Excellent service, excellent People! My car got sideswiped by somebody while I was driving...they took out the passenger door all the way back to my rear tire, so I got together with Eric and Diane to discuss what my options where. From there they took care of everything I needed. If you want someone to fight for what your car really needs to be back in the condition it was before the accident Platinum Auto Body is the place to go. They will make sure nothing gets missed and everything is exactly 100% like it never happened. My insurance company underquoted the cost of repairs by a pretty large amount... Eric and his crew found almost 3k more in damage and made sure it was paid out! I've never felt more comfortable with my car in someone else's hands then everyone at Platinum Auto Body! Thanks Eric and Diane for everything you did for me and my car. Highly recommended and extremely appreciated!

I hit a deer at the end of fall/early winter, Platinum Auto Body got me in quickly and made sure to put my car back together with love and care. They made sure my insurance paid for quality parts and labor, my vehicle looks like a brand new model! Everyone keeps asking me if I just went and got a new car! I ll forever recommend them to anyone in the area, they really outdid themselves and made sure my vehicle was once again safe for me to drive.

I was Traveling threw town with my Wife and 2 Year old daughter. I hit a deer while in town. Brought car to Eric and Diane. What a fantastic experience. Diane explained whole process in great detail until my wife and I understood completely. She even arranged a rental car for me and my family to arrive at the shop! The repairs to the car are flawless! You'd be crazy to not have Eric and his team fix your car! Highly Recommend!!!

Cannot give enough praise to Platinum Auto Body & owner Eric Tetuan. They assisted me with navigating through the Insurance claim process, were open and transparent about their repair process, and were always available to answer any questions I had. In the unfortunate event that I get into a collision again in the future. I won't hesitate to work with this repair shop again! Platinum Autobody is amazing! I had my radiator support replaced here and it was a great experience. The owner Eric is very honest and up front. He will answer all of your questions if you have them. Him and his techs are very thorough and will repair your car to brand new. Finally Eric works with your insurance so it is hassle free for you!The location of the shop may be a bit off-putting, but Eric reassured me that he stores all of his current cars inside the shop. Also the repairs took a very long time, but rest assured if you want the same high-quality, thorough work performed on your vehicle that I received, it is definitely wait is worth the wait.

Eric is very helpful. My box truck doesn't fit in his shop but he did his best to diagnose my problem and give advice even though he couldn't make the repairs due to the size of my vehicle. Thanks Eric!

Eric saved me! I initially went to a different shop and waited eight months for the repairs (parts shortage) Once I got my car back, it was an embarrassingly inadequate repair job. I then took it to Platinum and received an estimate to repair it correctly. Due to Eric refusing to cut corners and actually doing the job correctly to proper specifications the insurance company (Snake Farm) opted to declare the vehicle a total loss. The Insurance company then gave me a low-ball offer as the final payout. Eric advised me to reject their offer. I did and they "looked over my claim and realized they weren't using accurate comps". As a result, I received thousands more, which was an actual accurate value of the vehicle. Eric and his staff will fix your car correctly the first time and his vast knowledge of auto insurance is invaluable. Cant recommend enough!!!!Service: Body & Trim

Eric and his staff are the best ever! After an accident in which my insurance company that rimes with "Eerie" said that they were going to total my 2007 F-150, Eric and his crew not only proved that their damage estimates were grossly inflated, he and his team put my truck back together so well that it looked so good that it almost brought tears to my eyes! It took some time to get the parts due to availability (Covid related), but patience on my part was the key and it was not their fault as this is / was not an uncommon problem. Their attention to detail was incredible, and even after it was painted, it was discovered that the paint did not match correctly (due to no fault of theirs, it was due to a mistake by the paint supplier). I looked at the truck and said that I was not worried to much about it, however Eric and his team made it clear that "no way this truck is leaving looking like this with mismatched paint from my shop!", or words to that effect, and they took the time and effort to redo it to make it look perfect! They helped me greatly when my insurance company tried to screw me over, and they do top quality work. They actually deserved 6 stars out of 5, and I can't say enough good things about them! The work that they did was so good, that my friends couldn't believe that it was the same truck, and thought I bought a new one! I am taking the time and effort to write this review because this is how I found his shop, and I don't regret going there for a second! If your on the fence about going there for auto body repair, don't hesitate going there for a second, you won't regret it!

They did something no one else in the city would touch! These guys are smart. They put an awning on my eurovan without any hesitation and made sure they did it right. He even fixed a few other things and made my sliding door good as new! So glad I found them!

The best decision I have made in a long time was taking my car to Eric. Eric, his wife, and his team are top notch. Clear communication throughout the whole process. His attention to detail is unmatched. He may have had my car a little longer than I expected but for how great it looked when he was done I would have let him keep it another week!! My car looks better than when I drove it off the lot. Do not overlook this great shop!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Let me start off by saying I went to 3 other body shops before someone recommended this one, none of the other shops took the time to look at my car all they would look at was the estimate the insurance company gave just off of the pictures I took. Needless to say it was a lot more damage than the pictures showed. Eric came and looked at my car also took more pictures and got me a tire and tied the front end up so I could drive my car safely until my parts came in. They went above and beyond what any other shop would do and on top of that I got my car back and it looked like it was never hit. They had to deal with a lot from my insurance company and they did and kept me updated every step of the way. I have used other body shops in the past but in the future if I ever need anything done to my car it will be platinum auto body their name says it all and you will not be disappointed.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

