix I take it here. These guys know their sh#t. And they're honest. And their fair.

Very honest, trustworthy, and reliable to get the job done, regardless of the problem(s). Other mechanics would have given up but Charlie will do anything and everything possible to get you back on the road.

This is one of those gems you might hesitate to tell people about because it will become too popular. Be assured that when you take your vehicle to Rennsport, especiallty Porsches, that Charlie and his team will give you the very best advice and service at a reasonable price. I don't know where else you'll find a mechanical engineer to serve as your mechanic.