The owners of this business Miss Diane and Eric are two of the most amazing and down to earth people I have ever met. They are reasonable and compassionate and their work is 100% reliable. I have had nothing but great experiences with them from the very first encounter in 2006. This last experience I had with them for a total loss of my vehicle, Eric, right away knew it was going to be a total loss and recognized the insurance companies delay tactics and helped me get such an excellent well deserved appraisal on my car and also put me in contact with a lawyer and I cannot be more grateful to have the both of them in my corner through the entire process. Thank you Miss Diane and Eric you guys are the BEST!!! My choice to use Platinum for my auto collision repairs was made easy just off the initial conversation with Eric. Very helpful, knowledgeable, and transparent right off the bat. Even with their busy schedule, they were able to fit my vehicle in for a timely estimate. Platinum went above and beyond dealing with an extremely difficult insurance company to help relieve extra stress in an already stressful situation. Platinum auto body is amazing to say the least! They got my Vw Gti in to the shop very fast unlike any other shop in Erie. Eric and his wife are the most honest people when it comes to anything auto repair. When I first brought the car in he was pointing stuff out that I would of never noticed on another car such as the aftermarket glass and that the hood has been removed by me. So I was already knowing I could get a great repair from him. A few weeks later I went to pick it up and it looked amazing and better then it ever has and even reinstalled the aftermarket lip on the bumper! He even gave me a lot of advice on my car and what I should be looking out for in the future as the car has aftermarket parts on it. I m very happy I went with them and would trust any car in the future in their hands. Very good shop would never recommend anything else other then Platinum!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

This place is the best!! I am a college student that lives 6 hours from home, so when my car got hit for the first time, I was extremely stressed about the whole thing! I decided to take it to Platinum Auto Body based on their reviews, and the decision was the best! They communicated to me about everything that was going on, but they also communicated to my mom when she had a question! Needless to say, the first time I took my car here they did an amazing job, was quick, and did great work! When my car got hit for the second time, I knew I was going to take it back to Eric. They are super understanding, are honest, are quick, and truly do good work! They had to fix up one side of my bumper, and he even had them repaint the whole thing on the side that wasn't hit as well! I got my broken car fixed a few times by Eric. His fixed my car with great finesse every time at a reasonable cost. He is a nice guy too and treats his customer well. I wish him a great success.

I ll begin by saying that I have never posted an online review for anyone. However, the service and repairs made at Platinum Auto Body definitely deserve one. We got into a collision during our vacation and we found ourselves six hours from home in Erie, PA, the final destination on our trip. (By the way, Presque Isle State Park is a great place to visit!) I searched online for auto body shops and selected Platinum. Since I m not from Erie, I had no idea what to expect when I arrived at the shop. Having never needed any auto body work done before, I was really counting on the owner to be honest with me. Needless to say, Platinum got the job. Two days later, we left in a rental car to go home. Leaving our car behind in Erie, six hours from home, was unsettling to say the least. Our insurance company became a huge source of frustration and it took far longer than we or Platinum expected. Eventually we returned to Erie to pick up our car. Eric and his staff did an outstanding job! Eric and his wife maintained dialogue with us throughout the process. The front end of our car looked like new. Eric was very adamant about using only Subaru parts and I appreciated his persistence to get the proper parts. A week after returning home, I took the car to our mechanic for its annual inspection. The mechanic, in business for nearly 50 years and one who pays close attention to detail, wouldn t have known it was hit if I hadn t told him. He was very impressed with the work that Eric had done, even pointing out some of the subtle details that Eric had shared with me when we picked up the car from his shop. The mechanic said the paint job was very well done, commented about the paint s quality, and told me that I wouldn t have gotten a job done that well in our area. While in Erie, I was wishing we could get the car home to get fixed (and for the convenience of not driving six hours to pick it up). As it turned out, Platinum Auto Body was the best place to take my car!Services: Painting, Body & Trim, Oil change

Great experience overall! Got in an accident in late Aug. and had just moved to Erie in the beginning of the month. Didn't know any shops, so hoped all of Platinum's 5-star reviews were legit. Turns out they certainly were! The accident was not my fault and so I was dealing with the other driver's insurance. Since Eric used to work as an estimator before owning his body shop, he not only knew how to fix the car correctly, but he also knew all the ways an insurance company takes advantage of the not-at-fault party. He pushed back against the insurance company to ensure I (his customer) was taken care of. Thanks for everything!Services: Exhaust, Painting, Body & Trim

Eric and Diane were great to work with! They kept me informed through the whole process and when they promised to call and update me, they always did! They were reasonably priced and went above and beyond to get my car finished quickly! My car looks and drives like it is new! I highly recommend them!

I recently had my CR-V repaired after being rear-ended. Eric and his staff were friendly and very helpful. Everything was explained in detail, which I appreciated since this was my first experience with collision repairs. My vehicle looks great. I would highly recommend Platinum for great quality work and excellent customer service.

Have had more accidents or car issues that I care to remember, Have always had a top notch experience with Eric at Platinum. Eric has a great ability to go above and beyond what the insurance adjusters think they should pay, vs what I actually need to have my vehicle safe and correct. He handles that aspect and makes the process very easy. Great relationship with Enterprise rental cars too!
